"I am not going back, Louis. Did I forget to mention that big brother sent me here to work together with you, as your personal secretary and also as the vice president?" Charlotte winked.

Louis grunted his teeth and glared at Charlotte who was grinning happily.

Louis would never say no to his big brother and it's already too late for it either. She already got her appointment letter and her luggage was moved to his penthouse already.

Charlotte would be staying with Louis from now on.

"And, tomorrow I will be the one to interview our girl. So exciting, isn't it?" Charlotte teased him more.

"Don't call her 'our girl'." Louis hissed and Charlotte started laughing.

"It's going to be fun…hahaha…she doesn't even know that you are the CEO/President and I am the vice president. But we are going to pretend like employees." Charlotte chuckled.

"How thrilling," she giggled.

"I'm gonna tell this to Calvin. Let us see if he wants to join the fun." Charlotte clapped her hands and hopped back to her room which is adjacent to Louis'.

"This is going to be a huge roller coaster ride than I thought." Louis grumbled.

But he has a faint smile on his lips, evident that he likes his friends.

Next morning.

This is the first day Brina woke up alone in her flat. She and her friend Tanya had always shared the flat till now.

Now, Brina couldn't even sleep properly now! Without her friend it felt empty and desolated.

But what to do! After Tanya got engaged, yesterday, she moved in with her fiancé who is none other than the CEO of the company they work for.

From now on, she is all alone in this huge flat.

But it's okay.

It is not like she never lived alone. It is just that, she had a terrible past and the tiny snippets of it still make ghastly appearances in her terrible nightmares.

She needs someone to assure her that it's just nightmares and everything is going to be fine.

However, she has no one to do it.

'But it's okay,' Brina assured herself and got ready.

As she already took a casual leave, she wanted to attend her interview in L & E corporations.

However she got a call early in the morning from Chris who is her boss and the same person who proposed to her on the cruise ship.

"Sir." Brina greeted, firmly drawing a line between them. She already confessed that she doesn't feel anything for him. So, why give him a false hope.

As soon as Chris heard the bitterness in her voice, he couldn't help but feel as if his heart got pricked by hundreds of needles altogether.

"Brina, are you fine? I heard that you applied for a casual leave today." He asked rather worriedly.

"I am fine, sir. It's just a casual leave to spend some alone time." Brina lied.

However, Chris easily sensed that she was in fact lying. He knows her too well, after all.

"Brina, listen! If this is because of my proposal that night, I am sorry. Let's just forget about it and continue being friends and colleagues." He apologized to her.

Brina couldn't help but feel extremely guilty. He is good and sincere. However, she doesn't have any feelings for him and moreover she doesn't like the fact that he is a public figure in the business world.

She needs an unpretentious life and a better half.

"No sir, it isn't because of that night. After Tanya moved out of the house, I thought that I needed some time for myself. I have to adjust."

Chris sighed. "All right. Take care and call me if you need any help." he sighed.

'After you come back, you have to work as a PS of Tanya. That only means I will get to spend more time with you, Brina. Let's see how you will resist my charms' Chris thought as he smirked.

Moreover, Tanya and Ben Cooper (CEO) agreed to help him in that aspect.

However, he wouldn't have expected that she would resign to her job and fall for someone more charming than him.

At exactly 4pm, Brina made her way inside the 25th floor where interviews are being handled.

Cladded in black, above knee length dress she coupled it with a plaid, grey and black blazer….she looked totally professional.

The tight fit dress complemented her perfect and sexy body while the blazer gave a formal and classy look. The black three-inch heels appreciated her long and slender legs, making every employee glance at her, at least once.

Overall she is damn beautiful that she instantly became the center of attention.

Though she hated to be so, she didn't have an option but to get ready in this eye catching and attractive outfit.

She desperately needed this because she has to resign her current job and move on. She hates to work in the inner circle of the company with all those arrogant rich brats and playboys.

Meanwhile…

On the top floor of the building, Louis and Charlotte are looking intently on the computer screen.

It is because he is not yet sure if she will appear to the interview or not. If she doesn't, conducting such a huge interview is for nothing.

"Damn! She is so sexy. God, look at her slender legs and thin waist. Oh my! I think I fell in love. Love at first sight!" Charlotte started grinning and jumping making Louis glare at her.

Even he couldn't deny that she is alluring and charming in that dress. He badly wanted to meet her and hug her.

His lips are craving to taste those luscious lips again.
