Louis Cruz spent the rest of the afternoon on the cruise with other socialites and delegates.

Though he doesn't like interacting with all these fake people, it is really inevitable to avoid them either.

So, he just showed his face to everyone and went back as soon as his chopper landed.

He directly went back to his new penthouse and as soon as he entered, he sighed seeing a certain someone sitting on his favorite chair – a girl in her crop top and denim jeans is sitting on his chair with her leg crossed over her ankle. She has a pink champagne glass in one of her hands while she has a file on her other hand.

She was twirling her chair slightly as she continued to look at the file.

Louis gritted his teeth and sighed.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have any common sense that you should not barge into others' houses when no one is present?" He asked as he yanked away the file from her hand.

With the force he exerted, the file slipped from his hand and many photos of him with Brina during the previous night fell on the floor.

As soon as Louis saw them, his eyes turned chilly and glared at the woman who just got caught red handedly while spying on him.

"What Louis? Can I not come to your house, my soon-to-be fiancé?" She asked as she was getting closer to him.

"Charlotte!" Louis seethed.

"Didn't you get the news Louis? Your parents and my parents are even discussing where to get us engaged!" She hissed in return.

"Is that so? And you are telling me this… You came all the way here and barged inside my house. Not to mention how you are spying my private life now!"

"You know that I am not interested in you right, Louis? We should do something… damn!"

"Oh, should I? Now, you are the reason why they want to engage us, you idiot! So, you must be the one to stop it."

Charlotte sighed and rolled her eyes. She smirked as soon as her eyes squinted at the photos which fell on the floor.

She bent down and took a picture which is when Louis was carrying Brina to her room in princess style.

"It seems you are now smitten to this lady. I had never seen you this intimate with anyone… Especially women. What's on your mind, Louis?!" she asked, smirking at him. .

Her eyes are still on the beautiful lady in the photo. "She is stunningly beautiful and undeniably sexy. Hmm...How do you feel about having a competition?" she asked, winking mischievously.

"You dare!" Louis shouted. "Don't you dare take a liking on my woman, Charlotte!"

"Your woman?" Charlotte asked with wide eyes. Later, her eyes started to twinkle.

"You are really serious about her, aren't you? You are in love with her!" Charlotte started squealing and in that excitement she jumped on to Louis and he couldn't do anything but hold her from falling down.

This is how their simple and pure friendship took the route of getting engaged. Their parents saw them when Charlotte jumped on to him resulting in both of them to fall into the water.

Their parents thought that their children are in love and without their consent, they decided to get these both engaged.

What no one knows is that Charlotte is not into men but into women. She is a lesbian and it is still a secret that is only known to Charlotte's twin brother, Calvin and their best friend, who is none other than Louis here.

Even her twin brother Calvin is a homo and this is also a secret between these three.

"Oh god! Louis, we have a crush on the same girl!" Charlotte squealed while Louis tried his best not to lose his balance because of her midair dance.

But, as soon as he heard those words, he mercilessly stopped himself from carrying her and she suddenly fell on the floor with a loud 'thud'.

"Idiot." Charlotte hissed as she stood up with her hands on her hips. She pouted but when she looked at his stern face and blinked her eyes adorably.

"Already possessive!" She commented as she massaged her butt.

However Louis didn't comment. Even he is surprised by this.

Calling Brina as 'my woman' without even thinking, and getting jealous when Charlotte told them that they share the same crush… These feelings are unfamiliar to him.

He was never like this.

It seems that this woman, Brina, made it into his heart.

Charlotte chuckled seeing the dazed expression on Louis' face. As much as she liked Brina, she values brotherhood between them the most.

For Louis's love she will sacrifice her crush on Brina. And, moreover, she was just teasing her best friend till now.

She can clearly see that Louis likes this Brina girl.

"Louis, will you make a move or should I make my move on our chick? Don't blame me if she falls for me alright." Charlotte teased as she licked her lips, making him jealous right away.

To make it worse, she even kissed Brina's lips on the picture. "She is surely irresistible, Louis. Truly gorgeous and sexy." She said absentmindedly, making Louis glare at her.

If glares can kill a person, Charlotte would have been cold-bloodedly murdered then and there.

He grabbed the photo from Charlotte and retrieved every photo from the floor before placing them in his study table.

"Brina will be coming for an interview tomorrow, and you, Charlotte will be going back to our country tonight. Understood?" Louis sternly said.

He would prevent his competition from getting near his girl. This Charlotte is really capable of doing whatever she desires to.

"I am not going back, Louis. Did I forget to mention that big brother sent me here to work together with you, as your personal secretary and also as the vice president?" Charlotte winked.
