Chapter 1985: Defeat Mo Jue

Once the crowd dashed out of King Sage Hall, they stopped not far from it.

Many people wore expressions of shock as they stared at the King Sage Hall.

Shangguan Hao was too bold to kill Mo Jue!

This was not only him being bold, he was courting his own death!

However, outside the King sage Hall, the crowd was unable to see the situation inside the hall clearly due to the shockwaves that continued to shake the space.

“He is Su Mo! He is Su Mo!”

Right at that moment, someone shouted, but that man wasn’t Sun Dashan.

Although Sun Dashan had recognized Su Mo as well, he did not speak.

“What? Shangguan Hao is Su Mo?”

“How could that be?”

“How could Su Mo be so strong?”

“I am sure of it. The rumors said that Su Mo’s Dark Force was special as it had the aura of chaos!”

The crowd was engulfed in chaos. Was Shangguan Hao really Su Mo? Had Su Mo’s combat strength really reached such a terrifying stage?

Linghu Tianhua’s face darkened. He had heard of Su Mo before but he did not believe that Shangguan Hao would be Su Mo.

How could such a strong genius appear in Infinite Region? He possessed the strength of the fifth ranked on the King Sage Board at just an Initial Stage Martial Sage Realm.

“He is Su Mo indeed!”

Sun Dashan confirmed as he stared at the gates of King Sage Hall and continued, “I sparred with Su Mo before. It is definitely true!”

Many people were taken aback by Sun Dashan’s confirmation. Since Sun Dashan was so sure, it couldn’t be wrong.

Shangguan Hao was Su Mo.

“Could Su Mo want to kill Mo Jue because of the engagement between the True Demons Tribe and the Sun Moon Tribe!?” someone guessed.

“That is possible!”

“Is there even a need to guess? I heard that Su Mo is entangled with Yun Youyou of the Sun Moon Tribe. It must be for that reason!”

“However, it doesn’t seem possible for Su Mo to succeed in killing Mo Jue!”

The crowd started to buzz among themselves, easily guessing the reason for Su Mo killing Mo Jue.

However, no one thought that Su Mo would be able to defeat Mo Jue.

“He’s courting his own death!” Linghu Tianhua scoffed. He thought that Su Mo would not only fail at killing Mo Jue, he would also die.

Su Mo could possibly be killed by Mo Jue that day.

Sun Dashan on the other hand wore a dark look on his face. He did not want Su Mo to be killed by Mo Jue. Compared to the humans, he hated the True Demons Tribe to a greater extent.

Inside King Sage Hall.

A large shockwave rolled out. After the first blow, Su Mo was slightly surprised. Mo Jue’s strength was stronger than he had expected.

“You are Su Mo?”

Mo Jue stopped himself. His eyes were sharp and cold as though they were two sharp swords.

He naturally recognized Su Mo as he was a true Demons Tribe member and he knew much about the enemy of the tribe.

Yet, he was completely taken aback that Su Mo’s strength would reach such a terrifying stage.

The True Demon Hunting Order had failed to achieve anything concrete but Su Mo had actually emerged so much stronger after three years.

“Die!”

Gold radiance shot out of Su Mo’s hand as the Winged Insect Sword appeared. Su Mo’s face was cold as he pierced the sword forward.

Blood Force had been activated and Sword Force shot to the sky. Chaotic Sword Qi that was as blinding as lightning struck out at Mo Jue.

Since the space of the King Sage Hall was small, the vast Chaotic Sword Qi almost instantly struck Mo Jue.

“Break!”

Yet, Mo Jue was an expert as well as he did not hesitate to attack. Demon Qi surged out of Mo Jue and he became a Demon God.

With a punch filled with Demon Force, dark Demon Radiance that possessed destructive auras struck against the Chaotic Sword Qi in the blink of an eye.

Boom!

An earthshaking explosion erupted in the King Sage Hall as both the Chaotic Sword Qi and Demon Radiance were destroyed into terrifying shockwaves that assaulted the King Sage Hall’s interior.

While the King Sage Hall shook violently, the interior was unharmed.

Boom boom boom!

Shockwaves continued to erupt in the hall as Su Mo and Mo Jue mobilized their Dark Force and Demon Qi to form a protective array around them.

“Su Mo, do you think you can kill me?” Mo Jue roared, his voice full of displeasure. He was ranked third on the King Sage Board and did not have to fear Su Mo.

“Oh?” A mocking expression crossed Su Mo’s eyes. He had to admit that Mo Jue was strong.

If he did not sacrifice the Fighting Souls, it would not be easy for him to kill Mo Jue.

After all, he was ranked fourth on the King Sage Board when he was an Initial Stage Martial Sage because he had sacrificed his Fighting Souls.

If he did not use this hidden card, his real combat strength would be much weaker than Mo Jue’s.

Granted, he had just broken through to the Middle Stage Martial Sage Realm and even if he did not use this hidden card, he would be stronger than Mo Jue.

“I will defeat you with this one blow!”

Without delaying further, Su Mo raised the large sword in his hand up high.

Chaotic energy burst forth and Blood Force surged out of Su Mo as more than ten Sword Fighting Souls were mobilized. This made his entire body fill with Sword Force, turning him into an incredible sacred sword.

A large mass of Fighting Souls gushed into the sword, allowed Sword Radiance to explode out of it. Large roars of Fighting Souls sent shivers down spines as the forces of the Fighting Souls were strong and powerful.

“Destroy!” Su Mo swung down his sword violently as shocking forces instantly struck out through the hall.

This sword felt like it could split the King Sage Hall. Mo Jue felt that the sword was strong enough to be a heavenly sword that could destroy the galaxies.

“What?” Mo Jue’s eyes instantly bulged as his heart filled with shock.

The sword’s power caused his hair to stand on end and his body to suddenly feel cold.

Furthermore, his body was locked down securely upon by the sword force. With the space of the King Sage Hall limited, there was no way for him to avoid the attack and he could only meet it head-on.

Shoosh!

In the blink of an eye, Mo Jue retreated to the walls of the King Sage Hall. Gripping his fists together tightly, Demon Qi rolled out of his body and formed a large demonic sword in his hands.

At the same time, a large demonic shadow rose up behind him, allowing demonic force to surged out.

Boundless Demonic Ultimacy stretched out widely.

“Cut!”

With a loud roar, Mo Jue brought the massive demonic sword down in front of him, instantly striking it against the Chaotic Sword Qi.

Bam!

A loud bang sounded from the collision, causing the King Sage Hall to shake violently. In the next instant, the large demonic sword crumbled apart.

Chaotic Sword Qi swept forward, seemingly only being brushed by the demonic sword. Then, it struck Mo Jue’s body.

“What?” Mo Jue jumped in shock. In the blink of an eye, the attack struck his head as he was unable to dodge it.

Pst!

The sound of blood and flesh being torn erupted as the Chaotic Sword Qi sliced through Mo Jue’s body. The protective Demon Qi around him seemed powerless in front of the Chaotic Sword Qi.

Bam bam bam!

As the Chaotic Sword Qi sliced through Mo Jue’s body, it struck against the wall of King Sage Hall and directly exploded apart. King Sage Hall shook violently, booming sounds deafening ears.

On the other hand, Mo Jue’s body was directly sliced apart as the sword mark cut through his shoulder and down his torso.

Shoosh!

Mo Jue, who was left with only his head and half a shoulder, shot towards the door of King Sage Hall.

His speed was fast and in a second, he was by the doors of King Sage Hall.

However, no one had the chance to escape Su Mo’s hands.
