Chapter 1813: Why should I return it?
Su Mo increased his concentration of refining the Silver Birth Fruit as thick Dark Force surrounded it.
Very quickly, the Silver Birth Fruit changed under Su Mo’s relentless Dark Force pressure. A strange medicinal warmth rolled into Su Mo’s body.
This medicinal warmth circulated through his veins and continuously merged with his Dark Force.
As thick Dark Force circulated within Su Mo’s body, a full day passed.
“It is effective!” Su Mo grinned in surprise. He could feel that the medicinal properties of the fruit had strengthened his cultivation base by about 10 times.
As expected, resources were truly the king of the world.
With the various benefits that different types of resources could provide, even crippled men could become geniuses.
However, Su Mo became disappointed in the next instant. Although the Silver Birth Fruit was effective, the speed that it merged with the Dark Force was incredibly fast.
In just 4 hours, one entire Silver Birth Fruit had been used up.
Whew!
Su Mo let out a long sigh in exasperation. These 4 hours of cultivation were comparable to about 5 days of his normal speed of cultivation.
He had 18 Silver Birth Fruits in total and if he devoured the remaining 17 fruits, he could save 3 months of time.
By then, even if his cultivation base wasn’t completely well, it would be rather solid. He could cultivate a bit more and then break through to the Rank 8 Martial Honorable Realm.
With that thought, Su Mo began to devour the remaining Silver Birth Fruit.
The remaining 17 fruits were used up by Su Mo within a few days. He did not stop his cultivation even after using up all the fruits.
However, his days were not peaceful and after 10 days, someone came to find him.
“Su Mo, get out now!”
A cold shout from outside the manor awoke Su Mo.
Su Mo walked out of the cultivation room and allowed his spiritual senses to spread through the manor. Instantly, his eyebrows furrowed together because he found 5 people waiting outside his manor.

These men included elders and middle-aged men. All their auras were pure, mysterious and vast, showing that they were all Martial Sages.
The leader of the group was the hunchbacked Di Lao, while a short but strong-looking elder stood beside him wearing a grey colored long robe and a stern face.
Evidently, the one who had shouted just now wasn’t Di Lao but the short elder.
Su Mo strode out and pulled open the doors of the mansion as he walked towards Di Lao.
“Greetings to Di Lao, what is the matter?” Su Mo cupped his fists towards Di Lao and asked.
“Su Mo, this is Hu Sheng of the Empty Sky Sect!” Di Lao pointed to the short elder beside him and introduced the two.
A bright light passed through Su Mo’s eyes. The short elder was Hu Sheng of the Empty Sky Sect who was here to retrieve the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda.
“Greetings to Senior Hu Sheng!” Su Mo nonchalantly cupped his fists towards Hu Sheng without bowing.
“Su Mo, you have used my Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda for a long time. Isn’t it about time you return it?” Hu Sheng’s face darkened as he glowered at Su Mo.
Knowing that Su Mo had returned, Hu Sheng immediately went after him as he had been in the Sun Moon Tribe.
It would be a lie to say that Hu sheng had been calm for these past 2 years. Su Mo had been gone for such a long time and he could not find out where Su Mo had gone. As such, he could only continue waiting helplessly.
After 2 years, Su Mo had finally returned.
“Return?”
Su Mo immediately shook his head and rejected, “Senior Hu Sheng, sorry for not agreeing to your request. The Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda is my spoils for killing Li Hentian and hence it is my personal belonging.”
How could he easily return the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda to Hu Sheng?
The pagoda was an Upper Sacred Weapon that was highly valuable.
“What did you say?” Hu Sheng’s heart immediately boiled with the rage that he had been suppressing for the past 2 years. Instantly, he roared like an erupting volcano as his words boomed through the mansion.

Su Mo didn’t want to return it?
Su Mo wanted to take his pagoda for himself?
It felt as though 10,000 horses had trampled Hu Sheng’s heart. If Di Lao and the other Martial Sages of the True Path Sect were not there, he would have killed Su Mo with a slap.
“Senior, please return!” Su Mo stared fearlessly at Hu Sheng and said. He was no longer afraid of Hu Sheng now.
After all, Di Lao was also here and would definitely step in if anything went wrong.
Even if he could not hold the pagoda for himself in the end, he would still make Hu Sheng pay a price and not easily return it to Hu Sheng.
Hu Sheng had given the pagoda to Li Hentian and Li Hentian wanted to kill him. This evidently meant that Hu Sheng was prepared to kill him too. As such, how could he just give it back to Hu Sheng?
“Su Mo, are you saying that you want to keep my Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda?” Hu Sheng’s eyes had raging fires in them as he desperately tried to suppress his urge to kill Su Mo.
“Senior, my words speak for themselves. I have already said that the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda is my spoil for killing Li Hentian. It is also my personal belonging, what do you mean by wanting to take it back?” Su Mo maintained his expressionless face as he replied to Su Mo.
“Nonsense! You killed the genius of the Empty Sky Sect and still want to be so outrageous?” Hu Sheng was enraged by now. His hand quivered slightly, about to unleash an attack.
However, right at that moment, Di Lao raised his hand and blocked Hu Sheng’s path.
“Hu Sheng, you are also not young anymore, why are you so rash?” Di Lao lightly said, without a hint of expression.
“Di Lao, you have seen it for yourself. Su Mo is trying to shove a false argument down my throat! How can I tolerate him trying to keep my Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda for himself?” Hu Sheng angrily accused.
Di Lao fell silent and stared at Su Mo as he asked, “Su Mo, this Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda is famously Hu Sheng’s weapon. Everyone knows this. Tell me how you managed to obtain the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda.”
Su Mo nodded his head and said, “Di Lao, you may not know this, but in the Ancient Demon Cemetery previously, Li Hentian of the Empty Sky Sect took the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda and chased after me to kill me. In the end, I managed to kill him and the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda became my spoils. Why would I return the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda then? Furthermore, the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda was Hu Sheng’s treasure and if he lent it to Li Hentian, he should have known the risks of doing so. Someone who wanted to kill me didn’t succeed and still wants me to return his weapon?
Su Mo swiftly explained the details briefly and showed his attitude on the matter.
Anger burned in Hu Sheng’s heart. However, Su Mo was speaking the truth, Hu Sheng had given the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda to Li Hentian to kill Su Mo.
Yet, he had never imagined that Li Hentian would have failed and died. At the same time, his Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda was also taken by Su Mo.
Di Lao remained silent after hearing Su Mo’s words and only turned towards Hu Sheng a short while later to say, “Hu Sheng, Su Mo’s words makes sense. If you lent your weapon to someone else to kill Su Mo and lost it to Su Mo in the end, he shouldn’t have to return it to you!”
With that, Di Lao sighed as he shook his head, “Sigh. Blame yourself for lending your weapon to others!”
“You…!” Di Lao’s nonchalant expression surprised Hu Sheng, and instantly caused his face to harden.

Plants VS Zombies Post Apocalyptic Fanfic
Steven Weller thought he survived the worse of doom's day. That food shortages and zombies were the worse of his problems. Oh was he so wrong? Now even plants can kill. I planned is a story to be a new original post-zombie apocalyptic with the monster plants from the Plants vs Zombie games. This story is full of zombies, betrayal, giant toothy zombie flash-hungry plants, tower defense like monemts, and lots of bullets. I named it a Fanfic because I don't want to be copyrighted by the Plants vs Zombie people. I hope only good positive things to come from this.
