Chapter 1560: Ancient Demon’s Brain

“Senior Li, this is it, this is Demon Head Mountain!” Looking at the mountain before him, Yang Tiancheng told Li Hentian.

“What a strange mountain!”

Li Hentian’s eyebrows etched together. The mountain was shaped like a skull and an invisible crushing force around it made him feel uncomfortable.

“It is rumoured that this mountain is actually an Ancient Demon’s skull.” Yang Tiancheng explained.

“What danger is in it?” Li Hentian asked. He naturally did not know what the risk was inside the mountain.

“I am not sure!” Yang Tiancheng shook his head as he confessed. He had never entered the mountain before, how could he know what danger was within it?

Li Hentian looked at the mountain in front of him and fell silent. His heart was telling him not to go in.

As he thought of the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda with him, Li Hentian smiled slightly. He had an Upper Sacred Weapon with him. Where could he not go in this Ancient Demons Cemetery? There was no need to be so cautious.

“Go, let’s head in. If Su Mo is inside, there is no way for him to run!” Li Hentian commanded. Then, he took the first step and led the group of Empty Sky Sect disciples into the mountain.

Yang Tiancheng and the rest of the 20 disciples followed after him and entered the cave.

Not only were these different-looking insects slightly bigger, the color of their exoskeleton was also different. The black color on the insects was so dark, the insects glowed with a slight silver color.

The silver breed of insects had a dense layer of aura around them and they appeared far more ominous than the black-colored insects.

Su Mo did not fear them at all and used the Natal Spiritual Sword Array to massacre the insects.

The insects were sliced apart into pieces and black blood spurted out of them in all four directions.

However, the silver colored insects had incredible defensive strengths. Even after being sliced by the Spiritual Swords, they did not die and continued to fly towards Su Mo.

Yet, the silver colored insects were incredibly resistant and none of them died.

Su Mo’s face instantly darkened. He did not dare to devour the insects as he didn’t know what would happen if he devoured them.

Then, Su Mo unleashed a large-scale attack. Activating ten Sword Fighting Souls, the attack strength of the Natal Spiritual Sword Array was immediately boosted.

The increase in the Spiritual Sword Array finally broke through the silver colored insects defences as one by one, the insects were killed.

In an instant, the mass of silver colored insects were reduced to ashes.

This was the brain of the Ancient Demon.

With a slight purplish color, the brain of the Ancient Demon was as large as dragon. Lobes of the brain overlapped around each other, and together they were the size of a small hill.

A large number of insects were on the brain, forming a layer around it.

There were black, silver and even purplish-gold colored insects on the brain.

At that point, there was a large number of martial artists in the wide space. Around 200 to 300 people from the Sun Moon Tribe and the seven superpowers had gathered there.

Su Mo saw a few familiar faces. For instance, Lyu Gang, Yi Wei, Bi Qinghan and a few other experts from the other superpowers such as Tian Lang from the Roaring Sky Wolf Tribe, Yan Gu from the Black Flame Tribe.

The crowd was currently engaged in a battle with a mass of insects. An innumerable wave of insects covered the air and surrounded the crowd.

Around ten corpses lined the floor and, evidently, they were martial artists who had been killed by the insects.

Explosive sounds rang unstoppably through the wide space as everyone defended themselves against the while attacks from the insects. It was a scene of utter chaos.

“What treasure is there here?” Su Mo was highly curious. Aside from the mass of insects in this space, there was only the hill-sized brain of the Ancient Demon in the wide space.

The hill-sized brain struck Su Mo by surprise and he could tell from a glance that it was the brain of the Ancient Demon.

The moment Su Mo arrived in the area, a large group of insects flew from the Ancient Demon’s Brain towards him. There was no fewer than ten thousand insects in this large group.

Among these insects were a few hundred silver-colored insects and the rest, black-colored insects.

“Lyu Gang, are you alright?” Su Mo asked in deep voice.

“I am fine!”

Lyu Gang punched his fists forward and killed a few black-colored insects before him. In a worried tone, Lyu Gang blabbered out, “Su Mo, be careful to not let these insects enter your body. Once they do, you will die!”

“These insects will not be able to harm me!” Su Mo confidently said. At the same time, he activated the Natal Spiritual Sword Array and wildly slashed out at the insects in front of him.

In a few breaths, the insects in a hundred foot radius around him were massacred and everyone who saw this sucked in a cold breath.

“How could he still be alive?”

Bi Qinghan and Yi Wei were side by side. Bi Qinghan’s face darkened considerably, he had thought that Su Mo had been killed by Li Hentian early on and had not imagined that Su Mo would still be alive here!

He did not follow Li Hentian to kill Su Mo. After all, he was a disciple of the True Path Sect and not an Empty Sky Sect member. He couldn’t kill Su Mo in front of everyone.
