The green crystal turned out to be a beast feed for the war beasts. This was something Ling Jiu had never expected.
“What can this beast feed do, 9527?” Ling Jiu asked.
“The beast feed has high nutritional value. It can not only enhance the strength of the beasts but also speed up their evolution,” 9527 explained. “The benefits are enormous, especially for lower-class beasts.”
“That makes sense now. No wonder Celeste had evolved into a Class 9 Direbeast by just taking a bite of the beast feed. This evolutionary speed is terrific,” Ling Jiu said.
“Beast feed was originally developed for war beasts. It has great value for the Stellar Class and even higher war beasts. More so to the Planetary Class war beasts,” 9527 said. “Only a small amount of beast feed was carried on the mothership after the destruction of the Emissian Civilization. The beast feed that you have found in Australia is probably what the mothership has left behind.”
“Can’t you contact the mothership, 9527?”
“There is only a one-way connection between me and the mothership. The mothership can contact me, but I cannot contact the mothership on my own!” 9527 sounded that there was nothing it could do.
“Okay.” Ling Jiu nodded. “So, can Celeste eat the beast feed?”
“Sure,” 9527 said. “But this amount of beast feed is only enough to make it a stellar life form. If it wants to continue to evolve, it needs more.”
“Evolve beyond stellar life form?” Ling Jiu had a thought in mind. “Can I eat that, too?”
9527 had no word for it. “Let me remind you that this is just food for the war beasts.”
1
“By the way, I have just replicated the Ultimate Physique of the Flame Astral Behemoth, and my body has undergone tremendous changes. But I am a little confused about my strength. Can you help me take a look at me, 9527?”
“Sure thing.”
9527 readily agreed. “But compared to the strength, the attribute index is the most important. How about directly testing the attribute index?”
“Yeah, why not?”
Ling Jiu nodded. He knew what the attribute index was and the importance of it.
“Let’s test the strength index first!” 9527 said. “I will send you into the primary training room, and you are to attack the wall of the training room 100 times! Remember, do it as hard as possible.”
“Got it.”
Ling Jiu was sent into the primary training room. He looked at the wall, took a deep breath, gathered his strength in his right arm, and launched a storm-like attack, hitting the wall hundreds of times in one breath.
“You can stop now.”

9527’s voice rang out. “Your fist power is 100,000 times that of an ordinary Class 6 planetary life form, which means your strength index is 100,000!”
“It is slightly lower than the million-power index of the Flame Astral Behemoth, but it is still much stronger than the ordinary life form!”
“One hundred thousand?”
Ling Jiu was extremely excited. 100,000 was a very terrifying number.
The power index of the Flame Astral Behemoth was a million times, so the strength of the newly born Flame Astral Behemoth was a million times that of ordinary Level 10 Arcanists.
He was at 100,000 times.
That meant his power would always be 100,000 times higher than that of the Arcanists of the same level.
This figure was incredible. For comparison, the power index of Emperor Might’s Pangu Divine Ant Form was only 10,000.
“When I become a Level 9 or even Level 10 Arcanist, my power will be 100,000 times that of ordinary Level 9 and Level 10 Arcanists. I will have a crushing power over them. I will be almost invincible.”
Why was Emperor Might invincible among his peers of the same level?
That was because of the terror of power.
Brute force rules them all. Even if you have thousands of means and abilities, all that meant nothing before ten thousand times of terrifying power.
Ling Jiu’s power was 10 times more terrifying than Emperor Might’s. As long as they were in the same realm, Emperor Might was always inferior compared to him.
“This is Ultimate Physique.” Ling Jiu took a deep breath. “How do we test other attributes, 9527?”
“The primary training room has the function of testing all attributes!” said 9527.
“I got it.”
Speed.
Defenses.
Endurance.
Every aspect had been tested.
When it was completed, it had been days later. Ling Jiu was dog-tired when he emerged from the primary training room.
But at least the results were gratifying.
Speed index…100,000.
Defense index…100,000.
Physical strength index…100,000.
There were also other indexes such as agility, self-healing, eyesight, hearing, smell, and night vision—all of which were at 100,000.
“That is terrific.
“Hirano Hatake’s Super Physique has attribute indexes of 10!
“Hao Shuai’s Super Physique has attribute indexes of 100.
“And mine is 100,000.
“This is the real Super Physique.”
“You are a Sixth Order planetary life form, but your physique is comparable to a Ninth Order planetary life form, and even stronger than most non-strength-type, Ninth Order planetary-order life forms,” said 9527.
“I am already so strong, comparable to a Level 9 Arcanist? Wow, we are talking about the Ultimate Arcanist here!”
…
Back on Earth, Ling Jiu’s cell phone was ringing like mad when he switched it back on. There were hundreds of missed calls and dozens of unread text messages.

“How long have I been away?”
Ling Jiu got the shock of his life when he glanced at the date: June 5th. He had been away for a full week.
“Shit! A physical fitness test took so long?”
Ling Jiu grumbled as he looked at the missed calls, most of which were calls from his parents and sisters, and a few from Li Kai, as well as from the camp commandant.
Ling Jiu first returned a call to his parents and got a good scolding from them. After that, he dialed the camp commandant’s number. “Sir, did you look for me?”
“Where the hell have you been these days, Ling Jiu?” the camp commandant asked with a frown.
“I have been practicing self-cultivation on Pandora,” Ling Jiu replied. “I lost track of the time.”
“Pandora? All right.” The camp commandant had nothing else to say.
The dimensional passage leading to Pandora had been blocked, but Ling Jiu possessed Dimensional Arcana. Nothing could stop him from going to Pandora.
Besides, he could go as many times as he wanted since there was nothing in Pandora, anyway.
“Your application for the Ultimate Matriculation Camp has been approved,” the camp commandant explained. “People over there want to know when you will go over so they will send someone to pick you up.”
“It has been approved?” Ling Jiu was taken aback. “I can depart at any time. Screw it, let’s make it the day after tomorrow.”
“The day after tomorrow? Are you sure?”
“As sure as an egg is an egg.”
2
“The day after tomorrow then,” The camp commandant said. “Wait at home in the morning on that day as someone will take you to the Ultimate Matriculation Camp. Understand?”
“Understood.”
Ling Jiu nodded slightly. “Where is the Ultimate matriculation Camp, Sir? Why does someone have to come to pick me up?”
“That’s because the Ultimate Matriculation Camp is not on Earth.” The camp commandant hung up.
“Not on Earth?”
Ling Jiu cocked an eyebrow. Not that he was surprised. There were 11 stable dimensional passages on Earth. It was twelve if counting in that one leading to Pandora.
Twelve dimensional passages…
That meant they led to 12 planets or galaxies. As a place to train the Ultimate Arcanist, the Ultimate Matriculation Camp not on Earth was understandable.
“I have got to go home tonight before departing to the Ultimate matriculation Camp the day after tomorrow.”
With this thought in mind, Ling Jiu looked at Celeste again. “I am leaving the Australian mainland, Celeste. Do you plan to stay in Australia?”
“I am thinking of following you.”
Celeste said. “staying in Australia is boring. I want to go to the human world with you. Besides, I don’t want to be separated from you.”
“Very well then.”
Ling Jiu smiled and released the airship. The problem now was, Celeste was 10 meters long, and the airship could barely accommodate it.
Celeste seemed to read Ling Jiu’s mind. It quickly shrank, and in the blink of an eye, its body became on-meter just like before.
This stunned Ling Jiu. “You can manipulate your body shape freely, Celeste?”
“It is my ability,” Celeste said. “I can make any object smaller, including myself!”
“You do?”
It was a surprise. Ling Jiu couldn’t help thinking of a superhero movie he had seen in his previous life. In that movie, the protagonist could shrink objects.
“How small can you shrink things?”
“I don’t know.”
Celeste tilted its head. As it looked at a millstone-sized rock in the distance, the rock shrank to become the size of a fist in an instant.
“That ratio is at least 1 to 1000, I guess?”
It shocked Ling Jiu to see that. “That means you shrink objects to one-thousandth of their original size? Amazing!”
…
Upon returning home with Celeste, Ling Jiu got another round of good scolding from his dad and mom because of his week-long disappearance for no reason.
1
What could Ling Jiu do? He could only eat crow and promise that similar things would not happen again. Only then his parents finally let him off.
1
That night, his parents had prepared a scrumptious dinner for the entire family to enjoy.
“Could you please give me the address of Ling-er’s mother in a moment? I plan to visit her with your dad tomorrow.” Yang Su fetched Ling Jiu a dish. “She raised Ling-er and is our benefactor. We have got to thank her.”
“Absolutely. I’ll send you the address in a while.” Ling Jiu nodded. “There is one more thing I need to tell you all. I will enter the Ultimate Matriculation Camp the day after tomorrow. I won’t be able to return home anytime soon.”
“So fast?”
Ling Tianci frowned. They knew that Ling Jiu was going to the Ultimate Matriculation Camp a long time ago, but he did not expect the day would come so soon.
“It’s been almost two months since I last submitted the application. This is considered quite slow.”
Ling Jiu took a mouthful of rice.
“How often can you come home?” Yang Su asked with concern.
“I don’t know.” Ling Jiu shook his head. “But I heard that the Ultimate Matriculation Camp is not on Earth. Coming back would not be so easy.”
“Not on Earth?” Yang Su frowned. “Will it be dangerous?”
“There will be dangers!” Ling Jiu let out a confident smile. “But don’t worry, I am confident that I can handle them all. By the way, you all have got to take good care of yourself when I am not around. You all can go hunting the Direbeasts in the wilderness, but not in the dangerous areas!”
The next day, Ling Jiu stayed with his family until the morning of June 7 when a maglev airship came over the villa.

Fate Overcharge (Stalled)
Rin Tohsaka, the young genious magus who, using the power of the holy grail, built an empire spanning the whole world, decides to use the power of the second sorcery to expand her empire to other realms and... Ehm, sorry, wrong story. Err, alright, starting again... Rin Tohsaka is the current head of the Tohsaka family and a likely master in the upcoming fifth grail war. She doesn't have a wish she wants granted, but she will fight to win. For if there is a battle to be fought, could a Tohsaka settle for any less than a complete victory? This is a fan fiction for the Fate/StayNight and an alternative rendition of the fifth grail war that introduces new characters, and shows never before seen sides of the old ones. Since this is a fan fiction, knowledge of the original works is needed to understand it. Watching stay/night or zero should be sufficient, but reading both works along with Hollow Ataraxia is recommended for not missing any details. (I won't assume the readers have read Hollow A.) - Warning: Tagged Mature(+15) mainly for violence and strong language. Nothing graphic, and still a lot milder than the original Visual Novel - Note1: I am trying to improve so constructive critisizm and random comments are welcome. Note2: Be warned! Update rate will likely be slow. How slow, I can't say. Note3: I don't consider any side works in the franchise as cannon. So if, for some reason, Nero is summoned, do not riot when he turns out to be a burly, hairy caster. (That won't happen!)
