The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 174

'Yes, that would definitely be the best gift for her!', he thought about that.
"Hmm, Veronica, I would extract your soul and give you a different body..."
"Would that be enough...?", Jay asked.
"...", but to that there was no response.
It was completely quiet for a while as if Veronica ignored him. But that wasn't the case.
She was too surprised to even force a word out. She didn't see that coming.
Of course, she was dead once and was now trapped as a soul, getting to live again would probably be the greatest gift ever for those who have been dead once.
"I... I can't thank you enough for giving me such a gracious gift master!", she started praising him a lot.
It was her way of showing appreciation of giving such a gift. Even Jay hadn't expected such a response.
He thought that she was also trying to be quiet and ignore Jay as he did a while ago. But that wasn't the case.
"Haha, I'm glad you liked it..."
"But, I would require suitable bodies first...", Jay said.
Yes, that's the truth, without suitable bodies the souls would be as good as mere goblins who cannot fight.
If the body would be too weak it would get destroyed instantly or a little later. If a body is strong and can hold a soul only then can it could be called a good vessel.
Jay had never once found anything that could house all his nine generals permanently. Now that he had promised Veronica also the same, he had to find one o=more extra body.
Although he had asked Sebas and other vampires to gather some bodies, they failed since no suitable monster's body was nearby.
'Waaa, what do I do? Help me system!'
'Help me find suitable vessels for my army of souls!', Jay was practically begging the system.
'Ding'
[ Would you like to see the compatibility of Vessels and Souls? ]
->Y/N
A system notification suddenly popped up which made him extremely surprised. He never once expected the system to answer his plea. But it seemed like he unexpected did happen.
"What the heck...?"
"That was too unexpected!"
His eyes were widely opened as he stared at texts that appeared in front of him.
'Wait, is this some prank of the system?'
'Could it be that it is trying to deceive me?', Jay thought.

"..."
Of course, that was a foolish thought. The system would never waste it's energy to pull a prank on someone as useless and boring as him.
"..."
'Well, I'll get to know if it's a prank or not anyway if I try...'
"Yes!", he raised his voice and answered the system.
'Ding'
[ Bonus Gift Package Unlocked ]
[ Synchronization [5/5] awarded ]
[ Your eyes has been enhanced ]
[ The system has provided self boost considering the growth of the host in order to house his souls in the vessel ]
[ Duration of usage -> 00:00:01:00 ( 1 hour ) ]
[ Number of times Synchronization can be used -> 4/5 ]
'Synchronization? And gift package?', these were something that Jay was looking at for the first time.
"What the heck are these?"
'Ding'
[ Due to the mishap caused with the first [Error] system Bonus Gift Package is given and your request his heard for the first and last time ]
[ Gift Package remaining -> 0/1 ]
[ Number of requests remaining -> 0/1 ]
"..."
"So it was given as a bonus for what the first system caused...?"
"Then what's this request thing?"
"And the way the texts sounded this time..."
"It was more like a human typing all these stuff!", Jay proclaimed.
But oh well, in the end he received what he wanted to he didn't pry much into it.
After letting it slide, he then took a look at the surrounding only to find his view being enhanced.
On top of every object that he was able to spot, there were weird text floating.
[ Stone ]
[ Incompatible ]
[ Boulder ]
[ Incompatible ]
[ Wall ]
[ In... ]
And so on, many things were named as such. He was glad that he got such an ability but it was not infinite. It was only temporary but if used properly could last long while being quite efficient.
"Hmm, now then..."
"Sebas, can you hear me?", Jay used telepathy.
'Yes my liege, your voice is audible.', Sebas replied in a similar manner.
"Are all the nine generals present there? And what about Wolfy?", Jay asked.
'Yes my liege, all of them are here.'
"Hmm, alright. I'll be there shortly!"
'We will be waiting for your glorious return my liege...'

Right after that, the communication ended. It seemed like all the vampires were anticipating Jay's visit but little did they know that he would come rather earlier than what they had expected.
"Alright, I guess I need to use Wyvern's Wi-"
'Ding'
[ Suggestion ]
[ You can use the Dungeon's teleportation Facility to teleport to another dungeon that you own ]
"Eh?"
"What!!?"
Jay was completely shocked after seeing the ridiculous suggestion by the system.
"I can do that!?"
[ Affirmative ]
He was astonished yet again. The system was responding in a better manner and was indeed taking his situation into the account.
"Just..."
"Just what has happened to you?"
"Did you undergo another upgrade or what?", Jay asked that abruptly.
[ Affirmative ]
"What!?", alright, he was shocked again!
"When!?", he asked.
[ When the host was resting on the Vampire Katherine's lap and was recovering his MP and... ]
"Stop stop, I don't wanna hear anymore!"
[ Command Accepted ]
He looked at the system as if he was meeting some stranger.
Indeed this was a plus point to him, but the sudden change was bugging him.
'I don't remember doing anything special then why the heck did the system get an upgrade?'
'Are these stuff scheduled beforehand or happen in some random way?', he had a lot of questions but decided to put them aside.
"Alright, teleport me to the Dungeon Of Vampires!", that was what he named the dungeon soon after he owned it.
[ Command Accepted ]
'Ding'
[ The skill Teleport doesn't have the ability to teleport you to the desired destination ]
"..."
"Ah, come on..."
"I thought you had upgraded then can't you just-"
'Ding'
[ Searching for alternative ]
[ ... ]
[ ... ]
[ Alternate method found ]
[ Dungeon's Teleport System is available to teleport the host to the desired location ]
[ Requesting the host to allow the access to the dungeon teleportation system ]
-> Y/N
"..."
"Wow..."
"Just wow!"
"I underestimated it and was about to cuss about it but just look at it..."
"It really does look reliable right now!"
"Ahem..."
"Yes, I allow the access of the teleport system!", Jay said with a raised voice.
[ Command Accepted ]
[ Initiating the linkage with the Dungeon Teleport System ]
[ ... ]
[ Link has been established ]
[ Initiating Teleportation to the desired location ]
[ ... ]
Suddenly a bright white radiance started to get emitted from the floor on which Jay was standing.
He was just reading the texts and was listening to the soft female voice of the system when suddenly this happened.
He vanished in a blink of an eye and right after that he appeared in front of Sebas, Katherine, Wolfy, Akaluman, The Nine Generals and all other vampires too!
"Ah!"
Sebas had indeed told them about his arrival, but he came rather earlier than what they had expected and that was thanks to the teleportation system of the dungeon.
'Ding'
[ Teleportation Completed ]
[ The host has arrived at the Dungeon Of Vampires ]
Jay was surprised when all this happened. Though, it was for the good no matter how you think.
"Greetings my liege!", Sebas greeted as soon as Jay arrived.
"Greetings your highness...", others did the same too.
Wolfy too followed them and lowered his head which was the same for the nine generals too. The only one that had it's head raised was Akaluman who was just staring at Jay while meaning to ask, 'What the f*** was that flashy entrance about!?'
Though, he refrained from doing so, it was clearly written all over his face.
"Ah, that's alright, you all can raise your heads...", after saying that he asked them to go back to do whatever they were doing initially.
He didn't want to disturb them in any way. However to them this was not something which they considered as a disturb.
Rather, it was quite the pleasure to serve someone such as Jay who was none other than recognized as the Dark Overlord to them.
Sebas, Katherine, Wolfy and the nine generals were the only ones remained behind from the large group.
Apart from them, Akaluman rested on the huge stone in his small doll like body form while staring at Jay.
"Well well, that was quite the entrance Jay...", Akaluman said with a grin on his face.
"Huh...?"
"What did you say...?", Jay turned back in slow motion as if he heard something unimaginable.
"What did I say?", Akaluman ended up asking himself.
Jay turned back completely and while looking at Akaluman's eyes, asked, "Did you just call me by my name!? Jay!?"
"..."
To be continued...
