Chapter 1694: One Shot
Cloud Sorcerer City.
In the palace of Wu Fengtian’s mansion.
Boom!
With a loud explosion, the doors of the cultivation room burst into dust that rolled out in all directions.
“Damn it!”
A loud curse followed the explosion and the steel-faced Wu Fengtian strode out of the doors.
He had just woken up and he found that Su Mo had already disappeared. As such, he was boiling with rage.
His loss was big this time. Not only had he allowed Su Mo to escape, he also lost a few hundred thousand evil souls in the Honorable Soul Banner.
Wu Fengtian’s heart started to bleed as he thought of his losses.
In the palace, the green-shirted lady who had been waiting for Wu Fengtian jumped in shock from his loud yell.
She had been quietly waiting to one side for Wu Fengtian to end his seclusion. The sudden burst of the cultivation room doors scared her.
However, upon seeing Wu Fengtian stride out, the green-shirted lady instantly fumed, “Wu Fengtian, you did not break through to the next rank. Does that mean you can cause a scene here?”
Wu Fengtian jumped in shock as he only spotted the green-shirted lady in his palace.
“Yeqin, what are you doing here?” Wu Fengtian asked curiously.
The green-shirted lady, Wu Yeqin, was Wu Fengtian’s lover. Her father was a priest in the main branch of the Sorcerer Tribe.
“You were cultivating in seclusion and I was helping you by standing guard here for 2 days!” Wu Yeqin scoffed as she sighed inwardly. She had thought that Wu Fengtian would be able to break through to the next rank but he failed to do so.
“Cultivating?” Wu Fengtian’s mouth quivered in bewilderment as his face fell.
What did she mean by cultivating? He had clearly fainted.
However, this fainting spell had actually lasted 2 days and it seemed that Su Mo had already escaped the Heavenly Sorcerer Star.
“Thanks then, but it’s a pity that I didn’t break through!” Wu Fengtian glowered in a deep voice. He would not tell Wu Yeqin that he had not been cultivating.

As for his cultivation rank, the bottleneck to the next realm had loosened and he was about 90% confident that he could break through the next time he cultivated.
“Your servant is really unreliable, he hasn’t even returned after 2 days!” Wu Yeqin roared.
“Servant? What servant?” Wu Fengtian was taken aback for an instant before he realized a second later that Su Mo must have encountered Wu Yeqin and identified himself as Wu Fengtian’s servant.
“Didn’t you get a new slave?” Wu Yeqin was suspicious. Could that man she saw not have been a servant?
“Oh yes, I did get a new slave!”
Wu Fengtian nodded his head as he didn’t want Wu Yeqin to know what happened. Thereafter, he quickly changed the topic and asked, “Yeqin, I didn’t see you for a few months but your cultivation actually reached the Rank 8 Martial Honorable Realm before mine!”
…
In the vast starry space, Su Mo flew through the space alone. A large star appeared in the distance before him.
This star was the Heavenly Sorcerer Star.
That’s right, he was heading towards Sorcerer Star.
If he didn’t conduct a massacre this time, he would not be respecting himself. The Sorcerer Tribe had to pay him back with fresh blood for what they had done.
Since Heng Fei and the other troops flew too slowly, Su Mo had kept them in the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda.
The Heavenly Sorcerer Star seemed close, but it was actually very far. After all, Heng Fei had flown for a full day after he left it.
Su Mo calculated mentally. He had been unconscious for close to 2 days and in addition to the additional day he needed to travel, it would be close to 3 days since he had left the Cloud Sorcerer City and the estimated day he would arrive back in Heavenly Sorcerer Star.
As such, Wu Fengtian and the Sorcerer Tribesmen would think that that Su Mo would have left the Heavenly Sorcerer Star already and Su Mo’s movements would be unexpected.
Su Mo found out from Heng Fei that Wu Fengtian had not died and he found it a pity that Heng Fei had not managed to kill Wu Fengtian.

Perhaps Wu Fengtian was not fated to die early. However, if they met at the Sky Dragon Contest in the future, Su Mo made a resolution to kill Wu Fengtian by his own hands.
With his body as sharp as a sword, Su Mo sped through the sky and got closer and closer to Heavenly Sorcerer Star.
Time passed by quickly and a day later, Su Mo finally shot through the nine heavens atmosphere of the Heavenly Sorcerer Star as he entered it.
“I will devour a few Sorcerer Tribe cities in one shot. This will give me enough resources for a while!” As he lowered himself to a secluded hill, Su Mo muttered to himself.
If he could devour a large number of Sorcerer Tribesmen, he and the Firmament Palace wouldn’t need to worry about the lack of resources for a dozen years.
Standing on the mountain peak, Su Mo gazed far into the distance as he checked through the nearby Sorcerer Tribe cities.
There was a city around 30 kilometers north of him. However, this city was large and Su Mo thought there was a high possibility there would be many experts in it. As such, it wasn’t a suitable city for him to act in.
About 40 kilometers south of where he was, there was a small city.
“It will be there then!” Su Mo’s eyes sparkled as his body shot through the sky and he headed in the south direction.
A few moments later, Su Mo arrived near the small town. Thereafter, he released his spiritual senses and enveloped the entire city within it.
In an instant, Su Mo learnt the number of experts in the city.
There wasn’t a top expert in the city and the highest ranked martial artist there was an elder in the Rank 5 Martial Honorable Realm.
“Not bad!” Su Mo’s face felt cold. There were about 850,000 Sorcerer Tribesmen and a few humans in the city.
However, these humans were all just workers or slaves for the Sorcerer Tribesmen.
“Don’t blame me!” Su Mo sighed a deep breath. These humans could only follow the Sorcerer Tribesmen to their deaths.
There was no right nor wrong, kind or evil. There was only the strong and weak in this world.
Shoosh!
Su Mo’s body shot through the air like a bolt of lightning as he flew into the sky above the city.
“Devour!”
With a loud yell, the massive Devouring Fighting Soul rose up like a huge void that shrouded the entire city.
Following the increase in his cultivation rank, Su Mo’s Devouring Fighting Soul was also becoming stronger and stronger.
The Devouring Fighting Soul was incredibly large by now. As it stood about 10,000 feet wide, it was frightening.
Boom boom boom!!
A strong devouring power rolled out like waves in the sea and it instantly surrounded the small town and began devouring on a large scale.
In the next moment, numerous Sorcerer Tribesmen, trees, buildings and all kinds of miscellaneous things flew towards the sky.
“What is going on?”
“Who is that person?”
“Ah! Save me!”
“…”
In a moment, shouts and screams erupted through the city as many people turned pale with fright.
What was most frightening about this scene was the sight of everything being pulled upwards into the air as though the world had lost gravity.
Many average Sorcerer Tribesmen were powerless against Su Mo’s devouring power as they flew upwards like lost sheep.
“Idiot!”
The Sorcerer Tribe elder with the highest rank in the city also could not control his body as he flew rapidly towards the devouring void.
A longsword appeared in his hand as he sliced horizontally at Su Mo.
Yet, before the attack even reached Su Mo, it self-destructed, leaving Su Mo unharmed.
Su Mo struck out at the elder in a decisive strike and killed him.
One breath!
Two breaths!
Three breaths!
In a mere three breaths of time, peace resumed as the entire city vanished into thin air without any trace of a single soul.
