Any player would usually gain 10 stat points after a level up and would have all four of their main stats increased by 1 but that wasn't the case for Night anymore.

before he could properly react, he first had to confirm something, just as he was about to check his character information, another notification popped, making him question his 'cursed' existence.

You'd expect Night to quit the game and cry for a good while before logging back and continuing, however, Night(Luke)lived with his horrible luck all his life, despite the situation being this extreme he moved on to check his character info.

He was pretty taken aback when he saw his character information, obviously, he was disgusted by his current stats and didn't even bother to think about the last option in the info tab, and weirdly enough, he swore he saw a smiley face next to 'cursed'.

He looked around to realize he was in the beginners' zone called the Kingdom of Aeternum, all around him players rushed to take quests or grind mobs.

Night was the kind of player who no matter the disadvantages had a blaze in him that pushed him to be the best at what he enjoys, in fact, the harder it is the more he enjoys the suffering and pain, not that he finds pleasure in it but mainly because it acts as an obstacle worthy of him. At least, that's how he felt.

He slowly moved to the middle of the kingdom in search of quests before he could head off and hunt mobs.

Every class was given a specific weapon at the start, however, people who were able to pick the Grand Master class had all of the major weapons given to them. Night could think of how to use all his weapons together but one, why did he have a staff? Grand Masters couldn't use any major DPS or SUPPORT spells, he couldn't think of an answer no matter how much he thought about it, of course, he was aware that after the first ascension he could learn spells that were meant for mages but that was only after the first ascension, giving him the staff at level 1 was the same as giving a toddler a cycle and expecting it to ride it.

He decided it wasn't worth the time or the effort and approached an NPC who for some reason was avoided by all the other players.

"Hello, do you have anything you need?" Night asked

"Beat it punk, what could a lil' weasel like you even do?"Robert said

Night had a very confused expression at first but soon he realized the reason why nobody approached this old man, however, that shouldn't be enough to drive away some people so Night asked him again, hoping the old man would change his tone.

"Hey Oldman, you have no idea what I can do, if u don't have anything to ask then just say so, "Night said with a not-very-threatening tone.

"Eh? what'd you say you lil' punk, who you calling 'old man'???" Robert screamed while pulling Night by his collar.

Night was a rather calm person and doesn't usually get mad but the one thing he absolutely despises is people grabbing his collar.

With a cold look and eyes that wore a dead expression, he said,

"Oy old man, let go", seeing his ice-cold expression Robert stepped back and let go of Night,

"Tch get outta here kid."

Night just casually walked away and went straight to the Hunting zone, he needed something to cool him down, and killing mobs would do just that, little did he know how wrong he was.

As Robert saw Night walk away he found something about him that sent shivers down his spine but somehow it felt familiar.

In the zone, he saw numerous players all hunting boars which ranged from Lvl 1-10 that had around 100 Hp, and according to Night's calculations that would be around 20-25 hits, once he found an isolated boar he began his hunt!

He equipped his bow and looked for his arrows but when he couldn't find them, he was confused, almost as if the system could read his mind, a thought to fire the bow regardless of whether he possessed arrows or not passed through his mind,

He pulled the string and could feel energy leave his body and enter the bow, when he released the string, an arrow made of energy was shot out hitting the boar's

body.

Quickly he switched to his spear when he saw that the boar was preparing to charge at him, since there were no cooldowns while switching weapons, he realized how to fully exploit his class, he thrust his spear and watched as it slightly grazed the boar which was now confused due to his quick succession of attacks.

The boar continued to run towards him. He was sure that if he was hit even once he'd die, to the boar's surprise he smiled and jumped above it while rotating in the air as he switched to his sword, cutting at the boar while dealing damage again.

Before he could land, he switched to his daggers and charged at the boar slicing at it twice, not even letting it turn around. His battle with the boar went on for another 2 minutes by the end of which he was sweating and on the ground.

The players around him wore a confused expression, looking at their faces, Night thought it was obvious after the technique and control he just displayed, however, little did he know that it was because players needed only 10 seconds to kill a boar as it died in 4-6 hits and they were calling him a clown for taking that long.

'Hah, surprised by just this much?' Night thought with his chest puffed up.

However, Night was still satisfied with the rewards he got.

Normally a boar would give only 30 EXP but due to the curse he got 5 times that and he needed only 100 EXP to level up, however, that was obvious for he was level 0 and now that he hit level 1 he needed twice the amount.
