The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 14

Then she realized it was pointless for her to argue with them. So she just silently and calmly walked towards the lift and pressed the button to go to the 4th floor.
AFTER 2 MINUTES...
"Okay so this is the ward..."
Mia was a bit confused as to why she was panicked till now and for what reason was she worried about Jay.
They were nothing but simple strangers and Jay was an utter trash. Hence, there was no way that both of them could have met somewhere earlier.
'Tap tap tap' *sounds of walking*
Mia Eyle walks slowly towards the room only to peek from outside.
But as she had almost reached the ward she saw something or rather someone and hid herself with hast.
"He...? What is he doing here?"
"It can't be that he is worried about Jay too..."
She was hiding near the pillar that held the building and slowly peeking at the man who was standing just in front of the ward 111.
MEANWHILE...
"Now this is weird... I can sense someone standing right in front of the door..." *thinking*
Even though Jay was sleeping, some of his consciousness was left to guard or sense from any potent danger around him.
"But why will someone visit me? Also, the one who is standing right now outside the door is a hunter and that too of C- Class" *thinking*
As already mentioned Jay Down is someone who is clearly insignificant. He has almost ZERO friends. And in his family there are only 4 people - He, His mother, His younger brother and a younger sister.
His father had long perished. And none of the family members knew that Jay was hospitalized. In fact they weren't even aware of the fact that Jay was a Hunter. So obviously it wasn't them who had come to visit!

And now the only people who could visit him were either from the safety fund department or someone from the raid team.
And as he was thinking all these, suddenly the door opened.
"It's better if I act as if I'm asleep." *thinking*
"So, you are lying here now. And that too maybe fast asleep. I don't want to disturb you, so I'll leave this fruit basket here. Thanks a lot bro for saving me back then." (Unknown)
After saying this the person immediately left.
"Huh!!? This voice was... Brock Zebar?" *thinking*1
Jay suddenly opened his eyes to try and stop Brock from leaving but unfortunately he was late.
"Haha, Brock... you really are kind. Thanks... at least someone thanked me." *thinking*
And as he was thinking this, suddenly a notification popped up.
