After completing her current assignment, Wan Jia would meet Tyler. Before that, she focused all her energy on meeting the five customers and the CEO's requirements.

Since the workload was not much, Su Ling was not too busy either. Sometimes, Wan Jia would do the miscelleanous herself and would not require her help. She even changed her mind about hiring a new assistant to replace Lili- Su Ling was in fact very efficient every time she was needed.

On the last day of the month, Wan Jia wanted some space on her own and gave Su Ling the day off. Su Ling did not hesitate to happily make plans for the day, her boss was just very kind and would always give her a day off when she had one herself.

She went to the nearest shopping centre to look around planning to buy a few things using the monthly bonus Wan Jia had given her. Compared to the amount of work she had to do, Su Ling could tell that Wan Jia was being very kind.

When she was tired of looking around, she sat down in a dessert shop to grab something sweet to eat. She had only bought one jeans since she couldn't find anything she liked. She could not be blamed; in the past few weeks, her eyes had seen all sorts of stunning outfits that Wan Jia made. If anything pleased her, it had to be extremely beautiful.

After passing some time, she sent a message to Lu Shaoting to tell him that she had a day off and if he would be free later in the day, he could drop by her apartment for a meal.

Lu Shaoting was in an early morning meeting when his phone rang.

"I'm sorry." he freaked out and kept away his phone to continue listening absentmindedly to whoever was speaking. When he thought Lu Aotian was not looking, he sneakily whipped out his phone to reply to Su Ling.

Lu Aotian frowned. "Vice President Lu, what do you think?"

Lu Shaoting's expression was blank. What does he think about what? He had not heard a single thing in the meeting, okay? How would he have a thought? The department directors all broke out in cold sweat for him. He had finally managed to attract President Lu's attention. Wasn't he seeking his own death?

Lu Aotian was known to not be biased towards his younger brother. He was even more strict towards him than to other people. This time was no exception.

"Vice President Lu will take over this project. No one is allowed to tell him even a single word of information." he turned to Lu Shaoting whose jaw had already dropped. "Lu Shaoting, I want a complete proposal on my desk before I get to work tomorrow morning."

Lu Shaoting felt his world collapsing. Can his brother not be so heartless? Not only was he not allowed to ask for information, he would also have to come up with a proposal and complete it within seventeen hours? He was in fact a hundred percent sure that Lu Aotian would be at work at least two hours earlier than usual.

"F***!" he exclaimed in his office when he realized that the password had been changed and there were new firewalls, more secure than the last. "Have you had lunch yet?"

"I just did."

"I already gave Ling a day off. I'll be quick, okay?"

He felt the unpleasant piece of meat in his mouth and wanted to spit it out but when he saw her starry eyes anticipating for compliments, he forced it down his throat and smiled. "It's great."
