"Ahhh, let me guess. He didn't, right?" Charlotte spoke again and Brina nodded her head.

"Actually when I saw you both like that, I remembered me and my brother. So, I felt it's too early to judge you. And I guess, I am right? No? " Brina asked.

"Brina, to be frank, I'm Louis's fiancée" Charlotte said.

*Thud*

Brina's mobile slipped from her fingers and it fell down on the floor as soon as those words reached her ear.

She couldn't help but feel shattered.

Her heart is broken.

Charlotte scrutinized the expression that clouded on Brina's face.

'She really loves him, then!! But, why won't she open up to him yet? Hmm? Anyway! Great!' Charlotte thought in relief.

She just wanted to test how strong Brina's love is for Louis.

And, really, Brina did not disappoint her.

Picking up the phone from the floor, Charlotte gave it to Brina who is still in shock.

But she felt extremely guilty for troubling Brina with her words. Charlotte is more than aware of the bumpy road that is awaiting for Louis and Brina.

And, they can only withstand it, if their love is strong enough.

"But, Brina.. neither of us have such kind of feelings for each other. We treat each other just like siblings. So, I am not an obstacle for his love towards you. In fact, I am a very huge supporter of both of you" Charlotte explained.

Brina sighed as she came out of her daze. She clenched her jaw, as she tried to hide her sadness that was trying to eruptem from her heart.

"But, it doesn't change the fact that you both are engaged, Charlotte. What matters the most is approval from the parents and you have that. Don't you think that I'm the third wheel here?", Brina asked bitterly.

She turned away, deciding to leave.

Her eyes moistened and a tear slowly made its way to her red cheek.

'Why should it always happen to me? Why only me?!' Brina thought. Suddenly loathing her own life.

And, at this moment she understood one thing.

That she is already in love with Louis.

Heads over heels in love with him, in fact.

However, it's too late now.

For Brina, the approval from loved ones is the prime essence of successful marriage or any relationship.

She saw it once with her own eyes and she doesn't want to do the same mistake

"Brina, wait!" Charlotte called out as she held Brina's wrist.

"Actually, I'm a lesbian! So, technically I can't marry him. Even if I can, he will not agree. He loves you so much that he is ready to do anything for you. Moreover, our families aren't that cold hearted to stop him from marrying the girl he loves".

"All he have to do now is to introduce you to his family. And believe me, they will treat you like their own daughter. They are very friendly people. And, me and Louis will not be the first pair to break our engagement." Charlotte tried to explain.

Anxiousness written all over her face.

She doesn't want Brina to misunderstand her intentions.

"We got engaged because his parents are so anxious to know if he is a gay or not. What they don't know is that I am lesbian." Charlotte explained. And she hopefully looked at Brina.

However..

Brina is still in shock.

'Charlotte is a lesbian!?' Brina's mind can't process with the revelation of Charlotte.

And, she truly doesn't know what to say. To say that she's speechless. She is beyond shocked!

She didn't expect Charlotte to be a lesbian. She didn't even think of this possibility even in her dreams!!!!

On the other hand, Louis's family sounds so cool and understanding. Exactly like someone she always wanted in her life.

After losing her parents all she craved is parental love.

Moreover, they can't force someone into a marriage if both of the sides aren't willing to marry each other. So, there are high chances this engagement won't be successful.

"Actually, we aren't engaged. It's our parents who misunderstood our friendship and decided to tie a knot between me and Louis. We didn't change rings or did something of such sort. It's just a word agreement between our family members" Charlotte told.

"However, if any of us are in love with any other person, we are allowed to break off this marriage agreement" Charlotte explained.

'Then, could this be the reason he loved me' Brina wondered.

Charlotte of course understood Brina's thought.

"We got to know about this engagement after you and Louis had your first meeting in the cruise ship. He has already fallen in love with you by then. In fact, love at the first sight" she said giggling.

Even Brina smiled as she remembered their first meeting in cruise. Now she understood why he was so kind and loving towards her.

A love at first sight, indeed.

"So, he didn't love you just to break this engagement off. In fact, to be frank he doesn't need an excuse to break off the engagement. Our families are so lenient and understanding. One word is enough" Charlotte hastily explained.

Brina sensed how genuine and desperate Charlotte sounded.

Brina sighed.

There is no mistake from any of their side. Every family has its own complicated situation.

Brina knows it more than anyone else.

If Louis is really here to cheat on her or just to use her for his fun, he wouldn't have stopped their make out abruptly yesterday night.

He wouldn't have cared so much for her, until unless it's a true love.

"I understand. You don't have to worry" Brina said, as she smiled.

It is only when Charlotte sighed in relief.

"Thanks Brina. Otherwise, your over protective boyfriend would have killed me you know" Charlotte said and laughed.

Brina chuckled. He is a very protective man. Indeed, so protective to be accurate.

"So, tell me Brina. How do you feel about Louis? When it comes to him, he loves you with all of his heart and believe me, you are the first and only girl he ever felt this way. You are his first love" Charlotte said.

Brina smiled, her heart filling up with the warmest sensation.

She is truly so special to him. Then, he wasn't lying when he told this to her in the restaurant.

"I feel. No, I think I am in love with him too." Brina said.

But she recalled how she felt every time she was with Louis. And she still does remember the pain that invaded her heart when Charlotte claimed that she is his fiancée.

All these feelings are crystal evidence of her feelings towards him. With a blushing face. Brina said.

"I love him too" and Charlotte's face blossomed with happiness to hear that Brina also have same feelings for Louis.

'Lucky you Louis' mused Charlotte while giggling.
