Everyone sat down after the chaos began to compose itself. Yu Qi silently sat beside her grandfather. She did not speak a word after Madam Jiang called her 'Bastard Child'. Those words really triggered her deep emotions.

Grandpa Tang was worried when he saw Yu Qi became silent. He knew Yu Qi has been affected by those words. Yu Qi has told him about how she had been adopted to the Wang Family and how she was living after all the years. Grandpa Tang reached her hand and held it tightly, comforting her silently.

Yu Qi turned to Grandpa Tang, while Grandpa Tang showed his proud smirk at her.

Seeing him like this, Yu Qi slightly felt warm inside her heart. She should not feel anything when people say something like that, because she knew what had happened.

"Sir, please hurry up and solve my case. Don't we already know who was responsible for this? They just need to pay compensation for all of my losses." Madam Jiang said, glaring daggers at Yu Qi.

Actually, she did not want to stay here any longer after the fear she felt just now, she just wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. But she did not want to go home without getting any compensations. After all, she heard from Madam Wang that Yu Qi was loaded with money now.

Even the old man that she lived with was rich. She was sure they did not want to tarnish Yu Qi's reputations. It will ruin a young girl, who had been called as a thief. No one would want to marry her after this chaos.

"I'm sorry. I will not pay for anything because I'm not guilty," Yu Qi said, without any hint of guilt in her voice.

"You...You were the one who stole my crop and destroys my farm."

"Then, please give your evidence to the police. If you can provide the evidence that states I was the one who did this, I will gladly pay you compensation." Yu Qi said in a firm tone.

She postured her sitting position like a queen, looking down on the peasants. She sneered when she looked at Madam Jiang, Yu Qi was totally looking down at Madam Jiang.

Grandpa Tang smiled, feeling thrilled when he saw Yu Qi's attitude. Grandpa Tang felt it was okay to look down on someone like this woman.

A woman who just accused people without any evidence.

Madam Jiang was grinding her teeth, when she heard Yu Qi. Of course, she did not have any evidence.

How would she have any evidence? She heard from Wang Ha Na that Yu Qi was selling vegetables to the Chang shop. Hence, she just assumed that this girl was the one who stole from her farm.

"From what my subordinates' investigation, Madam Jiang, your farm grew some vegetables like onions, garlic, leek, shallot, chives, cauliflower, cabbage, brussels sprouts, and broccoli. Is it right?"

The person in charge of this case was Sir Man Pao Ting, he asked for confirmation from Madam Jiang.

"Yes, that right." Madam Jiang gave her confirmation.

"Oit, did you get the list of vegetables that Miss Yu Qi sold to the shop?" Sir Man Pao Ting whispered to his subordinates beside him.

"It should be done right now. They will give you when they arrive." The subordinates answered.

"Please wait for a moment. My subordinates are currently working on this case. They are on the way back from the shop that Miss Yu Qi sold the vegetables." Sir Man Pao Ting said to calm the rowdy people here.

After fifteen minutes of waiting, his subordinates arrived at the police station, they gave the information that they got from the shop to their superior, they also brought back the owner of the shop, Aunt Chang.

Sir Man Pao Ting reviewed the information that he got in a flash. he nodded several times, then he looked up at the group of people.

"From the information that we got from the shop; Miss Yu Qi had sold many types of vegetables. There were butterbur stalks, butterbur buds, ostrich fern, flowering rapeseed, spring chrysanthemum, bamboo shoots, mountain asparagus and many types of mushroom such as white button mushroom, brown mushroom, open cap mushroom, Chinese black mushroom, clamshell mushroom, hedgehog mushroom, and king brown mushroom." Sir Man Pao Ting paused for a moment to breathe and then continued.

"From this information, there are no vegetables from your farm in the list of vegetables that Miss Yu Qi sold to the shop. This can be concluded that Miss Yu Qi was not the one who did that to your farm, Madam Jiang."

"Humph, maybe that Chang Moon Ju was her accomplice." Madam Jiang retorted, she just did not want to give up on the easy money that she could obtain from Yu Qi.

"Jiang Sung Wa, you better mind your word. I swear to god that I have provided genuine information to the police." Aunt Chang said to the Madam Jiang.

"Enough! This information is sufficient enough to prove that Miss Yu Qi is not guilty. We will be looking for new information for this case. Madam Jiang, you have to wait first. As for, Miss Yu Qi, Elder Tang, and Madam Chang, you all can go back to your houses. If you have some information for this case, please let me know about it." Sir Man Pao Ting said and bows a little to them.
