Chapter 1812: The Leng Xie now
Translator: Larbre Studio Editor: Larbre Studio
In the inner tribe of Sun Moon Tribe
A clear and misty layer of water vapor floated above a serene lake, giving it a holy and mysterious vibe.
The middle of the lake was shrouded in a dense and thick layer of mist, hiding the little island within it as though it was heaven hidden in the clouds.
This was Yin Shen Island, where the leader of the Sun Moon Tribe, Yin Shen, lived.
“What did you say? Su Mo has returned?”
Within the island stood a grand palace where the cold-faced Leng Xie stared blankly at the black-shirted young man in front of him. He wore a purple long robe and the news that the black-shirted young man brought to him surprised him.
“Yes! Young clan leader, Su Mo just arrived at Sun moon City!” The black-shirted young man confirmed in a serious voice.
“Hehe!” Leng Xie started laughing out of the blue. Although his laughter appeared hearty, it hinted at a cold and evil intention behind it that sent chills down one’s spine.
He unconsciously gripped both his fists. He couldn’t help feeling a huge sense of humiliation upon thinking of Su Mo.
As the prominent Young Clan Leader of the Sun Moon Tribe who would control the tribe in a future, his defeat from Su Mo remained an eternal shame for him.
Although his teacher had said before that his defeat against Su Mo was a meaningful experience for him, that gave him some pros and cons. As long as he remained determined and persevered through hardships to pull himself up, he could become the strongest person. However, how could he forget the humiliation Su Mo had caused him?
If he was just some nameless fellow, that would be alright. However, as the heir to the Sun Moon Tribe, he could not allow himself to be stained by such a past.
Nonetheless, the defeat from Su Mo did give him many lessons.
Because of his defeat, he had desperately cultivated to crawl out of the humiliation and prevent being looked down upon by the others in the past 2 years.

With the numerous treasures and weapons in the Sun Moon Tribe, his cultivation rank had soared and he was now a Rank 8 Martial Honorable.
This proved to everyone his talents and he had finally received the confirmation from his master and the elders in the tribe to become appointed as the young clan leader.
While this was a gift he had obtained amidst his calamity, he would not be grateful to Su Mo.
“Young Clan Leader, should we?” The black-shirted young man made a strangling action on his neck and asked.
“Are you dumb?”
Leng Xie coldly scoffed. If he got someone to kill Su Mo now, his reputation would be completely gone.
To kill Su Mo just because of his grudge over being defeated?
If that matter spread, the other godly talents who were eyeing the young clan leader position would start scheming again.
The black-shirted young man immediately shut his mouth upon Leng Xie’s reprimand.
“He did defeat him previously but he was lucky to do so. That was because I was too rash in front of all the spectators!”
Leng Xie suddenly stood and gazed at his reflection in the crystal clear water in the lake as his eyes brimmed with confidence.
In these 2 years, he had not only raised his cultivation rank, he had also trained more secret arts of the Sun Moon Tribe.
He had absolute confidence of beating Su Mo now.
As such, he wanted to defeat Su Mo in front of a large crowd and prove to everyone how strong he was.
“With the Young Clan Leader’s current strength, defeating Su Mo will be a piece of cake!”
The black-shirted young man very routinely praised Leng Xie before he asked again, “Will Young Clan Leader go and challenge Su Mo?”
“No way!” Leng Xie shook his head and replied, “With my current status, challenging Su Mo would be a joke!”
“That’s true!” The young man in the black-shirted nodded his head. He knew that Leng Xie took his reputation seriously as he was in a very highly esteemed position.
“How about this!”
Leng Xie suddenly proposed, “Go and take a look at Su Mo’s cultivation rank and observe his movements before you report back to me!”

Leng Xie did not rush to act. As he was about to be crowned the Young Clan Leader officially, many eyes were on him and he could not go directly to challenge Su Mo.
After all, as long as Su Mo was in the Sun Moon Tribe, he would not escape Leng Xie’s eyes.
“Understood, Young Clan Leader, I will do what you ask now!” The black-shirted young man cupped his fists towards Leng Xie before he bowed and swiftly left the palace.
“Su Mo, Su Mo, I want to see just how exceptional you are!” Looking at the back of the black-shirted young man, Leng Xie mumbled to himself.
…
The inner tribe of the Sun Moon Tribe was a small world that was called Sun Moon World.
Although Sun Moon World wasn’t as big as Kunyun Small World, the density of Spiritual Qi in the air was more than ten times higher than Kunyun Small World.
Aside from the large plains and a long river that flowed within the world, there were 8 other cities including the home of the main tribe members and 7 other cities that outsiders lived in.
Wendao City was where the True Path Sect members lived. This city was not large and it was only about 300 meters wide.
It was no larger than ordinary cities but the inside of the city was not bustling with activity. There was also no merchant house in the city, only palaces that stood one after another.
These palaces or mansions were not numerous as there were only about 1000 of them. As they stood about 300 meters apart, the distance highlighted their grandeur.
Once they entered Wendao City, Di Lao brought Su Mo in front of a small mansion that was no larger than the size of an ordinary yard.
“Su Mo, you will live here from now on!’ Di Lao said in a low voice.
“Mm, sorry for the trouble!” Su Mo thanked Di Lao.
“No worries, Wendao City has an elixir hall, a weapons hall and a martial hall. You may head there to buy things that you need!” Di Lao shook his head.
“Mm!” Su Mo immediately nodded his head.
“Go on in then!”
Di Lao waved his hand before he suddenly added, “oh right, don’t go the other cities casually. Also, many mountains in Sun Moon World are dominated by strong experts. You had better not go over there in case of a misunderstanding!”
“Understood!” Su Mo nodded his head. It was evident that the True Path Sect and the other superpowers were independent entities.
As for the valuable mountains that were surrounded by thick Spiritual Qi, they must have been under the control of experts from the other superpowers.
“Especially for the middle city’s lake and Yin Shen Island, that is where the leader stays. You must not head over there!” Di Lao warned.
Su Mo nodded his head again and thereafter, Di Lao left while he headed into the mansion.
The mansion was small and stood in an area only about 1000 feet wide. There was a main hall and a side hall in addition to the back and front yard of it.
Perhaps it had been a long time since someone had stayed here as a thick layer of dust had gathered within the mansion.
Su Mo lifted his hand and allowed a thin layer of energy to pass through as he cleaned up the entire mansion.
In a single breath of time, all the dust and dirt around the mansion dispersed like a breeze of wind, allowing the mansion to appear clean and pristine.
Su Mo found a cultivation room in the side hall and sat down crossed-legged in it.
He retrieved a Silver Birth Fruit and immediately devoured it.
The moment the Silver Birth Fruit entered his body, Su Mo immediately surrounded it with Dark Force and began to refine it.
“Hm? How can it be so hard?” A shocked expression crossed Su Mo’s face. Typical spiritual fruits required only a bit of effort to be refined but this Silver Birth Fruit was as hard as steel, not reacting to any of his Dark Force.

Starlight Antiquities
There is a place in the galaxy that deals in antiquities of all kinds, human and non-human alike. Its inventory of artifacts is colossal as is its inventory of mercs who they hire to acquire any artifact a client may wish that is yet to come into their possession. The ill-reputable business is constantly rubbing against the changing tolerance of the Union's government, and there are many security officers who would love nothing better than to vaporize the whole place with its owners inside. Yet, there are many tasks that nobody can do better, especially in the vastness of deep space where Union law is worth less than the energy needed to display it. One of its jobs involves finding an artifact that may not only hold the future of the human race but may also disturb the balance of the whole galaxy. *** While waiting for the next season of Mandalorian and the Witcher, and rewatching Firefly for the gazillionth of time, I decided to write this space-based series. The series has some litRPG elements in it, but it does not read like one. So, you won't run into any blue screens here. Yet, I wanted to use litRPG to give another dimension to this whole story and make it as unique as possible. This is a work-in-progress. Hope to keep on improving and fixing my mistakes as I go along.

Be advised.**
