Seeing how Kate is being serious about the seer makes me wonder if she is really that an important figure in the empire.

This time it was Ellis who walk forward to sit down on a chair before turning to Ray and asked.

" Have you heard of the Chaos Tower?

"I have not heard of it, why do you ask," Ray asked Ellis while looking at him confusing.

Once again Ellis shake his head in pity and sigh, but before he could say a word, Ray fired at him

" Enough with the shaking of head and pity, if you have anything to say please do and stop putting me in suspense.

" Y-o-u" hearing the way Ray was speaking disrespectfully about their young master, Maria was just about to launch an attack at Ray when all of a sudden Ellis yelled for her to stop before replying to Ray.

" Am sorry for keeping you in suspense, but it's kinda fun. Which you could see the look on your face"

" Anyways the Chaos tower is an organization created by sorcerers in the middle heavens and Placidia is a representative from the Chaos tower to establish a branch here in the lower heavens" replied Ellis.

" So you are saying if I show lay a hand on her, it will be equivalent to challenging the Chaos tower," asked Ray.

" Not just going against the chaos tower but those who are seeking favor from the tower. You are really lucky to be standing with the Gibson clan if it were to be another clan I won't say it will be the same" replied Kate while giggling!

" Are they that weak to be licking the shoes of the chaos tower?" asked Ray who feel disgusted by their actions.

" Is not that they are weak but the Chaos tower is just too strong for an organization in the middle heaven only a few powers can rival them in the middle heaven" replied Maria.

" Ah, all this discussion are making me hungry while don't we heard to the pub to continue with the discussion while filling the stomach" this time Ellis said while stretching his body.

Seeing how serious their young master could be sometimes they could only shake their head helplessly before they all walk out of the courtyard and went to the pub. On getting there, Ellis called the attendant happily because what he wanted the most was about to be ordered.

When the attendant came over, Ellis orders the attendant to get them the best drink and food before sending her off. Sitting down on the seat Ellis told Ray, Kate, and Maria to sit down.

Maria and Kate hesitate before finally sitting down, and it didn't take long before the attendant came back with a tray of food before rushing out again only to come back with a jar of wine.

Looking at the bunch of meat that are been presented all I could do was grew happy and could not wait to devour them all.

Wasting no time, Ellis quickly put up a big piece of meat and started eating away. Seeing the way Ellis was eating like he did not care about his reputation I didn't wait to be invited and joined him.

Seeing that his maids were just watching Ellis couldn't help and told them to start eating, and it was only then done they started eating and was more of playing with the food and not eating. Paying no heed to them, I continued with my meal.

After we are done with the meals and started drinking the wine, Ellis who seem not to care about the discussion suddenly asked

" now that you know the background of Placidia are you still going to continue with your revenge"

" Even if she's the daughter of God, nothing is going to stop me from ending her life" replied Ray while drinking a cup of wine.

" I like your guts, but it's such a shame you can't back it up with your cultivation, how to wish you could defeat her with your mouth I believe by now you would have killed and buried her before leaving the mountain" laugh Ellis who seems to be getting drunk.

" It won't be long before I will be strong enough to take her down," said Ray.

" Oh then you have to be strong enough to take down the clans that are seeking favor from the Chaos tower," said Ellis.

" Anyone who stands in my way I won't mind feeding my blade with their blood" replied Ray while clenching his fist.

After hearing what Ray said Ellis place down his cup before focusing his gaze on the young man sitting opposite him before asking.

" So when did you plan to embark on your journey"

" Don't know yet but after making preparation I will be leaving" replied Ray while drinking his wine.

" Since you are not leaving and don't have where to leave, while don't you work for me," asked Ellis.

" Work for you" replied Ray with a question of his own.

" Yes, if you work for me, I will provide you with all your needs including shelter" replied Ellis.

After hearing the offer that is placed before me, I could not help but think about it. Seeing Ray being quiet Ellis did not bother asking for a reply instantly.

Taking another cup of wine Ellis couldn't wait any longer and ask once again.

" So what is it going to be"

" I don't have issues working for you, but I have my condition," said Ray.

" And what could it be," asked, Ellis

" It simple, just don't treat me like your slave" replied Ray with a serious look.

" No problem, in the first place I consider befriending you and not make you my slave," said Ellis while laughing merely.

" Come on let's fest, hey attendant get us more food and wine," said Ellis while gesturing for Ray and his maid who seem to be ignoring the jar of wine to drink up.
