Chapter 2094: The Top Powers From Dark Shadow Tribe
Translator: Larbre Studio Editor: Larbre Studio
Su Mo nodded. He was not concerned if Long Teng became the Tribe Leader of the Dragon Tribe. It was more important that Long Teng had become more powerful.
“How are the two parties doing?” Su Mo asked as he looked at Emperor Shi.
“They are on par with each other!”
Emperor Shi sighed and said, “The Sorcerer Tribe and True Demon Tribe are crazy. They keep creating trouble as they wish to capture Long Teng and Xiao Xiao so that they can find out about us from them. Back then, when Heavenly Sorcerer Star was destroyed, they had already found out that we are from a force!”
“Have they found out about our sect?” Su Mo asked.
“No. We are cautious and have been keeping a low profile!” Emperor Shi replied.
“Good!” Su Mo nodded. As long as Firmament Sect had not been found out, everything would be fine.
“Su Mo, five Empty Gods from the Sorcerer Tribe have returned from God’s Path. Together with their Tribe Leader and Wu Chong, there is a total of seven Empty Gods!” Jiang Fengran said gravely.
“Seven? Are there any Rank 4 Empty Gods?” Su Mo squinted his eyes when he heard what Jiang Fengran had said.
“I don’t think so. The most powerful Empty God is Wu Lun, who is at Rank 3!” Jiang Fengran replied.
“During the past three years, the Sorcerer Tribe has been building up their base. They have taken over a large star and accepted those people whose tribes have fallen apart. They have destroyed many forces in the Ancientspirit Galaxy and taken over their resources!” Wenren Tiandu said.
“The Ancientspirit Galaxy is in chaos and everyone is panic-stricken…!”
All of them started to tell Su Mo about the situation in Infinite Region and the Ancientspirit Galaxy.
Su Mo listened carefully and kept asking questions. After a long while, he found out what had taken place.

After he had left Infinite Region, the Sorcerer Tribe, True Demon Tribe, and Sun Moon Tribe had joined forces and they had tried to get Long Teng and Xiao Xiao to tell them about him.
As Long Teng and Xiao Xiao had the Dragon Tribe to back them up, they did not betray Su Mo.
Due to that reason, the three tribes went to war with the Dragon Tribe and they became arch-enemies.
The two parties kept having clashes over the past three years, causing many top powers to lose their lives.
Although Heavenly Sorcerer Star and the three branches had been destroyed by Su Mo, the Sorcerer Tribe was not affected. Five of their Empty Gods had returned from God’s Path.
The Sorcerer Tribe had a total of seven Empty Gods and their presence had quelled the fear in their tribe members. They had rebuilt their base in the Ancientspirit Galaxy as well. They expanded quickly and suppressed many forces, and they called the shots in the Ancientspirit Galaxy.
As for Sun Moon Tribe, they had withdrawn from the alliance after a few battles.
They no longer joined forces with True Demon Tribe and the Sorcerer Tribe to fight the Dragon Tribe.
Su Mo could understand why they had done so. He and the Sorcerer Tribe and True Demon Tribe were arch-enemies.
However, he only had some conflicts with Sun Moon Tribe and it did not make sense for Sun Moon Tribe to get into a war due to that.
After listening to the people, Su Mo was silent and he went into deep thought.
“Su Mo, now that you are back, are we taking any action?” Si Kongyan looked at Su Mo with anticipation.
Si Kongyan was an active person. For the past three years, he had been staying at the sect and seldom left. Even when he went out, he did it secretly as he was afraid of being found out and he found it torturing.
“Yes, we will be getting into action!” Su Mo nodded, and his eyes were filled with killing intent. As long as the Sorcerer Tribe and True Demon Tribe were around, Firmament Palace had to remain in hiding.

“What are we going to do?” Si Kongyan’s eyes lit up when he heard what Su Mo had said. He had not fought for a long while and he was looking forward to it.
The rest of them fixed their gazes on Su Mo and waited for him to tell them his plans.
“Let’s wait for a while!” Su Mo said and shook his head. He intended to lie low for a while and settle Dark Shadow Tribe before that.
Su Mo then chatted with the people to understand their cultivation.
Other than Si Kongyan and the nine Palace Masters, the cultivation levels of the rest of them had advanced tremendously as well.
Emperor Shi had reached Rank 8 Martial Honored Realm, and Hai Mingjiang had reached Rank 7 Martial Emperor Realm.
Even Su Mo’s father, Su Hong, had reached Martial Honored Realm.
The younger generation like Su Yu, Luo Qianfan, and Bai Yiner had reached Martial Honored Realm as well and they were at different ranks.
Overall, Firmament Sect was powerful enough to rule over Star Guzhou. It could be considered second to the top forces in the Ancientspirit Galaxy.
That was not inclusive of Su Mo.
If Su Mo was included, Firmament Sect could be considered one of the most powerful forces in the Ancientspirit Galaxy.
However, Firmament Sect had been keeping a low profile and no one knew their actual strength.
Even the Outer Disciples did not know Firmament Sect’s actual power.
After the crowd had left, Su Mo went to his palace.
He sat cross-legged in his palace with his eyes shut to sense the Spiritual Imprint.
He wanted to ask An Jian to meet him at Firmament Sect.
Su Mo sensed that An Jian was far away. He would need half a year to travel to the Ancientspirit Galaxy.
After a while, Su Mo successfully passed his message through the Spiritual Imprint.
After he had done so, he started to work on his cultivation. Although he wanted to deal with the Sorcerer Tribe, he had to bring up his strength before that. He would leave it to Dark Shadow Tribe to deal with the Sorcerer Tribe. After all, they were known as the Inherent Assassins!
Su Mo spent his time cultivating. In the twinkle of an eye, five months had passed.
On this day, Su Mo opened his eyes.
“Guard!” Su Mo shouted. A young disciple opened the gate of the palace and walked in.
The disciple was none other than Yin Tianchou from Devilish Qi Land.
“Grand Supreme Elder, how can I serve you?” Yin Tianchou asked respectfully as he cupped his fist at Su Mo.
“Tianchou, my guest will be here soon. Go to the mountain gate and bring him to me!”
“Yes, Grand Supreme Elder!” Yin Tianchou responded and took a bow before he left.
One hour later, Yin Tianchou brought three people into Su Mo’s palace.
The one who was taking the lead was a skinny elder. Another one was a tall, middle-aged man, and the last one was a charming young man.
The three of them were the top powers from Dark Shadow Tribe and they were An Shang, An Yuan, and An Jian.
Su Mo was surprised to see that An Jian had brought two other people with him.
“Please take a seat!”
Su Mo waved his hand and three Futons appeared. He then signaled the three of them to take a seat.
An Jian was the first to sit down. An Shang and An Yuan sat down after they had sized Su Mo up.
The two of them were surprised to learn that Su Mo was from Infinite Region and he was from an unknown force.
After Yin Tianchou left the palace, the gate was shut.

Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
