Walking out of the clan head mansion, Ellis was just about to step into the clan pub, he started hearing someone calling his name. Looking around to see who was calling his name only to see maria in front of him. Although he was still enraged by the discussion he had with his father and was yet to check himself off it, he ignored Maria and walk into the pub.
Seeing that her young master is not in a good mood she could only follow behind him. After taking a seat and ordering the attendant to get him something to drink did finally speak up.
" Why are you here"
" Reporting to the young master, the young man has finally regained consciousness" replied Maria while standing guard behind Ellis.
" What, he has regained consciousness, and you still refuse to say a thing. How to wish I did not ask why you came looking for me, you would have sealed your lips" said the furious Ellis.
" Pardon me for not saying it earlier, I thought young master would not be interested in seeing how to enrage you look and decided to say it when you have cool a little" replied Maria while lowering her head.
" Oh because I look angry so refuse to speak earlier, don't you know how important he will be if he is to join my side," said Ellis who seems to be more enraged.
Still lowing her head, Maria just stood still without saying anything. Seeing the state that Maria was in Ellis sigh before lower his voice.
" Am sorry for yelling at you, but you should have informed me on time," said Ellis.
" It's okay young master, I know it was not intentional" replied Maria.
"All alright then let's go," said Ellis before getting up from the sit and paid for the drink he ordered and left the pub with Maria. After walking for some time his courtyard came into view, walking in they saw kate standing guard outside. Curious as to why she is standing outside instead of keeping watch over the young man inside Ellis walk up to her before saying.

"Kate why are you standing here".
Seeing that their young master has already, Kate bow before replying.
" Young Master, the young man was meditating, so I decided to keep watch at here"
"Okay, so is he done yet" asked Ellis.
" He should be done by now" replied Kate.
After hearing the confirmation from Kate, Ellis walks inside and that was when he saw a man sitting on the floor while contemplating on something, but it didn't take too long before the young man before his look at him with a smile on his face before getting up and bow towards Ellis.
" Thank you for saving my life young master Ellis," said Ray while still in the pose.
While bowing, I was just wondering if the young master Kate was talking about is this meatball who seen to die of fat in a few days.
" It's nothing besides you don't need to stress yourself over such since you just recovered" replied Ellis waving his hand as a sign for Ray to raise from his bow.
Raising from my bow I was just about to ask if there is anything to eat but only to hear the meatball saying.
" Since you already know my identity, I believe Kate must have explained how things work here to you," asked Ellis.
"The moment I regain myself we didn't talk for long before I started to meditate" I reply to the meatball while looking through him towards Kate's location.
" Since that's the case, I will have to detail you but before that, I would love to know what brought you here," said Ellis while staring at Ray.
" Would you believe me if I say I did not know that the portal will be here" replied Ray?

" Them how did you sustain those injuries," asked Ellis yet again.
" The truth is I was thrown into the death mountain and was looking for an exit out and that was when I came across the portal that brought me, but before I could get in, I was attacked by the ruler" replied Ray.
" Wait you mean those injuries on your body were caused by the undead ruler," asked Maria this time around.
" Yes, that was the freak that refused to let me use the portal" replied Ray while getting enraged at hearing the name of the ruler.
" A mere QI refining was able to withstand the assault of a foundation realm expert, this is the first time I am hearing of it happening," said Maria with a shocking looking.
Seeing that the young lady before me was shocked to hear of my fight with the undead ruler I became happy, but before I could continue to dance in my glory, that annoying meatball just had to ask what I hated the most.
" For you to be thrown into the death Mountain, what were your offense," asked Ellis while looking at Ray seriously this time.
Seeing that there is no way I could hide this from them, I started by telling them my name and how I was framed by the seer of the azure empire whom I caught making contact with the underworld demons.
Hearing my tale the whole room became silent until Ellis finally broke the silence with a question.
" Since you were able to get out of the mountain, what is your next move?
Clinching my arms together I replied I am going to kill that witch after I make her tell the word that I was right"
"To get to the azure empire you will have to be very strong and to get the seer to say she was communicating with the underworld demons won't be easy," said Kate.
"And what makes you say so," asked Ray turning to look at Kate.
"For you to grow up in the azure empire and still don't know a thing about the famous seer makes me wonder if you are truly a citizen of the empire.

The Curio Shoppe
Kellan Klein is an ordinary college student with an average, if traumatic and painful past. Everyone grows up grappling with depression and anxiety that seem to be genetic in a house with parents that, while loving, fight all the time and have weird ideas about what kids should and shouldn't do, right? Everyone deals with bullying, racism, judgement on their romantic inclinations and their family's economic status and just general shittiness, right? All of Kellan's friends sure did, and for all of them, entertaiment media were a welcome escape from their painful, dreary lives. After all, who wouldn't want to sail the seas with Monkey D. Luffy and the Strawhats, or help Meng Hao con increasingly powerful and influential people, or join Cecil Harvey and his friends on their weird journey to save the world, or make friends with Peter Parker while pretending to not know he was everyone's favorite wall-crawling superhero? Kellan certainly wanted to, and while he pursued college to seek out a career he saw himself enjoying, something felt inexplicably empty about his life. So when a decidely sinister force kidnaps him and the prettiest man he's ever seen saves his life and offers him his wildest dreams, Kellan becomes the shopkeeper of a mysterious, dimension hopping shop, complete with a system that helps him acquire items. abilities, materials, and other cool shit to stock it with, as well as some other neat perks. Will Kellan become a boring overpowered MC, like the kind from web fiction that he reads to sate his boredom? Will he keep his generally kind, sweet nature despite the shit he's gone through and will go through, or will he inexplicably become a scary, violent, irrational arrogant douchebag? Will he use his newfound abilities to explore the multiverse and improve the lives of himself and others, or will he become his own antithesis, a purely mercantile jerk obsessed with money and profit, with no concern for anything that doesn't help or hurt his business? Find out in The Curio Shoppe! Author's note: Please suggest possible setting he could visit in the comments. I'll gather ones i'm familiar with, and at the end of every arc, a poll will be held to decide the next location he visits. There will be polls for other purposes, and I might not always go with the poll winner if I feel one of the other options is more fun to read/write about. I will not use the settings of other RRL writers without their permission.Do not ask for that, unless the author in question gives permission. Most settings he visits will be slightly AU in some way or another, but please remind me if I drift too far from canon unintentionally or characterize a character wrongly. This work will eventually fit all tags I selected once he visits universes suited to those tags, so don't ask when or where a given tag is coming. I do not own the cover art, it belongs to Nicholas Belanger Thiel, and I will stop using it if he asks me to. Kellan doesn't look like the old man on the cover, though once he acquires a disguise-type ability he may occasionally use that appearance. The tapir, however, will be a thing, as despite looking like a failed attempt at an elephant, tapirs are cool and this dragon finds them to be kinda cute. The art, along with more of Nicholas's pieces, can be found at https://www.artstation.com/artwork/51bXz
