My Special Ability is Perfect Replication Chapter 201

Chapter 201: 201
“This is…”
Ling Jiu and Bai Ya’s eyes widened as a massive cave appeared before them.
But the cave was filled with various furnishings, including strange-looking beds, tables, chairs, and clothes made out of bizarre scales.
Everything in it was completely different from the style back on Earth. This was obviously used by the humanoid creature named Mosal the Pioneer.
In addition, what attracted the two the most was a ball with a diameter about 4 meters placed on the left side of the cave.
It was made out a special alloy, with a round transparent glass in the middle, looking somewhat similar to the spherical spaceships Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz rode to Earth in the Dragon Ball anime.
Ling Jiu walked to the front of the sphere and ignored the outer wall as he entered its interior.
The interior layout was very simple, a panel with a simple keyboard, and a bow-shaped reclining chair. Aside from those, there was nothing left.
“Is that really a spaceship?”
Ling Jiu murmured for a moment before waving his hand and putting the sphere into his Dimensional Ring as he planned to let 9527 take a look at it later.
“Ling Jiu, come here. What is this?” Bai Ya suddenly called for him.
Ling Jiu turned his head and saw Bai Ya staring at something similar to an incubator. Through the transparent outer wall, they saw a fat and white, giant maggot lying quietly inside it.
It was indeed similar to a white maggot dug out from the ground, but it was much larger and fatter at more than two meters long. Aside from that, there was nothing special about it.
“What is this? Is it the child of that humanoid creature?”
Ling Jiu was puzzled, and he used the Arcana Replication to sense the Arcana information of the big white maggot. The results that came out shocked him.
Name: Grumble
Race: Void Worm
Arcana: Space Devourer (Awakened), Dimensional Barrier (Awakened), Wormhole Creation (Awakened)
“Space Devourer?”
“Dimensional Barrier?”
“Wormhole Creation?”
Ling Jiu was astonished. “There’s such a lifeform? Are you kidding me?”
In Ling Jiu’s imagination, wormholes were ‘space tunnels’ that exist in the universe, or were naturally created from the universe’s evolution.
They could also be creation from civilization like the Emessians who had created the peak of technology and had great expertise in the domain of space.
Or, maybe, they were creation of a terrifying being who had cultivated to an extremely powerful level!
But Ling Jiu could never have imagined that a seemingly ordinary-looking bug could create a wormhole, and that simply subverted what Ling Jiu had known.
Of course, after Ling Jiu was shocked for a moment, what followed was excitement! This bug had the Arcana to create wormholes, and he could replicate it!
Although he had mastered the Dimension Arcana, he could only at most create tiny space tunnels.
To create wormholes between planets and galaxies was simply just a pipedream.

He might be able to pull that off in the future, but for now, it was nothing but a dream.
So, if he replicated the ability to create wormholes…
The picture was so beautiful that Ling Jiu dared not imagine it!
“Let’s take it with us!”
Ling Jiu waved his hand and put the incubator containing the giant void worm into his ring, and he planned to look for 9527 to study it later.
Finally, Ling Jiu could not help but to look at a large rock of glass that stood at the innermost part of the cave.
Let’s call it a glass for now.
Because it really did look like a layer of glass.
It was transparent as it hung silently in the innermost part of the cave, and on the opposite side of the glass was a world full of water.
It had separated the water world from this cave, dividing them into the world on this side, and the world on the otherside.
From where Ling Jiu was standing, it looked like a fish tank, or an aquarium where he could enjoy view of water, fishes, dolphins, mermaids through the thick glass wall…
In all, this was a very amazing layer of glass!
Ling Jiu stretched his hand out and carefully touched the layer of glass. And the result was… the glass actually rippled before his hand passed through, just like how he walked through the mountain wall earlier.
“This is also a… barrier?”
Ling Jiu looked at Bai Ya, as the both of them had an incredulous expression on their faces.
After that, Ling Jiu pulled his hand back and found that his hand was wet.
“What’s beyond the barrier… is actually water?”
Bai Ya also stretched her hand in, and carefully perceived for a moment before saying slowly. “The water temperature is not low, but the water pressure should be very scary.”
Bai Ya took out a device from her Dimensional Pocket to detect pressure and put it into the world opposite the ‘glass’, and soon, the results came back.
But it left Bai Ya speechless.
“What’s wrong?”
Ling Jiu asked.
“The water on the opposite side… it’s very deep!”
Bai Ya took a deep breath. “If the water pressure sensor is not wrong, then the water on the other side is almost 100 kilometers deep!”
“100…100 kilometers?”
Ling Jiu shuddered. “You gotta be kidding? How is there a water so deep?”
It was not that Ling Jiu was kicking up a fuss, but the water level was really just too deep.
The average ocean depth was about 3,795 meters, and the deepest Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean was 11,034 meters deep.
3,795m = 3.795 km.
11034m = 11.034 km.
3 kilometers!
11 kilometers!
100 kilometers!
There was no comparison at all!
“I don’t know!”
Bai Ya shook her head slightly “But the water pressure sensor will not lie.”

Ling Jiu could not help but to gasp. “That is to say, the world beyond this barrier is an aquatic world that has a hundred kilometer deep ocean?”
“It’s very possible.”
Bai Ya’s voice was calm.
“If that’s the case, it’ll be very incredible.”
Ling Jiu’s shock was even more amplified, and could only say something after a long while. “Bai Ya, we may have very well run into a massive discovery!”
“If what’s opposite this glass is a planet, that means this planet has a ocean that is at least 100 kilometers deep!”
Bai Ya gasped. “I cannot imagine at all what sort of world that planet would be!”
“How about… we go and have a look?”
Ling Jiu licked his lips.
“That’s… a bad idea, no?”
Bai Ya was a little hesitant. “We know nothing of the world on the opposite side. If there is some incomparably scary monsters there, won’t barging in like this means our death? Also, the ocean there is vast, if we get lost…”
The unknown was always scary!
Especially when the opposite side was an incredibly deep ocean world!
“There’s no worry about getting lost. I’ve left a Dimensional Marker here, as long as we do not stray too far away, I can sense it.”
Ling Jiu laughed. “The only fear is there are lifeforms stronger than level 10, and that will be an headache.”
“Let’s leave.”
Bai Ya shook her head. “Let’s report everything here back to the camp and leave the exploration to them. Better not risk ourselves.”
“There’s no need to rush to report it first!”
Ling Jiu smiled. “At least until I’ve explored the place!”
“Are you really going in?”
Bai Ya raised her eyebrows as she quietly bit her lips for a while before lowering her head to say. “There may be danger in it, I-I-I don’t want you to go in!”
“You’re worried about me?”
Ling Jiu smiled and looked at Bai Ya.
“W-W-Who is worried about you!”
Bai Ya was blushing up to her ears. “Don’t think too much! I was just… was just…”
“Don’t need to explain, I understand!”
Ling Jiu sniggered as he suddenly stretched his arms out to carry Bai Ya before jumping headlong into the ‘glass’.
“AH—!!”
Bai Ya screamed and then went into the ocean world on the opposite side with Ling Jiu.
*BAAAMMM!!*
A terrifying pressure squeezed his body and thankfully Ling Jiu reacted in a timely manner as he formed a dimensional barrier using his Dimension Arcana, isolating them from the frenzied pressure of the sea water and protecting the two.
“Ling Jiu, what are you doing?”
Bai Ya glared at Ling Jiu.
“Heh!”
Ling Jiu smirked. “You actually wanted to explore this world, right?”
“I…”
Bai Ya took a deep breath in. Everyone had a thirst for knowledge, and she was certainly no exception, not to mention there was a 100 kilometer deep ocean world.
She of course wanted to explore it.
“If you want to, then come with me!”
Ling Jiu smiled and then turned around. As this was the deep sea, everything was dark, a complete world in darkness.
There was no sky above.
No land beneath.
No sunlight.
No references.
Nor could he see his own five fingers.
The most outrageous thing was:
The planet’s gravity seemed to be very miniscule, and the buoyancy of the sea water had completely offset it,. Therefore, any ordinary person coming here would definitely get lost!
Should he swim upwards or downwards?
It was not an exaggeration to say that this was like outer space with no concept of top, bottom, front or back. Anyone in this spot would certainly get lost.
But this did not faze Ling Jiu, after carefully sensing the fluctuation of space, he took Bai Ya as they darted all the way to the ocean above.
Ten minutes later, the two came to the surface of the ocean, and by normal logic, they should be able to see the sky once they were at the ocean’s surface.
But this was…
This was completely not the case at all!
A hard layer of material appeared above his head, and Ling Jiu observed for a moment and instantly knew that it was ice. The surface of the ocean was covered with a thick layer of ice.
What does this mean?
“This means, that this planet is either very cold, or we are at one of the polar points of the planet.” Bai Ya said slowly.
“Yeah, that.”
Ling Jiu nodded and continued upwards. The Dimension Arcana was handy as he did not need to cut through the ice and simply just went through it.
As they went all the way upwards, it took about ten minutes for them to successfully pierced through the ice layer, and came to the world above the ice.
“The thickness of that ice is at least 20-30 kilometers!”
Ling Jiu marveled at it before taking Bai Ya together with him onto the ice.
As he looked over, the place was almost all covered in ice, and the surface was equally flat, like an completely endless ice field.
But there were no snow on the ice, not a single drop of snow, but the surface of the ice field was covered in a thin layer of pale yellow material.
Ling Jiu gave it a taste, and it was salty with a bit of bitterness, seemingly some sort of salt-like substance.
At the same time, there were numerous cracks on the ice field. This was not surprising as any ice field would be covered in cracks.
He then looked at the sky again.
The sky was dark, just like the nights back on Earth on the fifteen to sixteenth day of the solar calendar, where the moon was full.
“Ling Jiu, look over there!”
Bai Ya suddenly exclaimed.
Ling Jiu looked up and saw a huge ‘moon’ hanging across the skyline with dark alternating red, brown, white colours across it.
The most eye-catching thing was that the giant moon had a bright red spot on its surface.
“This is…”

Everyone is a Superhero! Apart from me
Welcome to Loktharma, where everybody is a superhero from birth. That makes Eugene De Lavet the most special of them all. At eighteen years old, he still has no clue what his superpower is. Loktharma has never been a fair world. There are Worldbreakers who were born to brandish the power of the universe, warp time-space, destroy lands and continents. There are Craftmasters who control the elements and terrorize countries with their might and wits. There are Commoners who are only gifted with power for the finer arts, architecture, military arts, or small-scale elemental manipulation. Even in an unjust world like Loktharma, there is always one constant: everyone is assigned a Flair since birth; the power to do something extraordinary. And then there's Eugene. He's been running around in a secluded forest since birth, training and sparring his ass off. While he can wield a blade better than most at his age, he certainly can't throw a giant boulder using the power of his mind, or turn his skin into diamonds. He has no Flair, no purpose for leveling up his stats, and no idea why General Rizeni Baggardo keeps him confined inside a forest for eighteen years. At least until Lord Pyro—the Craftmaster of Tailiah—unleashes his fury on the forest, searching for a treasure Eugene doesn't even know exists. On a frantic escape for his life, Eugene starts to realize he was a part of something he's been completely oblivious to until now. Along with his companions, Melodi and Azra, he travels the land and unveils the secrets of the world. [The story will be told primarily through the lenses of three main characters, with occasional side character POV chapters. It also draws inspiration from Japanese shounen. So only proceed if you're cool with these aspects.]

This concept of the book came about from having two mild heart attacks and the regrets of not being more active in my younger life. Note: The cover of the book is from a painting of Richard the Lionheart at the Battle of Arsuf (1191) during the Third Crusade where he defeated Saladin. Painting by Gustave Doré (19th century).
