Chapter 3 – Escape Plan

The crusade of police cars surrounding the bank soon came into view. There was a limited view to the inside of the bank, but the police were sure that the robbers had firearms. 

There was a crowd of civilians whose curiosity overtook them and decided to stay around the bank. If not for her amazing self control, Xiao Daiyu would have yelled at them for seeking their own death.

There was a robbery going on. With hostages. And firearms. 

Yet they decided to stay and watch from the sidelines?!?

The officer who was driving got out of the car while officer Gu looked back at Xiao Daiyu.

“You… Little girl don’t touch anything, alright? Don’t try getting out of the car, even if you are bored, it’s very dangerous-“

So you know it’s dangerous…

” Officer Gu! ” The hot headed officer shouted, startling officer Gu.

“Don’tdoanythingjustsatyhereandwe’llfindyourparentslater,” he rushed to day as he got out of the car and closed the door.

Xiao Daiyu looked at them blankly and the corner of her lips couldn’t help but twitch.

Did they think she was stupid? Since the suspects have firearms, staying in the car would do nothing unless their car is bulletproof. But did the police even have enough funds for that?

If nothing happened to her in the car, there would be no problem. But if things went awry, who could she cry to?

The pitiful officers were unknowingly labelled as idiots by the special agent who had forgotten she was now a 5-year-old kid…

As for officer Gu, she remembered his surname and face. 

Xiao Daiyu promised to pay him back in the future, but for now, exiting the stage and not burdening them was the best choice.

The police officers were too busy discussing a plan of action and surrounding all possible exits for the robbers to notice the child sneaking around. 

Thankfully, the car she was in was all the way in the back, so as long she didn’t make any big movements, she could sneak out unseen. 

That’s right, she never planned to stay still in the car the moment she heard that the suspects had firearms.

With a small body like hers, forget about self-defense, she would be lucky if she weren’t carried away like a kitten or used as a hostage.

With a small plan in mind, her hand carefully made its way to the lock of the door while observing where the few dozens of officers were at and where their focus was.

But no one noticed ab black Rolls-Royce parked just across the road.

“Uncle, father will scold you if you keep watching. He said amateurs like them can’t take on Blood Sucking Vendetta’s people. ” A youth around 7-8 years old sat alone in the backseat holding his phone as he read the text to the person in the driver’s seat.

His face was exquisite, it was clear that the young boy would definitely grow up to have a jealousy-inducing face among men in the future.

The person in the driver’s seat only chuckled as he stared at a certain direction and said “look” pointing his chin to a police car with a little radish popping out of nowhere.
