Chapter 155: Humiliation (1)Translator: Guy Gone Bad
Mo Yi brought out four servings of breakfasts as usual.
Su Rong looked at the food on the table, “Only four?”
Mo Yi sat down beside Mo Fei without even looking at Su Rong, saying coldly, “If you don’t want to eat, you can offer it to someone else.”
Hearing Mo Yi’s words, Su Rong immediately ran to his seat and had his meal for fear that Zheng Xuan would come and take his breakfast away.
Lou Yu took a glance at Zheng Xuan, who was left alone, and sighed. Now he could not ensure self-preservation, let alone to protect Zheng Xuan. This guy might as well ask for more blessings himself.
Zheng Xuan looked at Mo Yi with a bitter face. He bit his lips, and asked after determination, “Yiyi, has the wound on your shoulder healed yet?”
Mo Fei raised his head and looked at Zheng Xuan carelessly, thinking, “Well, this guy really likes touching the tender spot!”
Su Rong said to himself with some excitement, “This is the first sentence, a total of two, and one more to go.”
Mo Yi looked at Zheng Xuan lightly and said word by word, “I haven’t suffered any shoulder injury.”
Zheng Xuan said eagerly, “But… But…” Zheng Xuan could not continue his words for a long time. Even Mo Fei felt anxious for him.
“The second sentence,” said Su Rong excitedly.
Su Rong thought to himself: The second sentence was half finished, but now he could not take care of so much, he must send away the hoodoo, he was truly an eyesore.
Su Rong stood up and tried to push Zheng Xuan out, “Master Zheng, you have to leave now. This small temple of ours cannot hold such a giant Buddha like you!”

Zheng Xuan stared at Su Rong, unwilling to leave. The latter ran over and pulled Zheng Xuan’s arm. However, Zheng Xuan seemed to have rooted in the ground and did not budge.
Su Rong regretted for the 101st time that he failed to resist Zheng Xuan’s coercion and brought this shameless guy in.
“The finals of the talent contest is in four days. Are you ready?” Lou Yu suddenly asked Mo Fei.
Mo Fei scratched his head. He had been trying hard to practice these days, or else to deal with the beauty teacher, so he totally forgot to make the preparations for this.
“Not yet, but, I’m Mo Fei! With some small warm ups, I’ll definitely be able to beat the pack. What’s more, I have Yiyi dancing for me. There will be no problem. Hahaha…” Mo Fei said with a triumphant laughter.
Hearing the word ‘dancing for me’, Zheng Xuan’s eyes revealed a trace of unspeakable pain.
“Make well preparations. Grandpa said he would watch your show in the finals,” said Lou Yu.
Mo Fei was kind of surprised, “Is your grandfather also a fan of mine? I have such great charm?!”
Lou Yu, “…”
He looked at Mo Fei, “Have you decided what you are gonna perform?”
Mo Fei nodded solemnly, “Yes, I already got an idea, sword dance with zither! Yiyi will be my sword dancer.”
Mo Fei turned his head to Mo Yi, “Yiyi, can you do the dancing with your sword?”
Mo Yi nodded slightly and said with a faint smile, “Yes, of course.”
Mo Fei looked at Mo Yi admiringly. “Yiyi, you can play the flute and piano, you can dance, fight, and even cook. There is absolutely nothing you are not good at. You are so versatile, and the people who love you and pursue you can line up to the Biluo River from here.”

Mo Yi smiled faintly and said, “Young master, you must be joking with me. I just want to be by your side. What others do have nothing to do with me.”
Saying by Mo Fei’s side all his life? Lou Yu paused for a moment and said with unease, “Yiyi, but you need to get married one day.”
Mo Yi smiled. Lou Yu’s words was undeniable, but he did not reply.
Su Rong crunched his bread, calculating in his heart. He had thought that he could win Mo Yi’s heart as long as he could defeat Zheng Xuan. But it seemed not that simple.
Mo Fei blinked while drinking the milk, “Yiyi, I think your sword is a little out of hand. You may need to change a new one.”
Mo Yi nodded while saying, “Yeah, I am also thinking of that.” The star sword he used was only of level 3, but he had reached level 4 of cultivation now. The sword had already failed to match his power. He kept the old one due to lack of money, but now he should not be so stingy to himself since he had gotten rich.
Zheng Xuan said hurriedly, “I’ll buy it for you.”
Mo Fei blinked, looked at Zheng Xuan and asked, “Do you have any star coins? I am afraid you are still using a level four star sword yourself.”
Zheng Xuan’s expression suddenly became very embarrassed. He was a level five star magician and had a certain amount of money but not so comfortably off. But he thought that he could at least afford a level five star sword.
Su Rong lowered his head and nibbled at the bread, thinking to himself: This feels so good! I am not the only poor man now! Haha! Though ZHeng Xuan might be a little wealthier than me, come on, it’s like the pot calling the kettle black! We are on par now!
Mo Yi ignored Zheng Xuan and turned to Mo Fei and said, “Young master, let’s go.”
Mo Fei nodded, “Okay.”
Mo Yi and Mo Fei then went out. This time, Zheng Xuan immediately followed out without Su Rong’s urge.
Mo Fei and Mo Yi walked in the front, while Su Rong and Zheng Xuan followed behind, the scene attracted the attention of many passers-by.
Mo Yi’s eyebrows knotted and his face was gloomy.

Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have. Cora Carpenter lives in an America where over 90% of the popular vote went to one presidential candidate. Anything lower and the child is given to a more suitable home. Or the Volunteer Tax because if someone has time to dedicate to the less fortunate, then they must of course have extra income to spare. Monstrous Path
This story is both dark and lighthearted, it will have a lot of deaths and gore scenes but not just for the sake of being edgy or something like that. Every being comes from someone’s life — a womb, an egg, the world, a God, and from itself. Then what about me? I came from a container, so what does that make me? Am I still a being? “I do not know — I want to understand — why?” This was my driving force to live when I opened my eyes, I had no need for food, I only needed to satiate my curiosity. But as I learned early on, life was not as simple as it seemed. Note: The Characters in this world would always have a reason for living, and the world moves not just because of the MC. This would also have a lot of tearjerking scenes (or so I would hope) Culture, Race, Government, and Language can and will be different and though some Races like Elves and Dwarves are present, please do not think that they are the same as every other.
