"Hi!"

Song Dei Si was surprised to see Yan Mor Tee who was standing at the corner of the street near her apartment.

"What are you doing here?" She asked in disbelief. Good thing, her father has gone to the school earlier than her.

"I wanted to walk with you on our way to school." He answered shyly. "Is it okay?" He gentlemanly asked for her permission.

She nodded.

Yan Mor Tee took something from his bag and gave it to her.

She looked at the paper bag that was already in her hands. "What is this?"

"I've asked Butler Min to prepare two sets of breakfast for me. Would you mind if we eat breakfast first before we go to our classroom. It's still early for our first class then, we still have enough time to have breakfast."

"But.." she was about to say that she already had her breakfast but when she saw how hopeful and excited Yan Mor Tee was while waiting for her answer she doesn't have a heart to turn him down.

"OK!"

Song Dei Si and Yan Mor Tee were comfortably sitting under the old oak tree while they were munching their foods.

"It's peaceful here." She uttered as she smelled the fresh air.

"Yeah. Our sunctuary" Yan Mor Tee told her. "Did you know that a lot of memories were already created under this old oak tree?"

She looked at Yan Mor Tee with amusement on her eyes.

"This old oak tree was a witness when Lu Jiaosheng jumped in triumphant when we accepted him to be part of our group. It was also here when Lee Min Ho joyfully shared with us that he wanted to study abroad next school year. It was also here when Tan Ji Nan cried his heart out because Ho Min Lin has rejected his longing heart. And..."

She was waiting for his next statement but Yan Mor Tee had paused for a while and looked at her.

"And under this old oak tree, you told me how you hated my guts and smacked my face in front of my friends and it was a bad one." He said with a pain showing on his eyes. "I know we cannot run away from bad memories but we can always create new good ones. Let's start now." He said while he looked at her like he was looking at her innermost soul.

Her face turned crimson. She bowed her head.

She wanted to pinch herself just to ensure that she wasn't daydreaming.

"Do you really like me?" She asked him while her head was still bowed down.

"Look at me." Yan Mor Tee has ordered her.

She shyly raised her head up and looked at Yan Mor Tee. She really can't believe that someone like Yan Mor Tee will be attracted to someone like her.

"I started liking you the moment I first saw you at the school ground three years ago. I thought I was only fascinated with you because you're different. You are somewhat shy and so innocent. You didn't even took a single glance at me when we crossed our path as if you don't care who I am. You are so distant. I thought it was only your facade for me to get noticed you. You being a snob one has piqued my interest. So I started stalking you. But the more I stalked you, the more you're digging a hole inside my heart" He said then suddenly made a pause. "You go to school as early as 6:30AM. You love going to the library during your free time because you love reading books. You only have one friend in school and that's Min Lin. You don't like to socialize. You go home after school. You usually go to bed as early as 8PM"

Her eyes were widened in disbelief.

"I just don't like you. I'm obsessed." He said as he looked away.

"I'm obsessed that I was no longer satisfied looking at you from a distance. I want to let you know of my existence. So I asked my parents to transfer me into the same class where you at in Grade 10. I did everything to get your attention. Up to the extreme that I deliverately announced that you were my girlfriend. I was so happy that I got onto your nerves because you had started noticing me. But I've gone overboard and instead of you liking me, you were mad at me."

"You didn't talk to me after that incident." She said.

"I went to the principal office that same day and had asked for your father's blessing if I can pursue you but I was rejected. So instead of pursuing you, I went back to hiding. Two long years that I can only look at you from a distance. It was painful when I saw you so sad that afternoon. I can't help but to walk out from your shadow to let you know that I am just here. Loving you since three years ago."

Song Dei Si can't help but felt the sincerity of every words that he said.

How she wanted to let him know that she felt the same way. But she had promised her father that she will finish high school first before she enter into any love relationship. She cannot break that promise.

So she was counting on Yan Mor Tee's word that he will wait for her decision even if it takes six months from now.
