Absol stepped back a little to make some distance, he instinct told him to be on the edge every single second.

Grovyle made his move, he jumped up in the air and shot multiple Bullet Seeds, Absol quickly jumped away but didn't get to stay on a single point, Grovyle kept shooting Bullet Seeds. ​ ​

As Absol kept jumping and avoiding the bullet seeds he noticed that Grovyle was trying to corner him, Absol found himself right next to a rock, Grovyle dashed towards the cornered Absol as his blades glow red and expand making a crescent shape, Grovyle brought down a powerful Leaf Blade towards Absol.

Seeing the power behind the upcoming attack, Absol took a stance and suddenly his horn glow dark and expand in size, Absol used Night Slash and countered Grovyle's Leaf Blade, due to Grovyle's attack from above the ground under Absol's feet cracked but the move was still countered, Grovyle did a backflip and landed on his feet.

Absol charged towards Grovyle using Quick Attack, Grovyle jumped up avoiding the Quick Attack and attacked with Energy Ball, Absol jumped to the side and avoided the Energy Ball which landed on the ground and destroyed it.

Absol sent out a powerful Psycho Cut towards Grovyle, Grovyle countered it by using Energy Ball once again but this time he sent more that one, the first Energy Ball collided with the Psycho Cut and both got destroyed, the second Energy Ball went towards Absol with full speed but Absol dodged it, the third was one the charm, the third Energy Ball hit Absol and sent him rolling on the ground.

Absol got to his feet and used Ice Beam, Grovyle took a stance and gripped the ground with his legs and used Protect, he created a shield made out of energy which stopped the Ice Beam, the Ice shards went flying everywhere.

Absol then charged towards Grovyle and used Mega Horn, Grovyle also did the same charged towards Absol and used X-Scissors, they clashed with each other and the clash created shock waves, then there was a blast sending both of them sliding backward.

Grovyle used Agility and his speed rose significantly, Absol stared at Grovyle and suddenly its red eyes glowed, an illusion eye appeared on top of Grovyle and looked at him then disappeared.

Julian was surprised seeing this.

Julian 'Future Sight'

He didn't expect Absol to have Future Sight, Absols learn two moves out of the seven possibilities when they were born, the moves are Feint, Future Sight, Leer, Perish Song, Quick Attack, and Scratch.

Having Future Sight from the day it was born showed that this Absol had great potential.

Sensing the danger on himself Grovyle started to use agility again and again as he ran around Absol creating multiple after images, it looked like Double Team but it wasn't it was just after images.

Grovyle suddenly turned and attacked but this time Absol was ready he suddenly used Double Team and created multiple copies of himself and escaped from Grovyle's attack.

As Grovyle was still in air he noticed his surroundings changing and suddenly four portals opened out of nowhere and a powerful psychic blast was launched out of them towards Grovyle, Grovyle was fast and avoided a critical hit but he still took damage and the blast sent him rolling on the ground.

Seeing his opponent on the ground Absol used his secret move, he opened his mouth and used Perish Song.

Julian was once again surprised seeing this, it is one this to know Future Sight by birth but to even have Perish song, this was a very rare Absol.

Grovyle stood up and noticed that he didn't have that much time, 30 seconds was his limit and he will faint after that.

Grovyle suddenly started to use Agility like crazy until only five seconds were left, then he suddenly sprinted towards Absol, ripping through the sound barrier and attacking using X-Scissors, Absol just saw a blur and next, he was hit by X-Scissor, he didn't even get a chance to counter, Absol was sent flying and crash landed inside the lake, Absol fainted and could drown but Gyarados was under, he picked up Absol and brought him back to the ground.

The Perish song got canceled as Absol fainted, Absol soon got up and looked around and saw Julian was the closest to him, he backed off and growled at Julian, Grovyle came forward and growled at Absol and warned him.

Absol turned around and ran away, Julian looked at the direction Absol ran off to and sighed, he had the chance to catch Absol but he woke up too soon maybe it was due to the water.

Julian 'Well if I encounter him again I will definitely catch him'

Julian looked at the sky and saw that it was already midnight.

Julian 'I am late'

He called back his pokemons and sat on his bike and rode off, as he left Absol once again came back to the same location and looked at the direction Julian went, Absol then went back to where it came from living behind the lake peace and quiet once again.
