He planned to flaunt Chen Lihua right in his face since he has come to know that he quite liked his wife. So he had to teach him a lesson with that example so he would be restless.

Without knowing his thoughts, Chen Lihua rolled her eyes at him because of what he said before walking up the stairs, and Liu Longwei followed behind her.

As if sensing that she wasn't happy with him from her not saying anything to him and her straight face, he decided to strike up a conversation.

"We will leave for the Liu residence by 6PM, So you can just relax for a while as you seem tired".

'Thank you". Chen Lihua said sincerely as she paused in her steps.

Chen Lihua was indeed tired as she already had a busy day at the hospital, and she also had to meet with the cateres. So, Liu Longwei's care was indeed needed.

"But i still need to buy some things for your family as it is our fist meeting, So it will be rude if i don't". Chen Lihua said worriedly.

At this point, Liu Longwei had to smile because he could tell that Chen Lihua cared about the opinion his family would have on her.

"You don't have to worry about that as i have already gotten something for them in your place".

"No no, that won't do. You bought it for them, and i didn;t contribute anything towards it, not even my sincerity. So i disagree with you, but thanks as wwell". Chen Lihua said in rejection.

Since she's the one to get something for somebody, she will always show interest and sincerity towards that thing.

Even if she doesn't pay for the item, at least she should participate in selecting it.

Liu Longwei was surprised that she rejected him, so he asked, "Although you have a point, but there's nothing wrong with it since we are already husband and wife".

"Although you may not see anything wrong in it, but i do. It's not my style. Besides, first impression matters. And i don't believe that with time, you would still have the same opinion as now". Chen Lihua said while staring at him.

"But...". Seeing that he was still trying to say something, Chen Lihua hushed him while placing a finger on his lips to shut him up. Then she sighed while gently saying 'Enough', before dragging him away.

But the irony of the whole episode was that she abandoned him right in front of his door before entering her room and shutting the door without looking back.

Liu Longwei was indeed bewildered as he looked like a cat abandoned by it's owners,

When he recovered from the shock, a smile formed on his lips. And then he went into his room to freshen up as quickly as possible.

When Chen Lihua went into her room, she sighed in relief as she dumped her bag and white coat on a chair before lying on her comfy bed and dozing off within seconds.

By 5PM, Liu Longwei dressed himself in a sapphire blue suit with a patterned tie and black shoes to match. He combed his ducktail and sprayed his perfume.

Picking up his phone and wallet, he walkedout of his room in all smile to meet his wife.

But haven knocked on her door and received no response, he thought that she was in the bathroom or walk-in closet, and so decide to push her door open. But who knew that he would be shocked to see her still in her work clothes, and sleeping so soundly, like she doesn't give a damm about the world.

Coming out from his shock, he shut the door behind ahe walked towards her bed. 

Haven walked to her bed, and seeing her sleeping soundly, he became confused as he didn't know if he should wake her up or allow her to sleep for a little while.

Making up his mind, he decided to let her sleep for a while as he understood how tired she was. So in other not to disturb her, he sat on sat on a sofa, and from there, he watched her sleep for fifteen more minutes.

As the 15 minutes was up, Liu Longwei decided to wake her because of time.

Tapping her gently, he called her gently, 'Lihua wake up'. But Chen Lihua didn't even bulge. So Liu Longwei had to shake her gently before she gave a resonse.

She frowned, but didn't open her eyes. 

Liu Longwei had to nudge her and call her name continously before she managed to open her eyes.

As she opened her eyes to see the spirit that was obstructing her rest, she met Liu Longwei's gaze and she hit his hands off her body before rasting her head on the pillow and closing her eyes.

Liu Longwei could only chuckle as he knew she was still in the dreamland.

So he decided to lift her shoulders up while saying, " Lihua we are going to be late if you keep this up. You still have to wash up, dress up and eat before we leave the house".

But Chen Lihua didn't even bulge, and so Liu Longwei sighed and laid her back on the bed after coming up with a descion.

"Lihua since you're so tired, then i think we should reshedule the visit. We can visit them another time". 

"Mmmhh". Chen Lihua responded still with her eyes closed.

As he said so, he turned his back on her, feeling a little disappointed with the current situation, but he still consoled himself by thinking that she was too muddled with sleep, and so didn't hear him.

But who knew that Chen Lihua would jump off the bed the minute Liu Longwei turned his back on her with widened eyes.

That sound alone made Lu Longwei to look back, and so he walked close to her.

"What were you saying, call off what?. You must be joking with me. Do you want to embarass me and let your family have a negative opinion on me?". Chen Lihua asked.

Liu Longwei had to explain quickly before she misunderstand him, and then she would flare up.

"I thought you were too tired, and so i wanted you to rest more, as your health is important.

"Thank you for your care husband, but your discision is wrong. And who cares about the sleep when i've been sleeping my whole life". Chen Lihua said as she quickly walked into the bathroom.

Then Liu Longwei's worried voice trailed after her, "Are you sure you're ok now, do you need my help?".

He asked this question as he was worried that since she just woke up from sleep, she may bump into someyhing.

"No thank you, am fine on my own, so you don't have to worry". Chen Lihua's voice came out faintly as she was already in the bathroom.

"But am worried". Liu Longwei said to himself.
