As the sun poured through the window, bathing the room with warm light, Brina woke up light-headed and dazed.

The effect of hangover is slightly lingering in her body, and her headache made it worse. All she wanted now is to sleep however, she has many errands to run today.

Above all, she wanted to escape this cruise and search for a job for herself before Tanya could contact her to ask her about her opinion.

She vaguely remembers what happened last night.

She remembered getting kissed by a handsome man and when she reminisced about it, she couldn't help her smile.

It felt really special and she really enjoyed it.

But getting kissed was the last thing she remembers properly. The remaining part was totally blurred with vague images.

However, no one could blame her. After sharing that mind blowing kiss and drinking one of the powerful wines, Brina's mind went haywire that she couldn't think straight.

She actually kissed a stranger!!

She was never like this! She barely let others get close to her… let alone, kiss her.

And, she has never let her guards down, especially in front of a stranger. However, this man, he is totally an exception!!

Brina clutched her head and groaned a little in pain. The first thing she did is to check her clothes out.

She is dressed in the same party dress and it seems like her handsome 'friend' carried her to her room and left.

'A gentleman, might be' she thought, but when she touched her lips, she could only chuckle.

He just kissed a stranger! He couldn't be a gentleman. But, wait a minute. She was an active participant too…

That doesn't mean she is not a 'gentlewoman'!

Brina couldn't help but laugh at her own antics. And, surprisingly, today is the first day she woke up with a smile on her face.

Last night felt so surreal just like a romantic movie. All those talking, drinking, and joking together about their lives, it felt like a dream to her because she always has her emotions dammed up in her heart.

And, he is the only one who succeeded in bringing down those walls and letting her emotions out. It's been years since she smiled genuinely to herself...

"Louis Cruz" Brina whispered to herself and suddenly something struck her mind.

She hastily climbed down from the bed and reached for her purse. She remembers him putting something in her purse. Although it's totally blurry and she doesn't remember what it is or from where he got it, she vaguely figured out that it was some sort of application.

However, she was so drunk that she couldn't differentiate whether it's only a dream or reality.

But, as soon as she opened her purse, the paper attracted all her attention and she couldn't help but open it anxiously.

And, as she expected, it was an application that could give her access to apply for the job in L & E corporations. All she needs is to follow the procedures.

"He really helped me. But why would he go to this great lengths to help some stranger? Did he respect my words to that extent?" Brina thought to herself and her heart started thumping fast.

She really got the chance to leave her previous company!

She couldn't help but feel grateful towards Louis.

It's not that she doesn't like working there but after her encounter with Chris and getting that promotion letter… Welcoming her to the upper circle of the company, Brina lost her interest to work there.

She felt that it is better to resign than to remain in her current company.

Brina sighed and looked back at the letter. After thinking for a while, she came to a conclusion that she will first try to get into L & E corporations and if she gets into it then she will resign from her previous post.

"Thanks Louis. I owe you one this time." she smiled and started packing her bag to get down at the next port. She decided to fill the application and send it to the company, as soon as possible.

So, she got ready hurriedly and then started filling up the application.

they would be arriving at the next port in a few minutes and the employees will be getting down at this port while the executives, rich families, and directors of the company will continue the sail till the evening.

Louis Cruz aka Edward Henry Wright was standing in his balcony in the VVIP area of the cruise ship. From there, he can see the people alighting the ship.

Every one of them is an employee and they usually have to go back to work so they all left the cruise ship earlier than the others.

And, Brina Parker is one of them.

As her uncle's house is nearer, Brina decided to pay them a visit. So, she took a day off...

She was missing her grandmother very badly and her health was not good nowadays. This made her worried but her eyes didn't stop searching for her savior, 'Louis Cruz'.

She knows him as a common employee so she thought he would get down here along with others.

She is way more desperate to thank him and if possible make it up to him with a lunch treat. .

As her eyes continued searching for Louis, coincidentally, his eyes were fixated on the woman who shook his heart the previous night.

"Brina Parker, don't disappoint me." He muttered to himself thinking whether she will show up for the recruitment process or not.

He really hoped she would give it a try. Otherwise, it will become tough for him to get close to her. But, he is adamant to give this relationship a try…

She is the only person who has an impact on him.

Meanwhile, as he continued staring at her, the man cladded in black entered the room and bowed in ninety degrees.

"Speak" Louis commanded and it was only when that man started to speak.

His words are so obsequious and polite.

"Sir, Ms. Brina Parker has responded to the offer. She filled the form and her slot is fixed for tomorrow evening." he informed.

As soon as Louis heard it, his lips curved up.
