"Ji Nan, I know you are concerned with your sister and you love her dearly but the matter of two hearts falling in love with each other is beyond your control and don't try to step onto something that is not within your turf" she said calmly.

Tan Ji Nan looked at her intently and was surprised with her rebuttal. After a few seconds, he blinked his eyes and softly nodded.

"Can you forgive me for being rude?" Tan Ji Nan asked politely.

"If you apologize, then yes!"

Ji Nan looked at her again and realized how feisty the girl in front of him. No wonder, her bestfriend fell deeply inlove with this girl. She is someone who can't be belittled and can depend herself without relying into someone's help.

"I'm sorry." He sincerely said. "Whatever is going on between you and Yan Mor Tee should be respected"

Song Dei Si has soften her cold expression and nodded.

Before she could answer, she heard Lee Jin Ho's voice asking Tan Ji Nan if they could switch partner and before Tan Ji Nan could reply, he was already being pulled by Lee Jin Ho and was dancing with him in an instant.

She looked at Yan Mor Tee and Tan Ja Nin while they were dancing next to them and she was greeted by Yan Mor Tee's glaring look.

And she bowed her head.

While Song Dei Si and Lee Jin Ho were comfortable dancing with each other and chatted while they were dancing. Their previous dance partners, Tan Ji Nan and Ho Min Lin were quietly dancing with each other. No one has intention to speak. When Ho Min Lin looked at Tan Ji Nan's expression, he looked like he was just waiting for the love song being played comes to end. While his gaze was looking into other direction, she took this opportunity to stare at him. She has realized that when you looked deeply into him, he is not quite bad looking. He may not be as eye catching like Mor Tee and Jin Ho maybe because of his overweight figure, but he was no doubt a good looking man. Maybe if Tan Ji Nan could lose some weight, he could pass as one of the school heartrobs. Her young heart suddenly thumped with these thoughts.

The music has stopped and his arms around her waist has slowly drifted apart and he guided her out of the dance floor.

His cold treatment was like a stabbing pain into her confused heart.

While Min Lin was alone standing in one of the cocktail tables, she looked at Song Dei Si and Lee Jin Ho while they were still dancing at the dance floor. She saw how Lee Jin Ho was staring deeply into Song Dei Si as he listened to her like he was mesmerised. Lee Jin Ho has never looked at her that way.

'Does Lee Jin Ho likes her bestfriend from the start? Is it the reason why she never had a chance with him because his heart was already belong to someone else?'

Before she could ponder her thoughts, a female voice from behind has suddenly caught her attention.

"Can you see how perfect they look while they are dancing together?" A woman from her late 40's told the woman she was speaking to.

The woman who was on her late 30's agreed. "They are the perfect match"

Ho Min Lin knitted her eyebrows and concluded that the two woman— Madam Yan and Madam Tan were discussing about their children— Yan Mor Tee and Tan Ja Nin who were dancing at the dance floor.

"I can't wait to see them walk the aisle anytime soon" Madam Tan said.

"Isn't it too early to decide for their marriage yet?" Madam Yan has expressed her doubt.

"They were both 18 now. With our consent they can get married legally." Madam Tan insisted. "Our husbands agreed 18 years ago that your son can marry our daughter when they both reached the right age"

Madam Yan softly nodded.

Ho Min Lin was shocked on what she just heard. Yan Mor Tee and Tan Ja Nin are getting married?

She looked at them while they were dancing at the dance floor and she could see that the two of them were not inlove with each other. Arent marriage should only happen to those two people inlove? Maybe Tan Ja Nin was inlove with Yan Mor Tee as she looked at him mesmerizedly but Yan Mor Tee's gazed was into someone else. He was looking glaringly looking into the pair that were dancing next to them.

His expression was that of a man who was taken over by his jealousy.
