Liu Longwei who had long noticed that Chen Lihua's gaze was frequently moving between the three children with a beautiful smile on her face, could not help but ask when he leaned in close to her. "Do you love children?".

At first, Chen Lihua was startled because she didn't expect him to cut short her attention.

But then she smiled and answered him honestly, "I do, I love them so much. There's this kind of joy and happiness it brings me whenever I see children".

"That's lovely". Liu Longwei said, but he couldn't help but be surprised at himself.

'Did I say lovely'. He asked himself. But he definitely knew that his character was changing little by little, but only because of the woman by his side.

So he watched on as Chen Lihua kept looking at the children at the side.

Liu Huiling noticed her gaze and asked with a smile, "Lihua do you like children?".

Chen Lihua retracted her gaze away from the children and then stared at her before replying, "Yes I do".

"Since you like children, why don't you quickly make one with my brother?". Liu Dongmei said in a serious tone.

Chen Lihua was beyond embarrassed because right now, all eyes were on her, and now she felt her cheeks had become hot.

Liu Longwei was amused when he saw Chen Lihua's flushed cheeks, and how she was making an effort to hide her blushing face. So he decided to help her.

He looked at Liu Dongmei and replied her with all manner of seriousness, "We will have children when we want".

"How can it be like that when sister-in-law likes children very much already?, you still have to give one to her". Liu Dongmei replied.

"Alright, enough with the teasing. Are you trying to make your sister-in-law embarrassed in your first meeting?". The old lady said and everyone calmed down.

Looking at the still blushing Chen Lihua, Liu Longwei rubbed her shoulders. And when Chen Lihua looked up at him, she saw his teasing gaze, and she couldn't help but blush further as she understood the meaning of his gaze.

It didn't take long before the entire family were sitting in the dinning room. There were different kinds of assorted foods prepared by the chefs. The foods were ranged from different sizes, shapes to different colors.

As everyone on the dining chairs, Madam Liu personally served the old lady before picking her dishes.

The old lady smiled saying, "Lulu I can reach the food myself, am not so old that I can't even pick my food".

"Why didn't you serve me?". Liu Huang asked unsatisfactorily.

"Your hands are not broken, or are they?".

Madam Liu said.

"You.....". Liu Huang stammered.

"You... What?". Madam Liu mimicked her husband.

The old lady sighed and said, "You are grandparents now, so why do you keep fighting like newlyweds?. Even the children are looking at you".

And that was how the fight ended.

"Let's eat". The old lady said and so everybody began to move their spoons.

In the midst of eating, the old lady raised her wine glasses and everyone did so as well.

"Lihua our Liu family welcome you as our daughter-in-law. Cheers".

And everyone clinked their wine glasses.

But just as they were all about to drink from their glasses, a cheerful voice was heard.

"How could you all toast without me?".

"There he is". Liu Dongmei said.

The most surprising thing that happened after that speech was that the voice was totally ignored.

All the Liu family members drank from their glasses while ignoring the voice.

Chen Lihua was the only person staring awkwardly. So Liu Longwei had to touch her hand and commanded, "You're the only one left, drink up".

That was when Chen Lihua realized that she was the only one who hasn't drank from her glass. So she smiled and took a sip.

"Wow! Am I being ignored? This has never happened for centuries". The young man said as he stood staring at them.

But then he bowed as he apologized, "Am sorry for being late".

As he looked around the table, his gaze fell on Chen Lihua while was looking down and using her fork and knife.

"Big brother is that your wife, she's pretty".

Then all he got was a sharp gaze from everyone.

How dare he say that his sister-in-law is pretty right in the presence of everyone, including his brother.

This comment alone made Liu Longwei remember the grudge he had against him earlier.

"Are you not sitting?". Liu Longwei asked coldly.

"Oh that's right". The young man said as he sat down directly opposite Chen Lihua.

"But big brother how did I offend you the minute I came in?". He asked confusedly.

Liu Longwei sneered and didn't even bother to reply him.

"Eat your food". Liu Huiling said to him.

As he served himself, he gazed at Chen Lihua, but she had her face down.

And as the table was too wide, he dropped his cultlery, stood up, and walked to her side.

With his hand stretched out, he introduced himself, "Hello sister-in-law, am Liu Liwei".

Chen Lihua looked at her side, and their gazes met. She saw that he was dressed stylishly, and felt that he had a good sense of style more than his older brother. And he was indeed more charming than Liu Longwei.

With a polite smile on her face, she stretched her hand out as well, "Hello brother-in-law, am Chen Lihua".

Seeing this from the side, Liu Longwei became angry and so, he dropped his cultlery which made a noise and gaze a deathly stare at his brother.

Meeting his brother's gaze, Liu Liwei retracted his hand and went back to his seat. But then again, he poured some wine into his wine glass and raised it in a toast, "Am pleased to meet you sister-in-law".

Just as Chen Lihua raised her glass as well, Liu Longwei snatched it from her. Next, he clinked glasses with Liu Liwei before gulping the whole wine down his throat.
