Later, Louis went to the patio and started his video call with Daniel who is now in charge of attending meetings and taking care of other things.

He will have his own way of taking revenge on Nadia and Nolen.

But he will make sure that they will not find out who targeted them and why he targeted them.

"Hi Dan." Louis greeted the sleepy Daniel who just woke up because of the call.

Daniel yawned and looked at the screen, right through it. "Man, why can't you just go and cuddle my sister-in-law? How can you leave her like that at night and make a call to talk with a boring and party pooper like me?" He said brushing his own hair.

Louis smiled warmly when Daniel addressed Brina as his 'sister-in-law'. It's good that she is getting many people to support her and their relationship.

"Even, I don't want to talk to a no fun man at night instead of hugging my girlfriend to sleep. However, we have something to talk about." Louis said.

He is still addressing Brina as his girlfriend. It is because he remembers how she disapproved when Nickolas called her his wife.

So, Louis decided to propose to her first. He wants everything to go in a process so that Brina wouldn't freak out. Otherwise, he would have already called her as 'mother of my children'.

"What's that you want to talk to me about? Can't we do this in the morning, Louis." Daniel asked, yawning.

Louis chuckled but soon his face turned gloomy when he remembered the matter on his hands.

He is yet to confess the truth.

"I can't talk about everything in front of Brina. You know that I haven't told her about me yet. So, if there is something I want to talk to you about company matters it can only happen at night." Louis told.

"All right. I understand your couples problems. But this just look like a husband sneaking out to talk with his girlfriend" Daniel said, still rolling his eyes.

"Don't act too pitiful, idiot. I am not having any couple problems and I will never have. I am just afraid" Louis retaliated.

"Leave about it and telll me about what happened in the company today. Did you attend the meeting with S & S?" Louis asked.

Daniel straightened his back and attentively sat down on the bed. Then, he started narrating everything that happened in the board meetings and other client meetings.

Daniel is the shareholder too and he is like the second boss of L & E.

"And bro, guess what? Today I encountered a girl. A scary and ugly one who resembling a Gorgon!! I got hella scared man." Daniel told.

Louis laughed at his melodrama act. "And, who is that monster was terrifying enough to scared our hercules? Huh?" Louis joked.

In their friends circle, everyone call Daniel as hercules because of his 'heroic' deeds.

"A girl who named as Nadia Russell. I don't know how she managed to come to your office today. You know what, beneath her coat, she wore some ugly and exposing lingerie and shit! She right away opened her coat you know!!" He said, patting his heart, assuring that his tiny organ that it is safe now.

"Yuck!! She was such a scum I've never met in my whole life. For the first time I felt like getting beaten by Charlotte is much better than seeing that woman's disgusting body." Daniel angrily said.

Louis shook his head. Nadia is lucky that he isn't there in the office at that time.

Or else she would have become a feast to his baby 'harmless'. His new baby shark which is starving for human flesh.

"So, what did you do then? Isn't she your personal Gorgon now?" Louis joked laughing.

"I got to know that she is my sister-in-law's 'favorite' cousin. So, I have given her a promotion." Daniel chuckled.

Louis laughed. Understanding what his friend is doing here.

It will be more interesting to pull down someone into hell when they are flying in their seventh heaven, not expecting their personal Tartarus to engulf them inside.

"So, Dan, she is thinking that you took a notice about her? I am sure she will be in cloud nine, blabbering about this all over the company." Louis laughed.

"Let her be bro. Let her humiliates herself like that and when that word spreads out, I will make her know that I'm not the CEO and I don't even remember who she is. Though this isn't much, it is the least I can do for my sister-in-law." Daniel said.

"Brina will surely like her cheeky brother-in-law but don't you dare to snatch her attention from me." Louis playfully warned.

After talking with Daniel for some time, Louis attended some voice conferences and later went to bed.

He carefully wrapped his arm around Brina's waist and snuggled closer to her. Soon, he fell asleep but it was almost four in the early morning when he slept.

After two days....

One of the peaceful mornings….

Brina was the first person to wake up and she noticed Louis whose head is buried in her chest. She right away blushed when she felt his hot breath against her cleavage.

He usually has a habit of burying his face in her neck, but he was afraid that he would accidentally touch her injury.

But, seeing his exhausted face and creased forehead, she couldn't help but feel bad for him. All day, he would take care of her and accompany her and at night he would work his energy out. Next morning all again, he would wake up early and help her to change her bandages and then boil her soup.

'Let me cook for him today'. Brina thought and slowly made her way into the kitchen. She was not even allowed to step inside the kitchen because of her injuries.

Meanwhile, Louis, who is a light sleeper, woke up because of the faint sounds coming from the kitchen.

His brows scrunched up and he hurried inside the kitchen only to notice Brina who is still in her white camisole and black shorts doing her cooking.

His anger totally vanished into a thin air when he saw her happy and content face. He could see that she loves to cook for him.

He was just worried that she would hurt herself accidentally, but when he remembered the video clip Harry sent last night, he let out a chuckled.

Brina is expert in shooting, archery, knife throwing, martial arts, kickboxing and so on.

And, this is just a merely kitchen knife!! What harm will it do to her?

Nevertheless, Louis is still worried but he didn't want to burst her happy bubbles. Chuckling on his way, he went inside and freshened up. Later, he turned on the TV and went into the kitchen.

He hugged her from behind and kissed her ear. "I want my morning kiss." he demanded.

Brina chuckled and turned around. She wrapped her arms around his neck and she was about to kiss him, but suddenly she froze.

On the TV, the channel which they have seen last night is being shown. However, what made her freeze is the person who is being interviewed.

Her ex fiancé.
