Chen Lihua felt proud that Liu Longwei gave a good compliment on her voice even though he hasn't even listened to it.

"You must be dreaming. I won't sing for you".

"Pretty damsel please do your husband the honour". Liu Longwei pleaded with a smile.

Chen Lihua rejected him, "Do you think I would loose my senses and sing for you just because of a few words of praise?. You're definitely not serious. I know am pretty, and so nobody can deceive me with those words".

Liu Longwei chulcked as he chided her with a mild tone, "Look at you. I can tell how proud of your looks you are from your voice".

Chen Lihua smiled proudly as she answered him, "Of course am proud of my good looks. I really need to thank Lady Chen for the good genes".

Liu Longwei nodded as he totally agreed with her, "Yes, we really need to thank your mother for the good genes or else, who knows what you would have looked like".

Chen Lihua rebutted him immediately, "What do you mean? Even if I didn't inherit my mother's good looks, I would have been beautiful since I had my father as a backup".

"Your father?". Liu Longwei asked.

He was totally surprised as this was the first time Chen Lihua had mentioned her father to him. Although he knew that Chen Lihua didn't like her father since she hasn't mentioned him once to him, but he didn't know the conflict in her family, and he didn't want to ask.

After asking that question, what he received was silence. Liu Longwei almost thought that Chen Lihua had fallen asleep if not that he knew that the word 'father' was a sensitive topic to her.

Liu Longwei opened his mouth in order to change the topic, but Chen Lihua beat him to it immediately.

"It's getting late over here, and I need to sleep early since I have work tomorrow morning".

Liu Longwei heaved a sigh and decided to console her, "Lihua you don't need to end our conversation just like that because you have a mood swing. I know this tactics very well and won't be fooled by it. Leaving that aside, did you think I would let our conversation end with you in a bad mood?".

Chen Lihua sighed as she could hear the concern and thoughts Liu Longwei had for her, so she said to him after taking a deep breath, "OK my caring husband what else do want to tell me?".

"Oh nothing much, I just wanted to remind you not to forget about the suits you're supposed to buy for me". Liu Longwei said with a hint of smile in his voice.

"Oh my God!". Chen Lihua said as she massaged her forehead with one of her hands before saying, "Are you for real right now? You're already thinking of spending my money, can't you give me a break?".

Liu Longwei stood up from the bed as he walked towards the window to look down from there.

"I know you're rich and one or two suits won't make a difference to your bank account. You don't need to think too much. I bought you a car, and I know you're enjoying it a lot".

Chen Lihua scoffed, "Are you reminding me of the car you bought for me as a topic now, so you could rip me off of my money?".

"Well you can say that if that's what you think and how you put it. But the main reason is because I want to get a gift from you, either by a hook or by crook method". Liu Longwei said truthfully without trying to hide a anything from her.

"Oh, now I get why this rich CEO wants to spend my money. OK, one or two suits really won't make me poor, so there's no harm in buying them for you". Chen Lihua said in agreement.

Liu Longwei laughed as he said, "That's my girl. Now that my wish has been acknowledged, I won't disturb you anymore".

"Am not your girl, goodbye". Chen Lihua said.

And Liu Longwei responded immediately, "Goodbye wifey".

Tut tut tut. That was the sound that signified the end of their discussion.

Liu Longwei had a satisfied smile on his face on his face after his conversation with his wife ended.

in fact, he was in a good mood and so he decided to eat. Thankfully, the food was ready so he went downstairs to eat after the chef finished serving his food.

On the other end in Country C, Chen Lihua dropped her phone on the night stand and layed on the bed to sleep.

She really had a hard time falling asleep as all that was on her mind, was her conversation with Liu Longwei.

Chen Lihua rolled on the bed for a while, and now unable to take it, she decided to fall asleep by thinking, actually dreaming of a happy marriage with Liu Longwei after setting an alarm for 05:00 Am.

At five in the morning of the next day, Chen Lihua woke up from the alarm song. From the look on her face, you could tell that she didn't sleep early as she had a hard time falling asleep.

But Chen Lihua had to wake up or else, she would be late for work.

So, she sat up on her bed, closed her eyes and got into a Yoga position. She meditated for a total of 20 minutes before going to the bathroom to wash up.

As she was brushing her teeth, she looked through the window and her gaze fell on her fingers.

Her eyes widened in shock. And the next moment, a scream escaped from her mouth.

She rinsed her mouth and her toothbrush with water in a hurry. And after that, she ran out of the room immediately.

Luckily for her, she found the house keeper and some servants cleaning up the living room and the kitchen. So she ran to the house keeper who was in the kitchen, flustered.

When she saw the house keeper and without waiting to receive a greeting from her, she greeted the house keeper first and said in a pleading voice.

"Aunt could you please help me?".
