The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 160

'Na, let it be...'
Both of them exited the dungeon at the earliest before it could disappear completely.
But that didn't mean that the dungeon would vanish forever.
Since Jay had already got to ownership of the dungeon, it would just end up in his own grasps.
So it is disappearing only for a temporary period of time which is not much.
Right now since both of them were out of the dungeon, they had to focus on whatever they had in their hand.
Res was totally surprised by many things that happened in the dungeon and wanted an explanation about that while Jay wanted to know about the staff which he put in his inventory just before exiting along with the hammer.
Although it wasn't known that what significant strength the staff would provide, it was for sure that this was the thing that he had been looking for.
Also, he got the tunes as a bonus which would most definitely boost his strength by several times.
But he had to figure out the way to make them work because till now none of the runes has been activated on their own.
So he had many things on his mind right now and thus he wanted to end up going to a secluded place and see all those things.
But he couldn't afford to waste time right now since the actual purpose for which he ddi all these was to defeat all the sorcerers and get his sister back.
Around 4-5 hours had already passed since he had left Akaluman and other vampires and right now he was planning to go back with haste.
However it seemed like Res didn't want to let Jay go without giving a proper explanation of what exactly had happened.
So even before Jay could leave, he ended up asking, "Tell me Jay, what exactly was the purpose of you going to the sky dungeon?"
Earlier he had promised Jay but since it was already broken, he didn't think that it was necessary not to ask him questions.
Because if he were to keep the questions to himself; his curiosity would end up taking his life.
Also he had saved Jay in the dungeon so he was expecting at least this much from him.
"..."
For a moment Jay was quite and was trying to find an excuse when all of a sudden an idea struck in his mind.

'The heck... why didn't I think about this since earlier?', he said to himself and almost immediately looked at Res.
"Umm..."
"I want a help from you..."
"Huh?", Res glanced at him with surprise because he himself was also thinking many things.
When Jay asked that, he couldn't possibly back off so he decided to at least hear him out.
"Ya, what help do you need?", Res asked.
"..."
Jay thought about it for a second and asked him directly.
"I want you to help me to win a war..."
The moment Red heard that, he was astonished because what Jay said was 'War' instead of 'Battle'.
If he had said Battle then it would have been in a small scale and there wouldn't be much casualties but then again he did say War for some reason.
Res started thinking about it after taking that the specific word into consideration.
"So... what is this war that you are speaking about?", Res asked with read eyes as if he was quite seious.
Jay had lost definitely seen such expressions somewhere but he failed to remember.
That was why he decided to forget about that and started to explain the situation in which he was.
He explain from the moment when he killed Jeff and everything about what happened to Sera.
It took him no more than 10 minutes to completely explain everything about his situation right after which he turned his gazes towards Res in order to hear his answer if he was going to help.
But he ended up finding a rather intriguing expression in his face.
"Did you say..."
"Sorcerers...?!"
It seemed as if Res has something against them and was quite angry just by hearing that.
"Y-yes..."
'Ding'
[ A sudden wave of killing intent is detected from nearby source ]
[ Warning ]
- Exposure to such killing intent may cause damage to your skill levels
The moment Jay read this message, he decided to change the topic a bit and wanted to calm Res so that he would stop emitting such sting killing intent.
But that didn't mean that he would coax him and take the side of the sorcerers.
Thus because if that, instead of trying to calm Res, he himself got angry.
He too started emitting the strong mood list thanks to which the walls of the building on which they were standing was starting to have some cracks on it.

"Res Sir..."
"Will you help me?"
Jay asked and he was serious too. He wanted a straight answer because right after that he was going to take off using his skill 'Wings Of Wyvern'.
Res kept quiet and then asked after a few seconds, "So, you know the location of all the sorcerers?"
"..."
Jay heard that and just nodded his head because without a doubt it was clearly stated in the letter that he was required to come to the place where he killed Jeff.
"..."
"Alright fine..."
"I'm ready to help you...", was what Res said.
The moment Jay heard that, his joys knew no bounds.
But then again it seemed as if Red placed some conditions.
"But..."
"But...?", Jay stared at him.
"You have to leave the Sorcerer Of Hell to me..."
The moment Jay heard that, he got goosebumps as if he was also familiar with that name.
"Huh...? Sorcerer of hell...?", but then again when he tried to recall that, it seemed as if there was no such memory about that.
"Yes..."
Jay observed the change in expression of Res and decided that it was best for him to let Res do whatever he wanted to get his support.
"Alright... you may do as you wish...", was what Jay said.
It seemed as if he gave out permission to Res but in reality he had no say in this matter.
The only thing that he could do was ask for help and more than that nothing could be done because right now, without a doubt, Res was stronger than JAY!
"Very well, let's get moving then...", Res said.
"Ah, but I want my army to..."
It seemed as if Res was planning to attack right away while it seemed like Jay wanted to use the help from his army.
The Ogre and Goblin army including the 9 generals which he had alongside him, he wanted to use all of them.
Even the vampires and the great dragon Akaluman too, he wanted to take their helps in finishing off all the sorcerers.
But it seemed like Res didn't want something like that to happen.
"It will be too late by then Jay..."
"If you go to take your army, your sister might have ended up being dead..."
What Res said was true. If Jay had delayed any more then who knew what might have happened.
But he had already wasted a lot of time in gathering the power so wasting a bit more of time was nothing.
"Well it would hardly take..."
Jay was trying to explain the same to Res too but it seemed like Res was not ready to hear anything more.
He said, "It didn't happen till now doesn't mean that it wouldn't happen in the next second..."
Just this one saying changed Jay's mind which made him think that rushing to help his sister was the first priority right now.
But still he wasn't ready to go and just die because he lacked confidence in himself from facing so many sorcerers at the same time.
"What? Are you afraid of facing them?", Res asked.
Jay looked at him because he understood what Jay was thinking.
Since the start after receiving the power from the dragon, he had been too lucky.
Instead of actually completing the missions, he used to end up getting rewards rather by lucky.
It was hardly one or two times or a maximum of three times when he had used his power to the maximum degree and won.
That was why he didn't have that much great amount of confidence in him in the first place.
"Sigh...", Res sighed and then gave a smile while looking at Jay.
"Believe me...", that was all that he said after looking at Jay.
The moment Jay heard that, all his tension vanished.
Just those two words were like magic words that sent his fears away.
Although he couldn't completely believe Res, he was able to share his burden with him because he knew how much strong of a hunter he was.
And he also reassured that he would make another portal so that the army could come.
Thanks to that Jay finally made his resolve and was now ready to get in to the Portal.
"So tell me... where exactly are they?"
"..."
To be continued...

Polly and Drake
Drake has been searching for a job as a personal guard, but wherever he turns, he is kicked out without fail. It's not that he's terrible with weapons, or inattentive. It could be because of his obvious racial heritage. Or because of Polly. With his funds dwindling, the only remaining option is to become one of the Cursed: poor souls that work for the Dragoneye Guild. In other lands, they may be called adventurers, saviors or even heroes, but not in the White Desert. Here, they are shunned and ignored. Depraved people who forsook their humanity for money and fame. With this choice, Drake may not only fall from grace, but also become one of only a few thousands capable of unearthing the secrets of ancient times. If he could get this guardsman notion out of his head. May contain gore, violence, profanity and traumatising content. Taking another shoot at this writing business. I write for fun and when I have time. There is no plan. The story may change drastically from what it starts out - or not. We'll see what happens.
