On the day after the funeral, Yun Jifeng entered his father's study room with a smirk on his face.

"I disappointed you." he said.

General Yun rolled a pen as he tore his eyes from the file about Lu Enterprise that he was studying. He looked at his son coldly.

"Father, I'll correct the situation immediately. I'll have my men slice her throat."

"Forget it." said General Yun. "If she dies, who will take the blame for the He family's death?"

"You mean..!" Yun Jifeng's blood ran cold. Indeed, no matter how many evil things he did in this lifetime, he would never rival his father.

"You didn't go there yourself, did you?" he asked his son.

"I sent my man. Also, he entered via a back gate so the city surveillance did not capture him entering the He family home." he explained.

"What about the security cameras in their house?"

The next day, Wan Jia was happily shopping with Lin Lihua when the police approached her.

"Miss, please come with us. You are under arrest." their leader said.

"What?" Wan Jia exclaimed. She had never commited any crime!

"Miss, please don't make it hard for us."

"What has she done? How can you just arrest people without a reason?" Lin Lihua gave them a fierce look.

"She commited murder. Anyway that's not very important. Miss, this way, please." he tried to cuff Wan Jia's hands when she did not cooperate.

"I dare you!" Lin Lihua snarled, then she took out her Identity card and showed them. "Do you know who I am? Do you know who my father is? How impudent of you to try and take my sister away!"

In a fit of anger, she did not hesitate to use her family's name and even blurted out "my sister". Luckily, Wan Jia did not think too much about it.

When the police officers saw her ID, they were hesitant. This was Lin Lihua. She was very famous as an actress and everyone said her father was a powerful figure in the country.

Could they really offend her?

But, Yun Jifeng was also from a powerful family and he had personally told them to arrest her for this crime.

Lin Lihua could only temporarily handle it for her. "You go back to your work first. Little Wan will make time and come to the police station later."

This was the only compromise. Even if she was innocent, she had to go over and tell her side of the story. As the accused party, it would only be right for her to aid in investigation.

The police officers left, hoping they would offend neither General Yun nor the Lin family.

The corner of her lips twitched. If Wan Jia went to the He family and the explosion happened immediately after she left, whoever was trying to frame her must have known her whereabouts to achieve such a feat.
