Chapter 1470: Arrogant? Ignorant? Presumptuous?

“Su Mo wins!”

The brown-robed elder’s voice rang through the fighting ground, announcing Su Mo’s victory.

Su Mo laughed lightly and flew back to the stands. He maintained his calm exterior and appeared almost like a saint after emerging from the battle unscathed.

Many people silently wondered: if Su Mo had defeated two godly geniuses, was he really unrivalled among all the Martial Emperors?

“A godly genius indeed!” Yun Youyou’s gaze also showed her awe and surprise. Even among the Sun Moon Tribe, there were few whose talents who had reached Su Mo’s level. Su Mo really was a godly genius.

The defeated Yang Tiancheng felt utterly humiliated and his face flushed red. As though he could sense the many stares on his back, he tried to hide his ashamed face as he returned to the stands.

As soon as Su Mo returned to the stands, he immediately received Sage-to-be Zhen Gu’s praise.

Sage-to-be Zhen Gu was gracious and thankful that Su Mo had regained the honour for the sect.

Elder Feng Guang was also highly emotional, and appeared as if he was even happier than if he had won the fight himself.

Some were joyful and some were worried. The faces of the other six superpowers’ elders and geniuses were stone hard. The appearance of a talent like Su Mo meant that the first place position would have to go.

“Jianhao, do you have the confidence?”

Among the Imperial Sword Faction, an elder asked Zhao Jianhao beside him. Although Zhao Jianhao had yet to battle against Su Mo, he would have to fight against Su Mo eventually if he wanted to be placed first.

“Probably 50%?” Zhao Jianhao sighed. He did not have definite confidence that he could win. However, upon considering his strong Natal Spiritual Sword Array, he still felt like he had a chance.

“50%!” The elder nodded his head. A 50% chance of winning was still pretty high.

On the other hand, Yan Lantian of the Black Flame Tribe, Ling Feng of the Shining Spiritual Tribe and Lei Yunhao of the Thunderclouds Bird Tribe were also wearing grim looks on their faces.

Su Mo’s strength put much pressure on them and they felt as though their places were threatened.

However, despite wearing hardened expressions, they were not disheartened. Without fighting Su Mo personally himself, who knew who would eventually win?

The fight meet continued as the challenges resumed.

Suddenly, Su Mo’s heart jumped. He felt a familiar gaze on him and as he turned his head in the direction of his instincts, he felt Yun Youyou’s eyes on him.

Su Mo laughed softly before nodding his head in acknowledgement.

Yun Youyou shyly bit her lip in response as she acknowledged Su Mo. Then she turned away.

Su Mo’s eyes softened in glee. It seemed that his performance today had indeed captured Qing Xuan’s attention. It would be much easier for him to get closer to her in the future

Time passed by slowly and the battles continued on in the fighting ring without any breaks.

After another day, the round had finally ended.

With three rounds over, the ones who had been defeated three times in total were also eliminated.

Among the True Path Sect, many disciples were also eliminated and, aside from Lu Gang, Lin Huang and Tang Gu, there were 20 other disciples still participating.

All the other superpowers had a higher number of participants remaining with roughly around 50-60 disciples each.

Everyone who had been eliminated had to leave the southern stands and go to the eastern and western stands to watch the remaining battles.

The rules for the remaining battles did not change. However, if a participant lost in a fight, it would be recorded in addition to the participant’s previous battle outcomes.

For instance, a person who had lost two rounds previously could still participate in the fight meet. However, the moment the person lost again, he would be eliminated automatically.

Hence, there would be people who were eliminated every round in the subsequent battles.

“Let the fifth round begin!”

The brown robed elder’s voice rang through the grounds again. The moment his words fell, a green shadow flew across the fighting ring like a bolt of lightning.

The crowd was once again surprised by what they saw. The first challenger to start the fifth round was actually Su Mo again!

The onlookers couldn’t help being curious. Who would Su Mo challenge now since he seemed so eager to challenge? Would he challenge the other godly geniuses of the other superpowers?

“Yan Lantian, you are next!” Su Mo stared at Yan Lantian of the Black Flame Tribe and called out.

The group of spectators were shocked and their hearts started to beat with worry. Su Mo had challenged godly talents from the superpowers in every round!

First he had defeated You Lang, then it was Yang Tiancheng. Now, he wanted to challenge Yan Lantian.

Was he going to wipe out all the talents of the other six superpowers?

“Challenge me?” Yan Lantian’s eyebrows furrowed. He didn’t expect Su Mo to challenge him so quickly.

“That’s right. Not only you but the other talents of the other superpowers should also come down!” Su Mo nodded his head nonchalantly.

“Is that so?” Yan Lantian frowned even harder and his face turned even uglier. Su Mo’s attitude seemed to show that Su Mo did not hold any regard or respect for any of the other geniuses.

“You don’t know your place!”

“How arrogant!”

“Su Mo, you are too presumptuous!”

Zhao Jianhao and the other talents yelled out the moment they heard Su Mo’s words.

Although Su Mo’s didn’t act too arrogantly, his confidence in being unrivalled and the fearlessness in his eyes showed that he didn’t seem to be worried about the other geniuses.

Su Mo did not regard them as competitors at all!

Everyone watching the scene was also shocked. This Su Mo really was domineering. He had actually announced openly that he wanted to challenge all the geniuses of the other superpowers.

However, Su Mo’s strength that was displayed previously, where he had beat You Lang and Yang Tiancheng, meant that he was already unrivalled.

“What? Are you guys not happy?”

After hearing Zhao Jianhao’s, Lei Yunhao and Ling Feng’s yells, Su Mo turned towards the three of them. Wearing an amused look, he said, “if you guys aren’t happy, then come and fight me together, I will gladly take you on!”

Su Mo’s declaration instantly enraged the geniuses of the superpowers. This was Su Mo looking down on them.

“Su Mo, you are way too presumptuous!” Yan Lantian roared out.

“Just because you defeated You Lang and Yang Tiancheng, do you think you are unrivalled among all the Martial Emperors?” Zhao Jianhao’s face was icy cold.

“You don’t know your place at all. Your pride has soared way too high!” Ling Feng coldly mocked.

“Your arrogance is too much!” Lei Yunhao wore a look of displeasure.

The geniuses of the superpowers hurled insults one after another. Su Mo’s arrogance infuriated them. Although they actually secretly admired Su Mo’s strength, his arrogance and boldness was hurting their pride.

“I am presumptuous? Arrogant? Ignorant?”

Su Mo could only coldly scoff. Then, he nodded his head lightly and said, “since all of you think I am arrogant and ignorant, then I will be arrogant and ignorant from now on. I want to challenge all four of you together!”
