Julian grabbed Ju-Heon by the collar and Jaeha said something to calm him down .

Julian was crying internally as he let go . Ju-Heon couldn’t bear to keep watching and agreed with Julian .

Julian became anxious .

It was because Ilya was in charge of the tomb raiding team’s information gathering but also its torturing .

Pulling out information from captured enemies using any methods necessary was his job .

That using any methods necessary was what Julian was worried about since he knew Ilya’s personality .

It didn’t mean that Ilya would use violence against her, but his specialty was mental attacks and torture using his devils and spell books .

It was a peculiar scar that would not be common . That was the reason it had been so memorable .

Julian turned completely pale after hearing that .

He was about to grab Ju-Heon and ask him to let him at least watch what happened to Nina if he promised he wouldn’t do anything .

Ilya lightly chuckled and started to put on a black pair of leather gloves .

“Don’t worry too much . The Captain saying all this is actually telling me not to overdo it . ”

Nina was huffing while being questioned by Ilya .

“Then Nina, it really is Nina?”

Julian stumbled and sat down on the chair .

He had wondered if it was real but Nina truly was Jack the Ripper .

“Then why does she not remember me?”

That meant that TKBM or the Monarch of Healing had erased her memories .

Ju-Heon answered that question for him .

“The scar on the back of her neck… It’s quite a headache . ”

Ilya drew something on a piece of paper and handed it to them .

“This is what the artifact looked like . They used this artifact to modify Nina into a human weapon who cannot feel pain or guilt . ”

Ilya gave an answer that seemed to explain the reason .

That was the suspicious item with Pandora’s Executive Board that they didn’t know about . Was that why he didn’t know about this artifact?

As he had that thought… Julian jumped up as he was unable to hold back his anger .

Julian grabbed the back of his neck .

Ju-Heon sighed .

“Kongming, you ended up Chairman Kwon’s slave in the past because he agreed to help you find your sister, right?”

“Yes . Nobody was able to find her until you found her 10 years later……”

“No . TKBM wasn’t looking for her back then either . ”

“I looked at those shitty TKBM bastards’ search records and started looking for her myself after seeing that they were only looking for her in weird places . ”

“He was shamelessly using her as Jack the Ripper while lying to your face . TKBM was the one who used Jack the Ripper for 10 years after all . ”

Julian started to foam at the mouth .

“If you think about it, Jack the Ripper’s appearances dwindled down once I found your sister for you . They probably stopped using her as much because they were worried that you would find out . ”

Julian was about to faint . A thunderbolt flashed inside the room because of his anger .

Seol-A, Irene, and even the rope tightly hugged Ju-Heon after being scared by it .

Julian looked extremely angry .

“Those bastards pulled that crap in the past and are doing the same thing now……!”

Ju-Heon said something to Julian who was huffing in anger .

“The cost of everything you destroyed is coming out of your paycheck . ”
