Yun Xuan rushed to find her friend like she had been injected with chicken blood.

"Don't ask for gossip or I'll forget the main point." she quickly said to Wanjia whose mouth was slightly open like she wanted to shriek. Yun Xuan laughed at her little adorable face as she pursed her lips like a kid who had just been denied candy.

"So about your birth parents, you said that when you visited the hospital all the staff were new and all the records older than four and a half years were erased?"

Wan Jia nodded indifferently. The topic about her parents brought her no joy. From her former inestigation, she had found out that she had been deliberately switched at birth by a nurse. That nurse had since then left the hospital and her motive was still unknown. She had not even left any loopholes and Wanjia had only got this little information using the connections she had gathered at school. She really did visit the hospital and hit a dead end. She had lost interest since then.

But now that Yun Xuan brought it up, she didn't seem to have completely lost interest.

"What about it?" She said while holding her chin against her hand and doodling circles on the armrest with her fair finger.

"What you need now is not an information channel. You need a hacker."

"Xuanxuan, I said I don't want to ask for Lu Aotian's help." she stood up impatiently.

"Who said it was Lu Aotian?"

"It's not?"

"Nope, it's Tyler."

Wan Jia's face lit up.

"Oh, your underground spy! Of course he can hack. Otherwise how would he be an underground spy?"

" For the last time he's not a spy"

"Fine. But he's not even that close to you. Why would he help me?"

"He confessed." Yun Xuan rubbed her temples.

"WHAT? how? when? did you say yes? Why didn't you tell me?" Wan Jia was almost flying.

"That's not the main point."

"How's that the main point? Come here. Was it last night? Does that mean you guys really did it?"

"Will you stop spinning me? I'm dizzy...Wanwan!"

Wan Jia might be twenty three, but she still acted like a teenager at times. Yun Xuan just didn't know what to do about her. When discussing serious matters, she got easily distracted. Sometimes their age different would be too obvious. This was more of a relationship between sisters than between best friends.

Actually, the few people who had seen them together mistook them for sisters. They looked alike after all and Wan Jia was obviously the younger version.

At the end of the conversation, Wan Jia still hadn't decided whether or not she wanted to find her family. It wasn't really a question of whether she wanted to or not, but there were things she couldn't tell Yun Xuan. One of those things was that she was afraid her family might be in danger if she found them. Logically, a nurse switching babies wasn't something experienced everyday.... then there was the issue of the hospital getting restructured, It coincidentally happened just a few months before her He parents abandoned her.

If one was to think about it, maybe her He parents suspected something and tried to investigate, it triggered the masterminds to destroy all evidence, then they had to use other means which took them a few months and they found out that her real parents were dangerous people?

However, this was just Wan Jia's thought. She was still far from finding the truth. But what of her parents really were dangerous people? Or what if they were nice people but General Yun got wind of it and used them to pin her down? That man was still lurking and she still had to be wary of him, but she couldn't be so mean as to tell Yun Xuan that her father was a bad person. She adored him too much.

Besides using Tyler was a little dangerous....they didn't know him well enough. What if he wasn't as trustworthy as he seemed?

Wan Jia fell asleep just thinking about all these.

"Daddy, daddy! Little Jia brought you a flower!"

The little girl jumped right into Lu Aotian's arms with a white rose she had asked her nanny to pick from the garden.

She stuffed the rose into Lu Aotian's hand and kissed his cheek.

His little princess wanted to ask for something. Could it be any more obvious?

Sure enough, she tilted her tiny head and looked at him nervously.

Lu Aotian chuckled and embraced his precious daughter.

"What does my darling princess want?"

"Daddy," She pouted adorably.

This tiny thing.... had she inherited her coaxing moves from her mother? She was acting exactly like her! Even the pout was similar. Genetics....

"Can I go to see that beautiful aunty from the mall?"

"What beautiful aunty?"

"That...that crying aunty."

"I don't know any crying aunty."

Little Jia's eyes drooped and she looked like she was about to cry. She couldn't see her beautiful aunty anymore? But she was sick that day and even fainted. How could her daddy really forget about her? Then she suddenly threw her tiny fist at her father's chest.

"Daddy is a liar! Bad liar daddy! Daddy knows the beautiful aunty. Even called her Wan....wan?"

Little Jia couldn't pronounce "Wanwan" properly and knitted her little brows. Lu Aotian laughed. His daughter was too cute.

When she was born, he had named her Lu Meili.

The more she grew up, the more she looked and acted like her mother, so Lu Aotian had started calling her Little Jia and that became her nickname. Ever since she started to speak, no one could successfuly deny her anything she asked for. Once she looked at you with those big,beautiful bright eyes, you wouldn't hesitate to conquer nations for her if she asked for it.

Now it seemed like he had encountered Wan Jia two whole times. Once as his wife and once as his daughter....

The little thing in his arms wriggled to remind him that he hadn't agreed to her request yet.

She pursed her lips and looked like she her tears would fall right the moment he said no. How adorable...

How could he ever say no to her?

"Bring Wan Jia over." He said to his assistant on phone.

"Yes! yes! Daddy is the best! Little Jia loves Daddy the most!"

She skipped away happily after successfuly having her way.
