Chapter 1619: Dumbstruck

After Jiang Shenye had left, Su Mo continued to work on his cultivation. Very quickly, another day passed.

However, Jiang Shenye did not return and Su Mo had no idea where he had gone. Su Mo did not wait for him to return and went to the Grace Hall again.

With much anticipation, Su Mo stepped into the Grace Hall, back into the black void.

After a short while, air-rending sounds broke out and several small stones gathered to form a Puppet man. The Puppet man then walked to Su Mo.

“Elder!” Su Mo cupped his fist at the Puppet man.

“Su Mo, I have already obtained the information that you require!” The Puppet man said in a deep voice as he looked at Su Mo.

When Su Mo heard it, he was excited. He then took a deep breath to suppress his excitement and asked eagerly, “Elder, please tell me what you have found.”

“There is no such thing as the Gate of reincarnation!” The Puppet man said flatly. Although his tone was emotionless, it struck Su Mo like a thunderbolt.

“What?” Su Mo was stunned by what the Puppet man had said and his expression changed. No such thing? How can the Gate of reincarnation not exist!

The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage had told him back then that the Gate of reincarnation could save Qian Xunyue. Did he lie about it?

However, it does not make any sense. The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage would not benefit from lying to him.

“Elder, is the information correct?” Su Mo asked and he looked terrible. He did not believe that the Flaming Devil Ghost Sage had lied to him. Myriad Worlds Mountain might not have news about the Gate of reincarnation.

“Don’t be so impatient. Let me explain it to you!” The Puppet man said as he shook his head.

“Elder, please go ahead!” Su Mo said.

The Puppet man looked calm. After pondering for a while, he said, “Thousands of years ago during the Primordial Age, there were many masters and lots of martial arts in the universe. There were many giants of martial arts and they possessed Great Super Powers. Among the giants, there was one who was known as the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign and his Fighting Soul was the Gate of reincarnation!”

“What? The Gate of reincarnation is a Fighting Soul?” Su Mo dropped his jaw in disbelief when he heard it.

He had always thought that the Gate of reincarnation was some treasured weapon or rare stone. It had never crossed his mind that the Gate of reincarnation was somebody’s Fighting Soul.

“That’s right. The Gate of reincarnation is a Fighting Soul!” The Puppet man nodded.

“Then…why is the Gate of reincarnation not recorded in the Archean Martial Soul Board?” Su Mo asked, looking baffled as his heart suddenly sank.

“It has been recorded. The Reincarnation Martial Soul, which is the Gate of reincarnation, has been ranked number seven on the Archean Martial Soul Board!” The Puppet man replied.

“Reincarnation Martial Soul…Gate of reincarnation…!” Su Mo muttered and his face looked ghastly pale. It had been so many thousands of years, how was he supposed to look for the Martial Soul now? It must have been lost over the years.

“Elder, where is the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign? Is he dead?” Su Mo asked, with a stunned look.

“I have no idea. The giants during the Primordial Age are already gone. They have either died or become deities!” The Puppet man shook his head.

Su Mo became speechless upon hearing what the Puppet man had said. He felt helpless as it seemed impossible for him to find the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign.

Moreover, even if he managed to locate him, the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign might be unwilling to help him.

At that moment, Su Mo was regretful. He regretted asking about the Gate of reincarnation instead of asking how he could help Qian Xunyue come back to life!

Myriad Worlds Mountain might have had a way to help Qian Xunyue.

“However, I have a piece of news about the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign for you!” The Puppet man said.

“What news is that?” Su Mo asked in a deep voice. He had lost hope of the Gate of reincarnation.

“Yes. This piece of news is true. However, we are thousands of years away from the Primordial Age, which was so long ago. Even if the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign was invincible during the Primordial Age, every time he is born again, there is a possibility for him to be dead soon after.” The Puppet man said.

Su Mo was silent when he heard what the Puppet man had said. He knew what the Puppet man meant. Although the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign was powerful, he had to start from scratch every time he was reborn. He might have already passed on.

However, at least there was hope for him and not all was lost.

“How can I find the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign after he has been reincarnated?” Su Mo asked again. The Puppet man was patient in answering his questions. As long as his questions were related to the Gate of reincarnation, he would be willing to reply.

“I have no idea. However, whenever he has been reincarnated, there has been something special about him!” The Puppet man replied.

“What is it?” Su Mo asked excitedly.

“He does not belong to this starry sky or the universe.” The Puppet man said.

“What do you mean?” Su Mo asked with a frown, puzzled.

“What it means is that after he is born again, he will not belong to the Rules of Heaven. He belongs to the life outside the Rules of Heaven!” The Puppet man said.

“What? How can that be?” When Su Mo heard that, his face turned pale and he was totally stunned.

At that moment, Su Mo seemed to have heard the most horrifying piece of news on earth.

That was the first time that he had been so taken aback.

His life did not belong to the Rules of Heaven and he belonged outside the Rules of Heaven as well.

The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage had told him back then.

When the Flaming Devil Ghost Sage told him about it, he did not take it to heart as he did not have to face the Heavenly Punishments. It was great for him not having to face the calamities found in the Rules of Heaven.

However, Su Mo lost his cool at that moment. He and the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign did not belong to the Rules of Heaven.

What does this mean?

It is possible that he is the reincarnation of the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign.

“What happened to you?” The Puppet man asked in amazement when he saw Su Mo’s expression.

The Puppet man did not give much thought to it and simply nodded. He then waved his hand and said, “You can go now. I do not have any more news for you concerning the Gate of reincarnation!”

“All right. Thank you, elder!” Su Mo cupped his fist at the Puppet man. Since the Puppet man had told him that he did not have any more information for him, there was nothing more that he could ask.

Su Mo then took a deep breath and left the Grace Hall.

When he was out of the Grace Hall, he was in a daze. Is it possible that he is the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign? Yes, there is a great possibility!

However, it doesn’t seem right!

He still has memories of his past life and he remembers that he is not the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign. Moreover, his Fighting Soul is not the Gate of reincarnation!
