Ho Min Lin woke up and realized that she was lying at the hospital bed. She looked around but no one was inside the room except her. She was trying to recall what happened to her when suddenly the comfort room door inside the room swung open and a familiar figure walked out from it. He looks so haggard and it looks like he hasn't shaven for days.

"Ji Nan" she softly called out his name.

The man suddenly rushed into her direction when he heard her voice.

"You're awake." a sudden excitement was evident on his face.

"Why I am here?" She asked.

"You've collapsed."

She collapsed?

"You've almost died due to over fatigue and lack of of sleep. What made you think that you can still hold on after being concious for 38 hours?" He chided her thou they have the same case where he also didn't sleep for almost 2 days. He only got to take a nap while Min Lin was still unconcious.

"Did you bring me here?" She curiously asked, the last thing she remembered was she was about to leave his hotel room.

"Who else can bring you here? You collapsed in my arms and I have no other choice."

"Sorry for being a burden." She lowered her head and felt a pang in her heart. "You can go back to the hotel to rest. I think I'm okay now and I can manage from here."

Ji Nan looked at her and furrowed his eyebrows. Since highschool, she was always been independent. She wasn't your typical damsel in distress who will always look for someone who can take care of her. He still remembered how she always wanted to sneak out from her bodyguards because she doesn't want being guarded.

Sometimes he thought that she would never need him.

But he always wanted to be there for her.

To take good care of her.

But she always shut him down.

He sighed.

Then he quietly strode outside the room.

Min Lin bit her lower lip to stop herself from crying.

His hostility on her has never gone away.

Just when she thought that Ji Nan has left her, she saw him again entering the room after 45 minutes with a take out foods on both hands. He put down the foods on the table and pull out a chair then silently munch the food by himself.

She suddenly felt hungry the moment she smelled the food. She had thought that she hasn't eaten for days now. The only food that got into her body since she arrived in Paris was the glucose from her dextrose. If it is can be considered as food.

As she watched Ji Nan eating and never tried to offer her some foods, she started pouting.

This man has always a knick of torturing her. He knew that she hasn't eaten for days and had guts of eating in front of her.

To divert her attention from foods she tried to sleep. But a minute later a loud growl was heard inside the room.

"Are you hungry?" Tan Ji Nan asked her. She looked at him and raised her eyebrows. Wasn't it obvious? He heard her growling stomach, wasn't he?

"If you want to eat then go down and buy your food or wait until the hospital food came." Tan Ji Nan said

How heartless.

"You said you can manage yourself from here right and you don't need anyone else?"

So he was doing it on purpose.

He stood up and went into her bed side as he continously ate the blueberry cheesecake.

It was her favorite.

"Do you want a bite?" He teasingly asked her.

She shyly nodded.

"Say please?"

Her mouth was opened and eyes widened in disbelief.

He sliced a big piece and stuffed it straight into her opened mouth.
