Chapter 1490: Star Cangyuan
In the starry sky, Spiritual Sword Snakes were like streaks of lightning that tore through the sky and attacked Tai Changshan unstoppably.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Tai Changshan could only defend himself continuously against the attacks as his war axe danced across the sky gracefully and destroyed the Spiritual Sword Snakes before him.
Su Mo pushed his aura to its peak as he stood a thousand feet away from Tai Changshan in the starry sky.
His previous two attacks towards Tai Changshan had missed their target, and although Tai Changshan was hit in the first sneak attack, Tai Changshan had only suffered a surface injury which was nothing serious.
Su Mo was currently preparing for a final attack that would defeat Tai Changshan for definite.
In order to better conceal his whereabouts, he pushed his mind and controlled the Natal Spiritual Sword Snake Array to quicken its attack speed such that Tai Changshan would be completely occupied with defending himself.
With that, Su Mo slowly crept up on Tai Changshan until he was around ten feet away from Tai Changshan.
In the crowd of onlookers, many disciples did not know where Su Mo was and they could only see Tai Changshan being continuously assaulted by the Spiritual Sword Array.
Only Feng Guang, the elders and a few disciples in the Rank 2 Martial Honorable Realm and above had found out where Su Mo was.
They saw how Su Mo loitered ten feet around Tai Changshan and immediately began to get anxious. For a battle at this level, a ten foot distance wouldn’t even be considered ‘distance’ anymore.
These martial artists who could sense where Su Mo was couldn’t help feeling their hearts climb into their throats. It was very probable that Tai Changshan would not be able to dodge Su Mo’s next attack.
Right in the midst of their worries, Su Mo attacked.
Shoosh!
Su Mo’s body flashed and he swung his arm heavily forwards, and an icy cold Sword Radiance that was aimed towards Tai Changshan’s neck appeared.
This attack was incredibly fast and as the Sword Radiance split the air, it travelled at the speed of light. It was hard to even keep up with the attack path of the Sword Radiance.
Most importantly, this one sword attack was executed very brilliantly. Right at the moment that he struck, the Ten Direction Natal Spiritual Sword Snake Array moved to attack Tai Changshan in all up, down, left and right directions.

Tai Changshan immediately waved his war axe forward to block the attacks of the Natal Spiritual Sword Snake Array. However, the moment he lifted his war axe, a sharp, cold radiance flashed before him, heading towards his neck.
“What?” Tai Changshan turned pale with fright. He had not expected that Su Mo’s attack would come up at such an opportune time.
At that point, he continued to block the Spiritual Sword Snake attack. With the cold radiance aimed directly at him, and as it sped towards him at lightning speed, it was too late for Tai Changshan to dodge it.
Shoosh!
In the blink of an eye, Tai Changshan whipped the war sword in his hand to slash the sharp, cold radiance before him.
Then, the war axe and the cold radiance collided.
Clang!
An ear-piercing sound that was like clashing metal pierced the air. A terrifying explosion followed next as forces rolled out in waves across the starry sky.
Shoosh!
Su Mo revealed himself at that instant, blown back a few hundred meters from the impact. He was focused on ensuring the speed of his attack and had compromised on the strength of it.
Tai Changshan, on the other hand, was frozen to the spot. The ten Spiritual Sword Snakes had wrapped themselves around his neck.
“You have lost!” Looking at Tai Changshan, Su Mo declared in a low voice.
Tai Changshan’s face was as hard as steel. With the cold metal of the swords pressed around his neck, he had no choice but to admit his defeat.
This was because Tai Changshan’s body would have been crushed to pieces if not for Su Mo’s mercy to him in holding back his attack.
Tai Changshan felt as though his heart was choked with regret. He did not know of Su Mo’s attack strategies beforehand and was taken aback by Su Mo’s attack methods. That was the reason for his loss.
If they fought again, Tai Changshan was fully confident that he would not lose.
Huff!
Taking a deep breath, Tai Changshan’s hand flipped over to reveal a storage ring.
“Yours!”
As he threw the storage ring to Su Mo, Tai Changshan turned around and left.
Su Mo grabbed the storage ring in his hand and casually checked through it. Instantly, a surge of joy swept through his heart. He had obtained another thousand Medium Spiritual Crystals. Earning Spiritual Crystals was way too easy!

Looking at the retreating figure of Tai Changshan, the crowd was overwhelmed with shock. Tai Changshan had actually been defeated. This outcome of events was unlike anyone had expected.
Tai Changshan’s strength was so strong, but he had still lost to Su Mo. Su Mo’s power and attack strategies were so terrifying.
Feng Guang’s face had also scrunched into a frown as his heart fell in defeat. He had specially ordered the disciple to bring Tai Changshan over to challenge Su Mo and crush his pride.
However, not only was he not successful, Su Mo’s power had also grown with the battle. This made Feng Guang sigh helplessly.
“Anyone else want to challenge me?”
Su Mo turned towards the crowd, wearing a smile on his face, “I don’t need 100 Medium Spiritual Crystals. Three of five hundred will also do.”
As his voice boomed across the four corners, it silenced the crowd. Many people stared at Su Mo and chided at him in their hearts. You are so strong, who would dare to challenge you!
No one spoke out and no one dared to challenge Su Mo. Those who wanted to challenge Su Mo earlier had all withheld their urges to.
This is because they were fully clear of their own strengths and they understood that they did not have single chance of defeating Su Mo.
“No one else up to challenge?” Su Mo shouted again. This method of earning Spiritual Crystals was incredibly fast and he wanted more people to challenge him.
However, there wasn’t anyone else who dared to challenge him. In the following moments, Su Mo continuously tried to invite people to challenge him. However, no one else dared to battle against Su Mo, even after a few hours had passed.
Eventually, Su Mo sighed helplessly. Since no one was willing to challenge him, he would not continue waiting anymore.
Everyone knew his strength already and hence, no one dared to challenge Su Mo.
Su Mo left the starry sky and headed back towards Sun Moon Star.
As the crowd stared at Su Mo’s back, they were full of astonishment and yet they were also sighing. This Su Mo was a monstrous talent! He really was a godly genius!
…
Su Mo flew into the nine heavens atmosphere and once he entered Sun Moon Star, he headed back towards the sect.
There was a Space Teleportation Formation on Wen Dao Mountain and it could be used as a transport means to many destinations.
After Su Mo returned to True Path Sect, he headed straight towards the Teleportation Formations and left for Star Cangyuan.
Although he had managed to earn a lot of Spiritual Crystals this time, it was a measly amount for him.
Hence, he had to complete the sect missions. A mission like the one at Star Cangyuan where he could exchange his battle loot for rewards was best fitted for him.
Su Mo would return to Sun Moon Tribe when he had earned his target amount of Spiritual Crystals. Although he might not see Qing Xuan again, he could still cultivate at the Imperial Pagoda.
Grand Elder Jin Yang had given him advice on the Five Elements Cultivation Skill the previous time Su Mo had gone to Sun Moon Tribe. Although it had been only a few simple sentences, it had allowed Su Mo to gain a deeper understanding of the Five Elements Cultivation Skill.
Su Mo wanted to go to the Imperial Pagoda soon to improve his comprehension of the Five Elements. Perhaps he would be able to find an opportunity to merge the elements together.
Su Mo arrived at Star Cangyuan six months later.
Star Cangyuan was an average-sized star and it was a bit of a distance away from the Sun Moon Star. The entire star was filled with a light layer of Ghost Qi.
In the high skies, Su Mo burst through the air at lightning speed as he headed towards his destination.
The mission was located at a Demons Domain that was filled with demonic creatures all year round. Su Mo headed to the Demons Domain to hunt the demonic creatures.
There was a large number of demonic creatures at the Demons Domain. Not only were there True Path Sect members there to hunt the demonic creatures, there was also a lot of people from other superpowers who often went there to hunt.
