"Did you just call my name?", Jay asked.

It was indeed a shock to him because all this time Akaluman had never once addressed him by his name, so such a sudden change was rather fascinating and intriguing.

He could have never imagined that one-day Akaluman would call him by his name, it essentially meant that he was recognized by him.

Needless to say, Akaluman had ready recognized Jay long ago.

In any case, Akaluman didn't want to say anything else because for a moment he was embarrassed.

Yes, he was embarrassed for calling his name which was rather unusual because he thought that Jay wouldn't notice that. Not that he himself knew that he would be calling him in such a manner.

Well, now was not the right time to think about these things anyway because Jay had much more important things to take care of.

He had yet to visit his home in order to reassure his mom and sis that he was fine, moreover, he had to find a body for Veronica.

It was the same for the nine generals too, the souls had possessed the bodies of humans due to which their abilities couldn't possibly be used completely!

Therefore, Jay had to think about getting bodies for them too, but he had no idea about a suitable body that would fit them.

Needless to say, it wasn't an easy task, but he could no longer delay it since the souls would end up getting fused with the humans after which, the souls would only be able to get extracted by killing the humans!

'Sigh, there are a lot of things that I have to do...'

'But more than any of them, I need to first return home...'

Initially, he wanted to do that, but then again, he wanted to visit them to see if all of them were fine.

"Alright, you all rest here..."

He was generous and thoughtful indeed, all of them had come from a tough fight and thus they might have indeed been tired.

So it was in their best interest to rest and thus Jay allowed them to do so. Not that he worried about them specifically, it was just a way of thanking them and that's all.

He could at least let them sleep and rest or do whatever they wished for since they sided with him and helped him when he needed them the most!

"I will go and visit home to see if everything was alright...", right after saying this, he left with the help of the teleportation skill.

He was out of the dungeon of vampires and was in the city. He then walked slowly and steadily while wondering everything that he had heard about earlier about his father and the world's strongest guild.

Basically, he had a guild ready for him, and now all he had to do was take over it, however, it wouldn't be as easy as it sounded!

Of course, he would be able to know more about his missing father and sister after visiting the guild!

However, now his aim would be to increase his strength by visiting the dungeons. Also, he had to take care of the system and use it to his advantage completely.

He almost immediately arrived near the apartment where his house was present thanks to the skill Dash.

In any case, he then walked into the apartment and in a blink of an eye, he was standing in front of the door.

Of course, he was excited to see the reaction of his mom and sister after seeing him. But more than that he was wondering if Sera was fine.

It wouldn't be much of a shock if Sera would have been traumatized after what had happened. However, he hoped for such a thing not to happen.

In any case, he just waited at the door for a minute and then after taking a deep breath, rang the doorbell.

'Ding Dong'

However, there was no response. He rang the doorbell again and yet again he couldn't hear anything from the inside.

Usually, his mother would shout loudly from inside while indicating that she would open the door shortly and would request to wait for a minute or two but now there was utter silence.

'Are mom and Sera our?', was the first question that he asked himself.

Although he wasn't sure of it, he thought that his mom and sister would be out, however, he couldn't be careless.

Just a while ago his sister was kidnapped so obviously he would be worried again. He would t be able to calm himself until and unless he saw her again.

'It would be better if I go search for them...', right after deciding this he teleported himself to the terrace.

'Mom is quite protective...'

'She might have known about everything that had happened...'

'The chaos that I caused and the fear that Sera felt...'

'She might have a good idea about that.'

Jay was completely right. His mother was already aware of everything and probably that was why she left the house and went somewhere else.

But the real question was, where she had actually gone!?

It was up to Jay to find out about that. And he indeed guessed where she might have been.

'Did she go back to the hospital where I was admitted earlier?'

It would make sense that she would be there. One, because she would want the doctors to take a look at Sera, second, she would have to pay for all the damage that Jay has cost!

Of course, no one asked her to pay since it was the Hunters associations duty to train hunters so it was up to them to pay everything back, but for some reason, she felt responsible and despite having quite less money, she paid off the expense for half the damages.

"..."

"I guessed right..."

"You were indeed here..."

Jay had teleported himself to where his mom was, that is, the hospital. Of course, he saw her paying the expenses and sighed.

"..."

'I guess it's about time I go for a rank-up examination...'

'That way more money could come to the house and mom will be much more relaxed...'
