Before he could accept the quest he put all his available stat points into DEX.

"Accept" Night said as he got into position.
He switched up his combat style as he now equipped a sword instead of the usual bow.
Closing his eyes, he channeled his energy into the sword.
Confused as to what Night was doing the 'Caduceus' stood with 'their' head tilted.
The reanimated boar boss now charged Night and just before it was barely 5m away Night sliced and an energy arc that looked like a crescent moon flew right into the boss.
-20
However as if the boar felt no pain, it continued to charge towards Night.
The boar used its skill TuskRush which Night almost fully dodged, however, he felt a howling pain in his thigh.
-50
Few more of those and Night would be done for, even after he dodged and only barely got hit, the skill took away 50Hp from him.
He then sliced twice and two energy blades flew into the side of the boss.
-25,-25
Night realized this might take him more than 15mins and even then he felt he would barely live. He smiled, as long as there was even the slightest chance there was no way he was giving up.
Night then equipped his spear. With a spear in one hand and a sword in the other, he began to think of his next attack plan. Usually, even if one could, nobody would want to double equip a spear and a sword, no matter how bad the situation equipping two weapons that weren't compatible would make the situation worse. The 'spear' was meant to be used from a distance and the 'sword' was a balanced weapon that was used in close combat. The length of the general 'spear' was nearly twice of a sword and freely using it required using both hands, for enough force to be generated from any stance using only one hand would make it quite difficult, especially with another weapon that could possibly interrupt.

However, Night charged the boss, and right before he got within the striking zone he threw the spear and simultaneously charged with his sword.
The boar using its tusks knocked it aside like it was nothing and charged Night.
As if predicting this he jumped to the side and stabbed the boar with the sword that was glowing almost as if it was full of Night's energy.
-50
Due to Armour pierce(defense break) the damage was doubled but he didn't stop there, the spear that the boar knocked into the air, he grabbed the spear and channeled more of his energy into it and used his Swissman's thrust right into the wound created by his previous attack.
-200
[Due to a 'Deep Wound' damage dealt in that area is increased]
[Wild Boar Boss inflicted with 'Deep Wound', which makes the boar lose -10Hp every 2 seconds until death or recovery of the wound]
[Wild Boar Boss is paralyzed for 6 seconds due to massive damage being dealt with a single strike]
-10
Night didn't waste any time and pulled out his daggers which were coated by his energy and stabbed both his weapons in the boar's wound.
-100,-100
As if carving the beast, Night didn't stop there, he continued slicing at it until 6 seconds had passed.
-100,-10,-100,-100,-100,-100,-10,-100,-100,-100
Night had dealt a total of 1350Hp to the boss. He needed just a few more seconds so he rushed the boar again however, the boar expected this and used TuskRush making sure this time it connects properly.
-200
He screamed out in pain as he flew back a few meters away from the boar.
'you have to be joking, I was so close!' he thought to himself.
Night had about 300 Hp left, he tried standing up but his legs just wouldn't let him. The boar got a clean shot and sent him flying.

The wound on his leg prevented him from doing anything, no matter how much he tried, he just couldn't move, in fact, he could slowly feel himself losing control of his legs,
-10
The boar completely disregarded the damage it was taking and decided to finish Night off using SuperCharge.
.
.
.
Just before the boar could reach Night. he heard a voice in his head.
"That was quite the show but I have to say I expected more, anyway just this once I'll offer you the power you need, though to be fair I've already given you enough."
A Black blade formed in Night's hands and shot itself straight into the boss's mouth causing it to explode into many bits and pieces.
-9,999,999
"Consider this a one-time thing."
As Night began to faint he heard notifications ringing,
"Get stronger my child, grow so much, and prove to everyone that you're worthy of my bloodline." the voice said before disappearing.

NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
