It was too early yet when Song Dei Si arrived in school together with her dad, Song Mingsheng. They separated their ways when they entered the school ground. Her dad went straight to the principal office while she stayed at the school ground where the event will take place to look around. Yan High School has a huge ground that can accomodate the entire school population. It was only 7:00 AM and the Foundation Day ceremony will kick start at 8:00AM. Though there were only a handful of students who were there during that time, she saw the excitement from their faces. Foundation day was one of the most awaited events in Yan High School. You can see and feel a fiesta vibes all over the place. There was an improvised stage at the center of the school ground. There were food stands scattered in the school ground as well. They were balloons decorations too. There were also a lot of game booths. The registration was already open so she decided to sign early before the long queue will start.

She just finished her registration when someone's arms hooked her pretty neck.

"Excited?" Ho Min Lin teasing voice can be heard.

She annoyingly shook off her arms and looked at her. She was impressed by her bestfriend's outfit for the day. She wore a bohemian skirt and a pleated strapless top and she accessorized with her big sunglasses. No doubt, Min Lin was one of the headturners.

"I'm just here early because I went with dad, Aren't you the one who were so excited?"

"Of course. I cannot miss it for the world. I'm so excited for all the games. I can't wait to dedicate a song for Lee Jin Ho" she said while signing at her registration.

There was a dedication booth where the students can go and ask the resident DJ there to play their favorite songs to be played at which can be heard all over Yan High School. The requester just have to pay for 1 yuan for each song that was requested. They can also dedicate the song to their crushes or friends. They were lots of couples that were made out of the dedication booth from the previous year event. They treated it as the stepping stone to let their crushes knew that they have feelings towards them. Some will bluntly mentioned their names as the requester, some were shy and hid on their code names.

"Make sure to provide your name so he'll know!" She said mockingly after Min Lin finished with her registration, they were already started walking away from the registration booth.

"As if he still doesn't know!" Ho Min Lin rolled her eyes.

She suddenly stared at her bestfriend and seriously told her. "Come to think of it, why would Lee Jin Ho did not court you until now even if he knew it all along that you have a crush on him?"

Disappointment flashed through Min Lin's beautiful face. "It's because there's no need to court me. I'll be his girl right away if he will ask me"

"Will that day comes?" she teased her endlessly.

"I hate you!"

Min Lin left her as she strode to the nearest food stand. She followed her.

The opening ceremony has started and they stood near the stage. The opening remarks was provided by Madam Yan who eloquently welcomed faculties and students to celebrate with them on the school's Foundation Day. Song Dei Si looked up to her with admiration. Whenever she saw Madam Yan's speaking in the school event she can help but admire her. She still remember their first encounter. It was over a year ago. She was at the principal's office as she has something to speak to her dad when suddenly Madam Yan came in. She was speechless when she saw Madam Yan as closer as it could be. She did not expect to see a woman who she have once thought to be already on her mid 40's to be this stringkingly beautiful. She looked so young at her real age of 35. If you didn't knew her at all, no one could have ever guess that the woman who was standing in front of them has already a 16-year old teenager boy.

"You have a beautiful daughter Mr. Song" she still remember when she praised her looks as her father introduced them.

"She got her looks from her deceased mom" Song Mingsheng shyly commented.

Madam Yan laughed. "I can imagine how beautiful your late wife is by just looking at your daughter now. You are one lucky guy, Mr. Song!"

Song Mingsheng laughed out too. He wasn't offended by her honest opinion. He knew that he looks like just an average guy.

"Make sure to keep an eye on her. As she is so beautiful, I'm sure a lot of bees are trying to get close to this blossoming bud" she was smiling as she gave her unsolicited advise to her father and then turned to her. "Little Miss, focus on your studies first, don't mind them bees. You can attract even the most handsome butterfly in the world once you have a successful life."

She nodded and kept her words to her heart.

From then on, she looked up to her as her role model and inspiration.
