Even the cuff links in the showcase was black.

Chen Lihua had to throw her face to another direction least she gets blinded by what she was seeing. ​ ​

On the other hand, Liu Longwei was oblivious to Chen Lihua's mindset, so he said to her.

"Lihua you can unpack your things and keep them on the other side of the closet".

Liu Longwei said pointing to the other side of the closet which had already been cleared out.

And that was actually Madam Liu's handwort. Earlier in the Chen Villa, she made the arrangements by calling the servants from the Liu Villa to make the neccessary arrangement for Chen Lihua.

So, it wouldn't be a problem for Liu Longwei and Chen Lihua to waste time on making space in the closet.

Chen Lihua was about opening her travelling bag when she suddenly remembered something.

"Oh my God!". Chen Lihua exclaimed.

Liu Longwei thought something happened to her so, he asked worriedly, "What happened?".

Chen Lihua looked up at him replying, "Lady Chen told me to notify her once we reach your villa and it skipped mind. Just look at me".

Liu Longwei heaved a sigh of relief because he had thought something happened to her not knowing that it was a minor matter so, he relaxed.

"That's not a problem at all because my mother has done that already".

Chen Lihua looked at him in bewilderment, "And how do you know that?"

"When we were on our way here, I happened to see my mother chatting with your mother. And not only that, I saw a bit of the texts she sent and found out she was telling on us to your mother. From that, I drew my conclusion that my mother would definitely inform her that we home already. But there's no harm in informing your mother about it, that way, she would be at peace". Liu Longwei explained.

Chen Lihua thought over what he just said and thought it made sense, so she brought her phone out from the bag in her arms, she put on her glasses and dialed Lady Chen's phone number.

She wore her glasses to prevent the phone's light from entering her eyes.

In the Chen's villa, the phone rang once, before Lady Chen picked the call.

This is because Lady Chen was still in the study room chatting with Madam Liu.

Her calm voice came through the phone, "Hello Lihua".

Hearing her mother's voice, Chen Lihua said immediately, "Hello mom, am in Longwei's Villa already. We arrived about 15 minutes ago". She said looking at her wrist watch.

On the other hand, Lady Chen sighed before complaining, "I know about that thanks to your mother-in-law, or I would have had to wait on till now to hear from you".

Hearing her mother's complaints, Chen Lihua quickly explained, "Mom am sorry I forgot to call you immediately we (She and Liu Longwei) got to the Villa because I was chatting with Longwei".

Chen Lihua said the latter part while looking at Liu Longwei who looked back at her in surprise.

Well, what Chen Lihua said was not totally a lie because she had in did chatted a little with Liu Longwei and then argued with him as well, and so that sums the chatting she had with him up.

Hearing that her daughter was chatting with her husband, Liu Longwei, Lady Chen became happy immediately and forgot all her grievances because to her, it showed that they were making progress so, she concluded on the call.

"No problem then, extend my greetings to your husband. Good night, sweet dreams, I love you sweetheart".

After talking, Lady Chen terminated the call immediately without waiting for Chen Lihua's reply.
