The receptionist was not too friendly with her. "I'm sorry miss, our Designer Wan is very busy lately. You need an appointment to see her."

Yun Xuan almost lost it. "Wan Jia is my friend. Do you think she would be happy if you treated me this way? Forget about she and I being friends. Even if she did not know me? Do you know who I am?"

The woman at the reception looked troubled. Aside from the fact that Wan Jia was indeed very busy, she could not just let anyone into the building.

Wan Jia remained a little dazed in the office. Although she really needed help, she could not trust Su Ling. What if she had come with ill intentions and stole from her again?

"D-designer Wan." she greeted shyly.

She smiled and the little girl continued speaking. "Do...do you really not need an assistant? I can..."

"You are hired." Wan Jia interrupted her. She had already asked about this girl. She had been selected by the company but no one wanted to hire her because of her extreme timidity, so she probably decided to cling onto the friendly-looking Wan Jia. Since the company chose her, it should be okay.
