The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 190

"I never knew that hunting a strong monster would be so easy...", was what he said with proudness.
Who wouldn't be happy after hunting such a strong monster so easily?
"..."
But he knew that this strength wasn't permanent. Though he could enjoy the power, for the time being, he couldn't make it his own.
He was afraid at the same time too, not much though.
He didn't want to lose control of the power that he had.
Well, he never experienced such power due to which he could easily attack in a wrong manner that could destroy almost everything in his sight, he didn't want such a thing to happen.
"I wonder how many more beasts I can hunt...", was what he said in a low voice.
He was at his peak at the moment without a doubt, he could actually sense beasts from the place where he was standing.
Of course, his range of sense and search had increased tremendously, he could basically look at every beast within a range of 5 km which was indeed a great thing!
Whatever it may be, now his task was to hunt many more beasts due to which he was able to use his skill to teleport near other beasts when suddenly he found Jake standing right behind him.
"Huh...?", although he could sense all the beasts and their auras, he couldn't even tell when Jake got close to him!
*gulp*
It was as if Jake was making sure that Jay learned a lesson.
'No matter how strong you get, there would always be someone stronger than you somewhere!', was a thought that flashed in Jay's mind the moment this happened.
"What are you doing?", Jay asked.
He asked as if he was completely unfazed by what Jake did, but in reality, he was sweating profusely just by guessing the depth of Jake's powers.
"What the heck are you doing is the real question!", was what Jake said.
"Eh?", Jay was surprised because of that question.
For an instant, it felt as if Jake was angry, and literally, that would be the last thing that Jay would want to do!
In any case, Jay started to wonder what he did wrong, as far as he could remember, he was able to kill the beast flawlessly.

It was not as if he disobeyed Jake in some manner, also, he wasn't hurt so there was no reason for Jake to be angry in the first place, at least, that's what he thought!
"What did I say you to do?", Jake asked.
"Uh..."
"Hunt the beast...", Jay replied instantly right after which he was shown a facepalm, of course, Jake face-palmed himself.
"Can you take a look at the quest?", Jake asked.
[ Mission XGCD01: Blood Moon ]
[ -> Gain the knowledge about the blood essence from Vampires ] [ completed ]
[ -> Create Blood Essence [ 0/1 ] ]
[ Appropriate rewards will be given on the completion of the mission ]
[ Failure would lead to a decrease in all stats by 30 ]
After taking a look at the mission, Jay understood what mistake he did.
.He had to focus on making the Blood Essence for which he had to get the materials and now it was his turn to get the blood, but in spite of collecting the blood of the Gorilla, he was just going to go and hunt others!
"So now do you understand what you were going to do?", he asked.
"Yes...", Jay nodded his head.
He then summoned a bottle from the inventory and then opened the wooden lid-like cap of the bottle.
All of a sudden the monster's blood started to rush towards the bottle and ended up filling it completely, needless to say, now the monster's body was dry and the only that was left were the organs and some water in the muscles!
The bottle was no bigger than Jay's index finger so it was surprising to see all the blood of the giant monster fit inside the bottle.
'That's incredible...'
'Perhaps the bottle has a storage system like the system...', was what Jay concluded.
Well, since Jake gave him that and it was him who knew about the system, it somewhat made sense that he had such bottles.
Not that he disliked them, but he was a bit confused and wanted to know about the mechanism of having such a space.
Regardless, now he was finally set to go to hunt another monster when suddenly he noticed a system notification which had been flashing on the screen for quite some time!

'Ding'
[ You have gained 50000 Exp ]
"Wha-"
Jay was so shocked after seeing this that he lost his voice for a moment.
He couldn't believe his eyes because the amount of Exp that he gained was so high.
'Wait...'
'Does this mean that these Exp points would get added to the actual Exp?', was what he asked himself.
"That would be awesome...", he said in a raised voice on hearing which Jake smiled.
"Ya, it will be added to your actual Exp...", was what he said.
"Really!?", Jay was quite happy because he could now hunt tons of monsters and level up at the same time.
Of course, they wouldn't get added at the moment because fake status was in store, they would get collected and after the profile restores, they would get added.
With that, he would be able to level up only after the actual profile is back which was actually good.
Right after that he rushed and started to kill any and all beasts that appeared on his way.
Needless to say, they have tons of Exp.
'Ding'
[ You have gained 25000 Exp ]
[ You have gained 50000 Exp ]
[ You have gained 19150 Exp ]
And fifty thousand Exp was no joke, he was literally getting tons of exp with ease which was quite beneficial to him.
He couldn't get enough of it and hunted more than twenty beasts, basically, all the stringer beasts of the terrain had ended up getting killed by him.
Of course, he collected all their blood as they were killed. He didn't miss even a single one and soon enough had twenty-five bottles filled with blood.
Well, initially he thought that he could use a single bottle to fill every beasts' blood but Jake refused that.
It was because there was only one spatial storage present in the bottle, the blood would end up getting mixed up with each other which would be nothing more than a nuisance since the blood of separate species or beasts was required.
After hunting twenty-five beasts and collecting their blood, Jake asked Jay to stop. Of course, one reason was that Jay had hunted almost all of the strong monsters in the area and the second was because there was no need to hunt anymore.
Well, his body was exposed to immense power and it was only for the first time that this had happened due to which his body could end up being damaged.
Thus, it was best for him to unequip the weapons and the runes at the same time.
"Alright, now we will be searching for the Blood Sand.", was what Jake said.
Jay was expecting Jake to form another gate to go to another area to get the item, but it seemed like there was no need to do that.
They just had to walk a few miles to reach the area which had the said sand.
'Ding'
[ You have used the skill Dash ]
[ Your... ]
He used the skill dash which allowed him to reach the place almost instantly, of course after ten to twenty seconds.
Well, the thing that his powers were so strong that one skill could essentially imitate the others was insane.
The skill Dash was imitating the skill Teleport, in other words, the speed stat had increased so much that he was able to instantly go from one place to the other.
Of course; that was the property of teleportation to allow the host to reach the distant target in an instant, the same work was being done with the skill Dash.
The only drawback with the skill Dash was that Jay would end up hitting objects if they would be on his way while in contrast to that, Teleportation didn't care if the objects were in the way!
"..."
"So this is blood sand...", a desert-like area was right in front of them right out of the forest, needless to say, the sand was red in color!
And just when Jay thought that he could get the sand easily, he heard a loud roar?
'Roar'
And all of a sudden a giant spider-like monster appeared while being covered with sand!
"Now I have to fight a Sand Monster?"
"..."
To be continued...

The Girl Named Rino
Oh. Hello. I didn't see you come in. No, don't worry. I don't need to hear your name. I already know what it is. I also knew that you'd come up at around this time. But, at the same time, I also didn't know. It's very hard to put into words - but that's what happens when you become the Chaos God. Your psyche gets messed up, big time. That's even more so for me, who was already warped enough to confuse reality with imagination - and, even make the rest of the universe believe that it was so. But, enough about me. Let's talk about you. You seem to come from a very far away land. It's faint, but your presence is there - in a relatively primitive planet. No wonder, no one wanted to stay in, or conquer your region of the universe - there's nothing worth controlling there. Your existence, much like your entire solar system, also seems to be pretty insignificant. Tell me, is your race capable of destroying your own world? Oh, you're already well along the way? Global Warming? Pollution? Overpopulation? Nuclear weapons? Wow... it's been many millenia since I'd last heard of such ancient concepts from someone who is actually living through it. Still, good job getting that far. That means that your world is now, at least, worth considering as a possible place to install a World System. If I find the time, I'll try surveying it. You can just thank me, later. Oh wait! What kind of person am I, not even offering my guest any hospitality. I'm ashamed. Please, take a seat. What would you like? I have everything the multiverse has to offer, whatever it is you want - I can get. Ah! After we talk, would you mind, if I asked you to do me a tiny favor? There's this girl, I want to keep tabs on. She's in one of the Worlds that I preside over, it's called Aiarthe. But, for some reason, I can't see her - not directly, at least. All I need you to do, is check up on her from time to time. Whether you do it as a pure spectator or through someone else's eyes, is entirely up to you. Really!? You would!? Wow! Thanks! You really did me, a huge solid there! For agreeing so quickly, how about I get started on surveying that planet of yours, right now!? You can help yourself, to anything in the fridge! Well, see ya!
