Meanwhile, Tanya peeked into Brina's mobile involuntarily just like she used to do before, out of habit.

Even Chris who is standing close to Brina and Tanya peeked at the screen after seeing the incredible expression on Tanya's face.

His eyes darkened and his fists clenched.

Who is this guy calling his girl!

And, why is the ringtone so cheesy? Is Brina in love with that guy as well?

He looked at Brina as if scrutinizing her face… Searching for something that could prove him wrong.

Though Brina is surprised by the sudden strange contact in her phone, this is something that could save her from this awkward situation. So, Brina decided the play along.

Smiling shyly she held her phone close to her heart.

"Excuse me. My boyfriend is calling… He might be waiting for me." she said.

Tanya gasped and Chris looked at Brina with complicated expression.

"Boyfriend? I never knew that you have one." Tanya asked.

"Hmm…" Chris hummed, crossing his arms, waiting for an answer.

"We just patched up not too long back. There was a misunderstanding between us which made us stay away from each other for a while." Brina answered.

She sounded so genuine. Thanks to her acting skills, she is good at improvising a lie as her own story.

"Ohh! You never told." Tanya muttered, a little suspicious but not too much.

Brina smiled. "I was angry on my darling so I decided not to talk about him. It would have made me emotional."

Then, her mobile rang again making Chris sigh.

"Go and speak with him. He seems so clingy." He told, jealousy obvious in his voice.

Brina started feeling nervous but didn't let it betray her indifferent face. She thought this is wrong number and the person on other side would not call again. But to her distress, the mobile rang again...

If she take some private place to talk with her 'mysterious, strange lover's they might suspect her again. Not that she is afraid of it or care about it… But she didn't want Tanya to feel sad because of her.

Tanya is her best friend.

Someone whom Brina loves so much and would never hurt.

So, all she could do is answer the call and pray to God that nothing will go wrong.

"Baby…" A voice sounded from the other side, loud enough for Chris and Tanya to hear.

Even Brina is shocked but with that single word, Brina recognized the voice and she sighed in relief.

It's Louis.

She would have saved his number as darling.

Actually, she couldn't even remember saving his number. Or, she would have saved but in this anxiety she would have forgot on what name she would have saved his number….

But, why is he calling her baby???

Did he dailed a wrong number?? Or, does he know about the situation she is in??

If he does, how did he find it out??

But for now, they are least concerned matters. The main thing is he saved her from hurting Tanya with her actions.

He helped her escape Chris and his put a check to his pressure.

That's all she wanted now.

Smiling brightly, she composed herself quickly and talked back.

As 'she' saved his number as 'darling' she couldn't do anything but address him in the same way.

"Hi darling." she sounded so sweet and warm.

Meanwhile, when Louis heard her sweet voice, addressing him in such an intimate way, his heart fluttered and brimmed with happiness.

His eyes went crescent with jubilance and his voice involuntarily sounded husky and so manly.

When Brina left the company to resign in her old company, he assumed that a situation like this might occur. So, he ordered one of his men to follow Brina into her old company and inform him if she gets into trouble.

So, when Tanya and Chris started troubling Brina, that man started to inform Louis about each and everything that is happening via text messages.

And, this is how Louis was able to call her. As of why his number is saved as 'darling' and how a cheesy ringtone got played, Charlotte helped him with her amazing hacking skills. It didn't take much time…

"I am waiting for you, downstairs, babe. We have a date to enjoy remember?" Louis said, aloud, so that Chris could hear.

"Date?" Brina asked but instantly covered her confusion. "Yeah… Yeah. It's really sweet of you, darling… I thought you forgot." Brina chuckled, playing along very well.

But his voice made her blush. His voice is very manly and charming that butterflies tickled her stomach.

"I would never miss the chance sweetheart. I promised that I will make it up for you, right. All these years we have missed our time together and I am ready to do anything to compensate it. Come soon sweetie… I am waiting for you" he responded.

Even Louis couldn't help but feel how genuine he sounded. It was as if everything he spoke was real.

And all those cheesy nick names just rolled off his tongue as if he address her in the same way almost every day.

"Yep. I am leaving now. Ten minutes, darling." Brina spoke, loud enough for Tanya and Chris to hear.

Even she is in the same page as Louis but decided to think about it later. For now, she has to fetch her resignation approval and escape the company.

"Tanya, I will talk to you later. I will answer each and every question you have in your mind. But for now I have to rush back." Brina took the resignation approval from Tanya's hand.

Nodding her head slightly, she spoke, "Thanks for helping me and taking care of me for all these years, sir. I respect you a lot but I never saw you in such way. Please forgive me."

Sighing in relief, she escaped to the elevator as if she is a mouse running away from a cat.

Downstairs…

She is about to take a taxi but spotted Louis waiting for her. He is leaning on his 'not so costly' Ford car.

He is still dressed in his black suit as he had to rush here.

Seeing him waiting for her, made Brina almost skip a beat.

Subconsciously…

'I wouldn't regret to witness this scene everyday' the white angel sitting on Brina's shoulder spoke.

'He is too charming isn't he? I could not agree more. I can devour his body everyday.' The red devil sitting on other side agreed.

'This is the first time you conceded with me. Did sun rise in the west today?'

'Yes… you fool! But he is MINE! Off you go now.'

"Brina, hurry up. Hop inside." Louis, who is about to sit inside, said.

And, it is only when Brina came out of her trance and nodded her head. She is about to go to other side to sit but abruptly heard someone coming out of the elevator.

"Brina, what's h-" Tanya who just rushed downstairs, is about to ask something but blushed furiously.

Brina and her boyfriend are hugging very passionately.

It made her eyes almost pop out of the sockets. Blushing more furiously, Tanya escaped back into the elevator.

Phew! She never saw Brina this intimate with anyone and this is the first time. So, it made her truly shocked.

God! He looked too handsome and sexy from his back view.
