"I took the initiative!" She said in a low voice

"What do you mean? You're the first one who confessed?" Ho Min Lin asked in disbelief.

"No confession has been made."

"Wait, wait, I'm quite lost here. You said you took the initiative. How did you do it? What did you say to him?

"I've asked him to be the father of my child. I've asked him to impregnate me."

"WHAT?!" Ho Min Lin was in shocked so she raised her voice but after few seconds, she uttered. "Are you that desperate to take him back again?"

"You can say that!"

"But it quite a good move huh?! You became Mrs. Yan in an instant!" Ho Min Lin exclaimed. "I am just wondering why Yan Mor Tee agreed on your proposal. He might still in love with you all these years to agree to be the father of your child."

"You think so?"

"I can't find any other reason."

"Maybe he just agreed to it because we've been good friends all these years." She said trying to convince herself because it is impossible that Yan Mor Tee has still feelings for her. She still remember how he told her that he will never fall in love with her again.

"Did you ask him why he agreed?"

"No!"

"So don't presume! You were so brave when you ask him to be the father of your child. Don't hold your horses and go ask him what he really feels about you"

She looked at her bestfriend and ponder what she has said.

Song Dei Si looked at her wrist watch and saw that lunch break is almost over. Even if she was already the wife of the CEO, she always ensure that she followed the work time policy and she took punctuality seriously.

"I have to go back to the office now. Let's meet again with Ja Nin next time around." She said and started to get ready to leave. "I kinda miss her. I haven't enough time catching up with her from the last time we met. Do you have any news about her? I don't have her latest mobile number."

Ho Min Lin got startled when she heard Tan Ja Nin's name. "Same here. I'll ask Ji Nan for her new number and I'll share it with you."

Song Dei Si smiled at Min Lin. "Thanks! Or you can set a get together for the whole gang!"

Ho Min Lin nodded.

"I'll get going now." Song Dei Si said and strode off.

Ho Min Lin stayed and was lost in her own thoughts.

Song Dei Si came back to Yan Enterprise office and went directly to the CEO secretariat office. She asked the new personal assistant if Yan Mor Tee has taken his lunch already.

"I have ordered his food and delivered it to his office but I'm not sure if he already taken it." The new personal assistant told her

Song Dei Si nodded. "Is he there?"

"Yes, he never leave his office yet."

"Okay, thank you Su Yin."

Song Dei Si was about to go to the CEO office to check on Yan Mor Tee when she heard a male voice who just entered the CEO secretariat.

"Is Mor Tee there?" She heard a voice from the man asking the new personal assistant of CEO's presence.

"Do you have any appointment with the CEO, sir?"

"I don't have an appointment with him and will not book an appointment just to talk to him. Is he there or not?" The voice of the man echoed in the CEO secretariat office that made Song Dei Si halted her steps.

Before Su Yin gave the man an answer, he already strode off to the CEO office.

Song Dei Si looked back and was surprised to see a familiar face.

The man's gaze also landed directly to her and he gave her a nerve-cracking stare.
