Chapter 1729: Xu Wushen

Su Mo was taken completely by surprise when he saw a huge palm print capture the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda.

His heart only relaxed once he heard the Grand Priest’s curses and Xu Wushen’s light and magnetic voice.

He had managed to escape his dangerous position as at the most important moment, Xu Wushen had acted out to save him.

In the span of a breath, the huge palm that had grabbed onto the Seven-colored Pagoda released it and disappeared.

Su Mo allowed his spiritual senses to spread through the air and he found that he was on a mountain.

This mountain was in the Triple Deities Sect’s Sky City and it was about 100,000 feet tall. White, dense clouds surrounded the mountain, making it look like a godly mountain.

At that point, the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda was situated on the peak of the mountain.

With a mental thought, Su Mo instantly left the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda and appeared on the mountain peak.

He kept the pagoda and looked in front of him to see a palace in the distance. Strange purple stones surrounded the palace and formed a short wall around it.

At that point, a young man wearing a purple robe was looking back at him on a stone table in the yard.

This purple-robed young man was tall and handsome. His eyes sparkled brightly and contained a mysterious sense of depth.

The cultivation rank of this man was a deep abyss that Su Mo could not ascertain, and the man gave him a light and wise sense.

Could this man be an Empty God?

Su Mo’s heart was shocked and also doubtful. The man was in the Triple Deities Sect, how could he have saved him?

“We are fellow sect members, I shall lend you a hand when I can!” Xu Wushen shook his head and nonchalantly said.

With that, he sighed out loud and said, “You got yourself into deep trouble this time. Whether or not you can survive is up to your own abilities!”

“Please give me some guidance!” Su Mo cupped his fists towards Xu Wushen. He was confused, didn’t Xu Wushen just save him? Was he not safe already?

“You have angered the Sorcerer Tribe deeply and they will not let you go. I alone cannot save you!” Xu Wushen sighed. The Sorcerer Tribe was too strong and the Triple Deities Sect alone was not able to stand against it.

Furthermore, he wasn’t the leader of the Triple Deities Sect, and he could not allow the sect to become enemies with the Sorcerer Tribe for an outsider like Su Mo.

Xu Wushen narrowed his eyes and stared at Su Mo, “However, the Sorcerer Tribe will not let you off and I can only help you delay until the Sky Dragon Contest. By then, the geniuses of the Sorcerer Tribe will target you. Therefore, you must not lose at the Sky Dragon Contest, if you lose, you will die!”

Su Mo instantly stood up and cupped his fists towards Xu Wushen, “Thank you senior, I will not lose!:

“Stay in the mountain for half a month. You can leave freely after half a month as you will not be in danger then!” Xu Wushen said.

“Alright!” Su Mo nodded.

With that, Xu Wushen did not converse with Su Mo any longer and waved his hand dismissively, indicating for Su Mo to leave.

Su Mo cupped his fists towards the Empty God and left the yard.

Once Su Mo left the yard, Xu Wushen sat quietly without moving.

Around 2 hours later, he sighed heavily and muttered to himself, “Three years. I have three years left before I have to leave.”

A hundred years ago, he was about to leave the galaxy and head over to the ‘God’s Path’, from where he would not return. However, the sect leader had been injured and there was no one to lead the sect. As such, Xu Wushen agreed with the sect leader that he would remain at the sect for a hundred years.

These hundred years were almost up and there were three more years left until their agreed date.

A few moments later, Xu Wushen stood up and headed over to the space in front of him. As he took a step out, his body vanished into thin air.

He sat down cross-legged in the cave as his face darkened.
