The second day of the top 16 resulted in four more trainers entering the quarter-finals them being Melissa, Jacob, Kurt, and Zoe.

In the quarter-finals, Julian faced Andrew and defeated him by using just his Electivire and Pidgeot as it was a six on six battle and advanced to the semifinals, Assunta also advanced towards semifinals by defeating Ritchie, the others who advanced to the semifinals where Melissa and Kurt. ​​

The semifinal was still the same Julian used only his Gengar and Pidgeot to completely dominate Kurt who was a psychic type trainer and became the first finalist, Assunta defeated Melissa after a hard-fought battle and advanced to the finals as she will face Julian for the title of the Indigo League champion.

The internet is going wild currently as everyone is talking about Julian Vs Assunta match, many of them obviously supported Julian after seeing his winning streak but Assunta also had her hardcore fans cheering for her, Julian knew about the chaos his name is causing right now in the internet but he just ignored them, he is getting pretty bored right now, his final battle is after two days and this battle is going to be broadcast all over Kanto and also many different regions like Jhoto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, Julian didn't like it but he couldn't do anything about it.

Julian decided to go the Indigo Stadium to watch the battle between Kurt and Melissa as they are battling each other to determine the third place in the league, when Julian reached there he saw many people sitting in the crowd waiting for the match to start, Julian was escorted by a security guard to a different place to watch the battle as it would cause a commotion if he sits with the crowd, he took a seat and waited for the match to begin.

The Announcer started to talk as he introduced the two trainers.

Announcer "Ladies and Gentlemen today is the day to decide who is going to be the third place holder in the Indigo League, today's battle is between Kurt who was defeated by Julian and Melissa who was defeated by Assunta in their previous match, now they want redemption by taking the third place in the League"

After the Announcer's announcement both Melissa and Kurt enter the battle stadium, after the referee's signal they both start their battle, as Julian is watching he heard a voice asking him a question.

"Who do you think is gonna win?"

Julian turned around to see a lady wearing a red and black top and tight skirt, she had dark blue hair and brown eyes, he knew who this lady was, she was Assunta his opponent for the finals.

Julian "Kurt is going to win"

Assunta was surprised by the sudden answer from Julian, she didn't expect him to answer so quickly.

Assunta "Why do you think so?"

Julian "Kurt has more experience"

Julian didn't say much as he just brushed on the surface about Kurt, when he battled Kurt he was really impressed by him, he even speculated that if Assunta had fought Kurt instead of Melissa she would have lost.

Assunta "I think Melissa will win, I have battled her with all my power and I know she will defeat Kurt easily, how can you be so sure that Kurt has more experience when he couldn't even eliminate one of your pokemon"

Julian "None of my opponent were able to eliminate my pokemons so you can't judge them by that"

Assunta froze after hearing Julian as she realized that she had made a mistake by saying this, she had forgoten that Julian is a formidable opponent and cannot be taken lightly but that doesn't mean she would give up, she wants to win this time and she would train harder for it.

Julian looks at her with intimidating eyes, he wants to see how determined she actually is, Assunta felt some pressure as she looked into Julian's eyes, she started to doubt her self if she is going to win or not but she quickly regained her confidence as she was really determined and wanted to win which allowed her to break out of this unknown pressure.

Julian nodded seeing Assunta's resolution but he will still know that she is not as strong as Kurt.

Julian looked back at the battlefield as saw that Kurt and Melissa have already started battling, Assunta also took a seat and watched the battle carefully, she didn't bother talking to Julian as she won't gain anything from it.

The battle went as predicted Kurt won as two of his pokemon were still remaining, he took the third place in this league, Melissa was a little disappointed but she came over it eventually.

Julian stood up and walked away, Assunta watched him walk away as she looked at him seriously when she saw how Kurt battled today she questioned herself if she could have won against Kurt but when she thought how Kurt was defeated so easily by Julian she knew she will have to face the strongest opponent she will ever face.

Julian went back to his room and found a notification on the computer, he looked at it and saw Professor Oak had tried to contact him, he quickly called Professor Oak, the computer screen changed as Professor Oak appeared in it.

Julian "Professor Oak"

Oak "Ah, Julian I actually called you to tell you that I will be arriving at the Indigo Plateau, they requested me to be the special host and commentator for the finals"

Julian "I see so when will you be arriving"

Oak "I will be there by tomorrow evening"
