Julian reached Mr. Smith's home and told him that Cubone has met his mother, Mr. Smith was happy to hear this news but also feeling sad to see that Cubone was still not fully healed from the trauma of losing his mother, Julian handed over Cubone back to Mr. Smith and was ready to start traveling again
Julian "Cubone we are leaving now, promise me that you will become strong and also take care of Mr. Smith properly"
Cubone nods his head as says goodbye to his friend Kabuto
Julian "Alright Mr. Smith I will be going now"
Mr. Smith "Take care and don't forget to visit us sometimes"
Julian calls Kabuto back to his Pokeball and rides away after leaving Lavender town Julian decides to hold a camp after reaching a riverside, and finally, after two hours of riding he finds a suitable place to put on a camp, after setting up the camp Julian called out all his pokemons, when all of them came out Pidgeotto, Heatran, Ivysaur, Gyarados looked at the new member of the team Gengar, Gengar being friendly in nature greeted every one Gengar was most impressed by Gyarados as he was very big standing 8.5 meters tall, he would carefully look at Gyarados and try to play some pranks on him by trying to pull his tail or tickle him but it was no use as Gyarados didn't feel a thing because he was enjoying the cold water of the river, seeing how Gengar was trying to play pranks on Gyarados and failing and now trying to prank other pokemons Julian could not help but shake his head in the process Julian noticed something particular about his Gengar he looked darker and less colorful than a normal Gengar which had purple coloretion to it.
Julian 'I didn't even notice last night as it was dark, but it looks like my Gengar is a shiny'
Julian "Ok guys lets do some training, you guys have to do it yourself as today I will train with Gengar"
All his pokemon nods and goes to their respected training exercise which Julian had given them to do, Gengar floated towards Julian and circled around him excitedly.
Julian "Ok Gengar we will train your normal attacks and defense as your special attacks are already powerful we will focus on them later, now we have to improve your strength"

Gengar nods agreeing to Julian as they start to train their physical attacks, after hours of training Julian and the rest are finally tired and they rest for some time, only Gengar is energetic as always as he disappears and reappears one place at a time while doing this he suddenly notices something he floats towards Julian and tells him something is there across those bushes alongside the road
Julian "You are saying something suspicious is behind those bushes"
Gengar "Gengarrrrr" nods his head repeatedly
Julian calls back all his pokemons except Gengar to their Pokeball and heads towards the direction of those bushes, Gengar rushed towards the other side of the bushes followed by Julian but to their surprise, they were flashed by a bright light making them suddenly lose their sight and falling asleep, when Julian gained consciousness he slowly opened his eyes to see very tall trees which were towering towards the sky, the sun looked bright as the sun rays were warm and comfortable, he slowly stood up to see that Gengar was floating around chasing some wild pokemons and having fun Julian seeing this didn't know whether to laugh or cry
Julian 'Gengar really loves to trouble others, I hope he doesn't put me in deep trouble, putting that aside what is this place it looks like a forest and the trees are so big, I didn't see any map or book mentioning this place, seeing that this forest has such lush vegetation it should have been found by people and mentioned them in the book right, wait is this some kind of secret places which appears and disappears leaving no trace behind, I had heard some legends about it but I didn't know that I will be able to enter one, Gengar really did a good job'
While Julian was wondering where he was he was being watched by a small pokemon which looked like a hairless mouse with very light pink color which almost looked white, it looked at Julian curiously as it had never encountered a human who was surrounded by spiritual energy and it was really curious while floating around silently observing Julian it by mistake made a rustling sound alerting Julian.
Julian who was inspecting the area suddenly heard rustling sound from above and quickly turned around to just see a blur which disappeared in a second, Julian quickly knew that something was watching him, he called Gengar back as he starts to walk towards a random direction, he sees many pokemon along the way but nothing caught his interest he noticed one thing particular about this forest is that all the pokemons living here were a little stronger than the ones that are found outside this mysterious forest he quickly came to a conclusion that the environment here is rich with spiritual energy even though this pokemons cannot observe it being constantly exposed to it made them healthier some time he would get jumped by bug type pokemons but Gengar would just scare them away while walking around the forest Julian and Gengar also bonded pretty well and they could understand each other much better now, after traveling around this never-ending forest he finally decided to rest he brought out all his pokemons and gave them their food while his pokemons were eating a Pidgey came flying towards Julian and landed on his shoulder, he got suprised by the sudden visiting but he didnt mind and fed this Pidgey some pokemon food after eating the pokemon food it rubed Julian cheeks and flew away dissapering among the trees after it went inside the trees the Pidgey suddenly started to change shape and turned into the same pokemon which was observing Julian previously.

Julian sent his pokemons back after they finished their food and played around for a little, he didn't send Gengar back because he realized that Gengar had a very keen sense and can quickly inform him if there is any trouble further them, his system was useless here as every step Julian took there were more than 50 pokemons in his surrounding 100 meters which rendered it useless, after continuing to travel for such a long time Julian finally found a pokemon he wanted to catch an Elekid if it was trained properly it could become very powerful after evolving to its final form Electivire, Julian didn't waste any time and sent Gengar to fight with it.
Julian "Gengar go underground and go behind Elekid and use lick"
Gengar shows his creepy smile to Elekid and slowly goes into the ground disappearing from Elekid's sight, Elekid starts to panic and the next thing he knew that he was paralyzed and unable to move
Julian "Now Gengar shadow punch"
Gengar uses shadow punch and sends Elekid flying as he faints, Julian throws a Pokeball at him capturing Elekid inside after few seconds the Pokeball makes a sound confirming the capture.
Julian takes the Pokeball and calls out Elekid and gives him some candy.
Julian "Elekid now you are a part of the team, and I will help you by making you into a very strong Electivire"
Hearing Julian will help him turn into an Electivire made him happy as all Elekids had the desire to become strong and due to this they had a very arrogant personality and only respected stronger opponents.
Julian 'System show Elekid's stats'

Julian 'A new member joins the team making it a lot stronger than before, Ah its so peaceful here to bad I cannot stay here for long'
He calls Elekid back to his Pokeball and continues to move forward as he sees that the sun is actually setting and suddenly his vision turns blank and next thing he knows he is back to the place which is behind the bushes.
Julian "It looks like after nightfall this secret place throws out anyone that doesn't belong to it, well let's head back I hope all the items in the camp are safe and sound"
When he gets back to the camp he lets out a sigh of relief as nothing is stolen from here, but unknown to Julian a certain someone had followed him back to the original world.

Resurgent [Hiatus]
Resurgent is the story of a man by the name of Marcus Diamandis and he begins his journey in an unexpected location, the skies. On the day of Armageddon, or later commonly referred to as Integration, Marcus begins his fall that hopefully preludes an eventual rise to greatness. Humanity has become stagnant in its ideals, no one quite knows what would happen if it were forced to change. Cataclysm now arrives in modern times, can we adapt, or will mankind fail its greatest test? ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Resurgent is a story that will include LitRPG and GameLit systems. Will not include any Harem elements whatsoever. This story is my first posted attempt at writing an episodic piece of literature and constructive criticism is always welcomed. The New World and The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound heavily inspired me so if you haven't read them please go give them a read!
