Wan Jia felt all her strenght leave her body. Lu Aotian reached out to hug her. "You would have to face it some day."

Wan Jia closed her eyes. "Where is my mother? I want to kill her!" How dare she have her with such an evil man? Had her brain been fed to pigs? Couldn't she find a better man?

She felt better and slightly more hopeful. What she didn't know was, it would not make sense if her father was someone else. His investigation had never been wrong. He only told her that to make her feel better. When the time came for Xia Rou to tell her, she would be more prepared to face the news.

When she was calm enough, she asked more questions. "Does he know?"

"You resemble your mother so he probably does."

"Then why does he hate me?"

"I wouldn't know. Perhaps it's because you refused to play his game..." and because he and Xia Rou are in bad terms. He left the second half of his statement for Xia Rou to tell her herself.

"I don't want to believe it. Can we investigate a little more?"

Lu Aotian kissed her and asked, "I have already answered all your questions. Can I ask mine now?"

"What exactly did Tyler tell you?"

Wan Jia felt it was nothing that should be kept from Lu Aotian. "He wanted me to cooperate with him. I don't know what he wants to do to General Yun."

"No."
