'Louis, you forgot yo-" Brina was about to tell something but as soon as she saw Charlotte.

She suddenly stopped what she wanted to say.

Surprise is written all over her face.

Louis is sleeping in Charlotte's lap while she is caressing his hair.

Brina blinked her eyes.

Not because of their position but because of Charlotte who is in Louis's house.

She didn't expect to see Charlotte there.

As soon as Charlotte heard Brina's sweet voice, she lifted her head up and it would be a lie if she claimed that she's not surprised to see her here.

"Then, I will be going first, since Louis is still asleep" she told awkwardly.

She couldn't put her fingers on what their relationship could be.

Charlotte chuckled.

"Don't you have some questions that you want to ask me? Brina?" she couldn't help but ask.

She is actually surprised when Brina didn't overreact even after seeing her boyfriend with her like this.

It could be that Brina is mature enough not to judge people without a proper conversation. Or else, it could be that she believes in Louis a lot.

"I have-" Brina is about to continue but Louis's phone starts ringing again and that made Louis wake up, startled.

"Brina?" he called out in surprise and then looked at Charlotte and their position.

'I hope she didn't misunderstood me and Charlotte' he thought to himself.

He, along with Calvin and Charlotte are best friends since the day they were born and in diapers. So he is very close to Charlotte as if she is his own sibling.

Charlotte stuck her tongue out and teased him. "I am gonna tell her all of your embarrassing childhood stories. What will you do, huh? Go to big brother Leo, crying like a child? Like how you used to do in your childhood" she teased.

Louis gritted his teeth. "It is you who used to do that, you little devil" he rebuked.

Now, Brina will tease him for sure. Later on.

Meanwhile, Brina couldn't help but let out a chuckle. Seeing them like this, she couldn't help but reminisce of her happy memories with her brother and sister-in-law.

It used to be so much fun. She also used to complain about her brother to her sister-in-law just like how Charlotte is doing now.

A faint sadness clouded her eyes but disappeared as soon as it came. How much she misses them.

Louis, who heard his favorite chuckle, smiled at Brina. Standing up, he gave her a hug and pecked on her forehead.

"I'm gonna make your favorite coffee after I finish taking this call, okay?" he said to Brina while rubbing her back affectionately.

However, he missed the sadness in her eyes which had disappeared as soon as he hugged her.

Brina smiled and nodded her head as she leaned her head on his chest.

If his and Charlotte's relationship is something that has to be hidden from her, they wouldn't be acting this way.

''I did a right thing by not overreacting" Brina thought.

"Hey, Louis. What about my favorite coffee?" Charlotte asked, pouting her lips like a duck.

"You both actually share very similar tastes" he said, still hugging Brina.

Charlotte smirked.

"See, didn't I tell you?" she teased, wiggling her eyebrows at Louis.

What she meant is, 'See, aren't we a perfect couple together? We share some similar tastes'.

Louis shook his head and went to his room to talk to his brother.

"Well, actually. I didn't really expect to see you here" Brina said.

"Louis is my childhood best friend and workout partner. We workout together mostly at evening times. But, today we have a meeting till late night, so it is not possible" Charlotte said.

"Even my brother Calvin sometimes accompanies us, but he is out of the city" she said.

"Calvin is your brother?" Brina asked.

"My twin brother to be precise" Charlotte corrected.

"Wow! Cool" Brina said.

It is still awkward between them to talk so casually with Charlotte being her boss. But, with Louis it is different. She is familiar to him even before she

met him in company.

However, with Charlotte, it is still awkward with them being boss and an employee.

"And, when you saw me and Louis like that, I noticed that you were so composed. Did he already talked about me before? Hmm?" Charlotte asked.

Brina pursed her lips. He never told her that they were childhood friends and knew each other.

He never even brought that topic!!

"Ahhh, let me guess. He didn't, right?" Charlotte spoke again and Brina nodded her head.

"Actually when I saw you both like that, you remembered me and my brother. So, I feel it's too early to judge you. And I guess, am right? No?" Brina said.

"Brina, actually I'm Louis's fiancée" Charlotte said.
