Tan Ja Nin has slowly opened her eyes when she heard a commotion in the room. She was still dilated but she can recognized her mother's worried voice.

"Mum" she murmured.

"Thank God you're awake!"

"What happened?" Tan Ja Nin asked.

Everyone's in the room looked at each other.

Why does it seems that Tan Ja Nin was not aware that she had commited suicide?

Madam Tan was about to explain what had happened when the attending physician came in.

"The doctor's here!" Master Tan exclaimed.

All of them cleared the way so that Doctor Wang can go to Tan Ja Nin bedside to examine her.

"How is she, Doctor?" Master Tan asked Doctor Wang after he had done the initial check-up.

"Her vital signs are recovering. Few more rest and she's going to be okay."

All of them were happy hearing the news and thank Doctor Wang before he leaves the room.

Tan Ja Nin tried to sit up, Tan Ji Nan assited her.

"How are you feeling?" Tan Ji Nan asked.

"You're back from Paris." She did not answer her brother's question because she was surprised to see him back. Her gaze shifted to the woman beside her brother.

"Min Lin?" Tan Ja Nin asked. Her eyes has a lot of questions about her presence.

Ho Min Lin smiled at her. She will definitely answer all her questions when she fully recover.

"I'm glad you're okay now." Ho Min Lin said.

"What happened? I was having a hardtime sleeping and tried to take some sleeping pills to help me sleep but why did I end up here in the hospital?"

"You did not attempt suicide?" Master Tan asked her daughter.

"Suicide? Why would I?"

"We've thought you've purposely took sleeping pills more than the usual dosage because you've got hurt by the news of Yan Mor Tee's union to Song Dei Si." Madam Tan told her.

Tan Ja Nin did not reply and was lost in a deep thought.

It was true that she was hurt by his sudden marriage that's why she went to the bar drinking every night but after what had happened to her and Jin Ho, she did not go back to the bar and stopped drinking because all she got was a headache.

She can't sleep the past five days after what happened to her and Jin Ho that's why she resort on taking sleeping pills. When she cannot still sleep, she tried to take some more that leads to an overdose.

"I did not do it purposely" She said after awhile. "I was hurt when I heard the news about Yan Mor Tee and Song Dei Si's union because I thought I have already forgotten him..."

"That's why it's all Mor Tee and that woman's fault. If they didn't get married, you're not going to go through all this hurt and suffering again" Master Tan said in a rage.

"Dad, don't blame them. It's not their fault. Please stop throwing all the blame on them." Tan Ja Nin tried to pacify his father's anger. "If I am hurting right now, there's no one to be blamed but myself. I chose to keep my feelings for Mor Tee all this years when I'm supposed to let him go completely."

Master Tan did not retort back.

"Dad, just let it go. It's been 7 years already. Let's stop the hate and move on for everyone's sake." Tan Ji Nan said. He thought it was the right time to coerce his father to stop hating the Yans.

Tan Ja Nin gave Tan Ji Nan a smile. It has always been their dream to get the Tans and Yans friendship to start all over again.

Ho Min Lin took Tan Ji Nan's hand. She pressed it lightly as she wanted to tell him that he was doing the right thing and she supported him.

"Honey, let's ponder what the twins have said." Madam Tan said. Maybe like the twins, she wanted to make amends with the Yans, what only keep her from doing it was her husband.

Because in all of them, it was Master Tan who have been hurt the most when Master Yan broke off their agreement. He wasn't just lost a business partner but a bestfriend too.

Master Tan did not respond and left the room immediately.
